Chapter 15:

Chapter 14: The Third Day of School

Tifara & David-Season 1

As the third day of school had officially arrived and the bell rang, Tifara and her friends entered the school campus for the cafeteria. With Sam and Dalila chatting with one another and focusing on their surroundings in regards to Tifara's safety, May patted Tifara's shoulder as boys lusted after her and the girls glared at and gossiped behind Tifara's back. Tifara closed her eyes and put her head down while she tightened her grip.

Oh, Elohim. Please help me! Please give me strength to overcome my persecution. In Yeshua's name, Amen, Tifara thought, returning her focus to her destination. Then Dalila turned to Tifara and her destination back and forth. "Hey, are you alright, Tifara?"

Tifara moved her eyes right with a frown while Sam did the same to her as his girlfriend did, and May just turned to her best friend. "Yea…I'm tryin' to ignore the rude people who're tryin' to put me down. I'm dependin' on Elohim to get through my day."

The couple smiled at Tifara. "Well, that's good, Tifara."

"Yea!" May agreed, closing her eyes, shaking her head, smiling at Tifara.

While Tifara's friends remained focused on their surroundings, Tifara took a look around and saw David standing there in the hallway, listening to music with his earphones in his ears, leaning against the wall. She then ignored him and refocused on her destination.

Juuuus' ignore David, Tifara. Jus' ignore him. Let's jus' pretend he doesn't exist, Tifara thought, forcing a smile on herself, moving her eyes sideways. David scanned his surroundings until he saw Tifara walking down the hall for the cafeteria. He growled and glared at her with his mouth open, sucking his teeth at her.

As soon as Tifara and her friends made it to the cafeteria, they all studied their surroundings. Tifara and May saw Saul eating breakfast and chatting with Calpurnia at that same table as before. They both sighed deeply, frowning at them.

Awwwwe, I wish I was in Saul's neighborhood, 'Cause I would like to eat breakfast with my Saul all morning long, y'know, Tifara thought as her own voice sang in her heart. Then she moved her eyes right with her annoyed face at May though. But that's too bad I won't be able to eat near Saul this morning and beyond, thanks to May over here.

She smiled when looking up at the ceiling. But at least I get to go out with Saul after his church ended though….So…that's pretty neat. At least I got that.

"Yo, Tifara!" Sam's voice echoed in front of her.

Tifara turned to May after she didn't answer his call and May shook her arm. "Huh?"

"Sam's callin' ya," May answered.

"Oh." Tifara turned to Sam. "Yea? What's up?"

"Are ya ready to eat or what?" Sam questioned.

Tifara shook her head, closing her eyes with a grin. "Yep, I sure am! Let's go! I'm starvin'!"

After her friends grinned at her, she and her friends walked in line to get some breakfast and ate there.

After Tifara entered Mrs. Kaine's classroom and she and her friends waved their good-byes at one another, she walked towards her assigned seat. David growled at and glared at Tifara, watching her sit down in her seat. Tifara noticed him staring at her, glaring back at David with her head lying on her palm.

"Well, why are ya starin' at me all the sudden?!" She asked. "I thought ya don't wanna look at me all the sudden."

David growled and glared at Tifara even more. "Hey, don't get any stupid ideas, panty girl!"

Tifara looked down below with her shadow covering her forehead and eyes, growling at David. This boy has a lot of nerve to call me panty girl right now! She angrily thought.

"Anyway," David continued, "I jus' wanna ask ya somthin'."

"Well, what do ya wanna ask?"

"Why the hell were you at my shop with Saul last night?"

Tifara widened her eyes with her hand covering her opened mouth. "Uh?!" No way! Did David jus' ask me about my presence at his store last night?! Tifara thought, remembering Saul telling her that he didn't think David saw her last night. Saul told me he thought for sure that David didn't see me last night. Maybe Saul didn't notice that afterall. Tifara's voice sighed in her heart.

"Well? Are ya gonna answer my question or what?" David impatiently asked, glaring at Tifara.

"Saul and I were…interested in your bookstore and what it has to offer, so…" Tifara put her fingers together and looked down at them. "So we visited it and Saul finally got a book that he wanted. So that's that, I guess…and besides…" Tifara then turned to David. "I was wonderin' why you went into that store last night, which was really strange for you to be out this late."

"Huh…I see…Well, do me a favor," David snapped in an annoyed tone. "Don't come back into my store ever again, got it?!"

Tifara gave David her annoyed face back, before turning her head to the wall near her, crossing her arms with her eyes closed. "Well, ya don't have to tell me twice. 'Cause I don't wanna go back to that store anyways. So hmph…"

"Well, good then!" David said, also turning his head to the wall far away from him, crossing his arms with his eyes closed. Then the final bell rang echoed throughout the entire school, getting ready to start the first Homeroom period class.

After the first period and Tifara and her friends ate lunch, Sam asked his friends while leaning forward, "Are y'all ready to go to the library or what?" He pulled out the four Library Hall passes from his pocket and displayed them to his friends. "I already got y'all these."

"Ooooh," Tifara, May and Dalila said, grabbing their individual Library Hall pass from Sam's hand. "Count us in."

"Good!" Sam said, getting up from his seat. "Let's go."

Once his friends also stood up from their seats, they put their trash in the trash can and placed their trays on the tray holder. They walked their way towards the administrator, studying their surroundings. A certain number of fifth and sixth year students were still behaving the same way as the sixth years did earlier.

Tifara tightened her grip on her necklace while she stood up still with her determined face, moving her eyes sideways. C'mon, Tifara. Get it together now, she thought. Elohim and His Son will give me spiritual strength to overcome this.

Then Calpurnia and her friends viciously grinned at Tifara while eating their lunch. Tifara moved to the other side near May, before she and her friends walked past Calpurnia and her friends. May confusedly turned to Tifara.

"I don't wanna be tripped over again by Calpurnia," Tifara replied out of fear.

"Ah, I see." May blinked her eyes and shook her head with a smile. "Good thinkin', Tifara."

"Awwwe, would ya look at that panty girl Titsfara over there, so scared all the sudden," Calpurnia said, tilting her head sideways, making that baby face. "She's such a whore. Am I right, girls?"

"Course, you are, girl," Jecolia agreed.

"Yea!" Abby also agreed.

Then the crowd around Calpurnia and her friends laughed at Tifara, especially the girls. Tifara closed her eyes and put her head down, tightening her grip on her necklace even more than ever before. Dear Elohim, please help me, she thought.

May patted her shoulder and turned to Tifara with her sad face. "Don't let them get to you. Keep dependin' on the Elohim. He'll help you through it. Trust Him."

Tifara turned to May with a smile. "Thanks, May. I truly appreciate what you've done for me."

May shook her head with her eyes closed, grinning back at Tifara. "No, prob."

Dalila turned to Calpurnia and her friends and glared at them. "Shut up, you guys!"

"Yea!" Sam agreed, also glaring at Calpurnia and her friends.

Calpurnia glared at and growled at the couple. "You guys shut up!"

"Yea!" Abby and Jecolia agreed, closing their eyes, leaning forward.

"No!" The couple yelled back while walking past them.

Calpurnia growled at the couple even more, gritting her teeth. "Oh, I'm gonna get those two as soon as I get done with Titsfara! Oooooh!"

"Oh, don't worry girlfriend," Abby said, rubbing on Calpurnia's shoulder with a frown on her face.

"Yea!" Jecolia agreed, performing the same actions as Abby was doing.

Her friends comforted her while the crowd chatted louder amongst themselves. Tifara looked around the cafeteria and spotted David sitting and eating his lunch by himself. Poor David, she thought as she frowned at him, he's so lonely. I wonder what he does in the library though. What kind of books does he read? Or does he read any at all? Well, that's where we're gonna find out today.

When Tifara and her friends gave the administrator their Library Hall passes, he let them go downstairs and they walked right past them. They were happy to return to the library after a very long time. They missed being there, reading books together and checking them out as well. It was another happy time for them to get together again.
