Light Yagami

Light Yagami is a fictional character from the popular manga and anime series, Death Note. He is the main protagonist of the series, and his character arc is central to the plot of the story. Light Yagami is a high school student who discovers a mysterious notebook that has the power to kill anyone whose name is written in it. Light initially uses the Death Note to rid the world of criminals, but as he continues to use it, he becomes more and more corrupted.

Light Yagami starts out as an intelligent and ambitious young man who wants to make the world a better place. He is frustrated with the criminal justice system and the inability of the police to keep the streets safe. He sees the Death Note as a way to make a difference, to take justice into his own hands, and to clean up the world. But as he gains more control over the Death Note and its powers, he becomes more confident and starts to see himself as a messianic figure who is destined to clean up the world.

However, as Light's use of the Death Note becomes more widespread, it becomes clear that he is becoming more and more corrupted. He starts to see himself as above the law, and he becomes more ruthless and manipulative in his use of the Death Note. He uses it to eliminate anyone who poses a threat to him or his plans, regardless of whether or not they are actually criminals. He also becomes more arrogant and dismissive of others, including his own family and friends.
