I am not a pedophile or a pervert, I will stop thinking about Tana’s underage butt. I need to protect the Fox Loli, not think about the opposite, the moment after we killed the Ogre, and Tana sat on my lap, is something I’ve been thinking about quite a bit, and is something I need to stop thinking about. The worst part is she did it to let me touch her tail and that never happened, instead I ended up doing something else to her.

I wonder what stroking that fluffy fox tail feels like? Is it fluffy? Is it soft? Is it stimulating? I won’t know until I finally touch it, and I have to.

We had returned from the hunting quest three days ago. After people from the guild investigated the cave, we got payed 150 silver. We decided to evenly split the money, we each got 50 silver. I was also taught about the money system, 1 silver is the equivalent of 100 copper, and 1 gold is the equivalent of 100 silver. I now had enough money to stop having a girl pay for me, and I could pay for myself at the inn.

It has now been one week since I’ve been isekai’d, and so far it hasn’t been too bad; my dream has finally come true.

We have mostly been relaxing since we have returned from the fight against the ogre. We did low-level monster hunting all day yesterday, and I am now level 12, Tana is level 14 now, and Claire is still level 20.

It is morning time, and we had just left the inn, and have arrived at the adventurers guild.
The receptionist Lady from before greets our party, waves and calls us over.

“Hey you guys come here for a moment.” (Receptionist Lady).

What could she possibly want? Me, Tana and Claire approach the Receptionist Lady.

“Good job defeating an Ogre, that’s impressive for a new low ranking party. After some consideration about the efforts in defeating an Ogre in a quest recommended for silver ranked adventurers, the guild has decided to promote you two, Chandler and Tana to Bronze ranked adventurers.” (Receptionist Lady)

“Wait what?” (Chandler)

“Really?!” (Claire)

For real? I’m actually getting promoted? That’s actually badass, I won’t be a copper ranked bitch anymore.

The Receptionist Lady smiles at us.

“Yes really, defeating an Ogre is not a feat for copper ranked adventures; we cannot just leave Chandler and Tana as copper ranks anymore. Chandler, Tana give me your old adventure badges, and I will give you your new ones.” (Receptionist Lady)

Me and Tana give her our old Copper Badges, and she hands us brand new bronze badges in exchange.

“Here you go, congratulations.” (Receptionist Lady)

I put my new badge on my badge necklace, this is kick ass. I do still have one question however...

“How does the adventurers ranking system work exactly?” (Chandler)

“I’ll explain that in detail of course, I’m surprised you didn’t already know.” (Receptionist Lady)

I’ve been wondering since I don’t know what the highest adventurer rank is or the order, other than bronze coming after copper.

“There are a total of six adventurer ranks, they are used to gauge a person’s ability as an adventurer. As you know the first rank is copper, this is used to gauge brand new, low leveled adventurers. The next rank is bronze this is granted to adventurers who clearly possess more ability than a copper rank, and possess average strength as an adventurer, the bronze rank is statistically the most common rank within the guild.” (Receptionist Lady)

“I see...” (Chandler)

“Ku ku.” (Tana)

“The next rank after bronze is silver, like Claire this rank is granted to those who are clearly more specialized, and capable then a common bronze or copper, demonstrating that they are in fact a league above bronze ranks.” (Receptionist Lady)

I guess Claire definitely is specialized in that ice magic and is a level 20, I guess that’s the standard for silver ranks.

“Naturally after silver comes gold, this is given to strong adventurers who are around level 30 or 40, these adventurers are very capable and clearly a league above silver ranks. Gold however is the last of the four standard ranks, and it is statistically uncommon for people to get pass gold, the gold adventurers ranks is seen as a wall many cannot pass.” (Receptionist Lady)

“Why is gold seen as a wall, and how come not many get past gold?” (Chandler)

“That’s because to rank up from gold to platinum, you need to win or come close to winning the platinum games, which is a tournament, gold ranked adventurers compete in to get a promotion from gold to platinum, this is put up for the entertainment for spectators.” (Receptionist Lady)

“The platinum games?” (Chandler)

“Ku Ku, I like games!” (Tana)

Tana waves her tail after the declaration. Ah, I want to pet it, but this isn’t the time.

“After platinum is Black Steel this is the highest rank and is given to adventurers who are marginally more powerful than platinum adventurers, this includes the Skywatch 10 and adventurers who are candidates to become future members of the Skywatch 10. The very rare and few people who are Black Steel ranked adventurers are very powerful, and are the ones who would take on a legendary quest.” (Receptionist Lady)

Black Steel that sounds really hardcore and badass, I want to be that strong one day, I guess that means that monster Gentarō guy is a Black Steel rank since he’s a member of the Skywatch 10, I wonder what level he is and what it means to be one of the 10 strongest individuals in the nation.

“Looks like I gotta get past the platinum games first” (Chandler)

The receptionist lady and Claire give blank looks for a brief moment.

“Uhh..” (Receptionist Lady)

“It isn’t that easy Chandler, Anyways I’m gonna go look for another quest, since it’s been a few days” (Claire)

Claire walks over to the quest board.

“Yay another quest with Master, maybe he will give me pokey again” (Tana)

What the hell? Tana shouldn’t say stuff like that in public, it’s gonna give people the wrong impression, Especially coming from a small girl.

“Huh? Wh-Wh-Whaaaa!?” (Receptionist Lady)

The receptionist lady blushes, starts waving her arms around and her eyes start spinning.

“I d-didn’t, know that you two... were in that... uh sort of relationship!” (Receptionist Lady)

“We aren’t!” (Chandler)

Damn it, people keep getting the wrong idea about me. Me and Tana walk alway from the receptionist lady while she continues to try and get ahold of herself. If I’m being completely honest the Receptionist Lady is kinda hot and cute, and has some waifu quality quirks.

I then run into someone I know sitting in the adventurer hall.

“Oh Matt, you’re back from your leveling with Hideki already?” (Chandler)

Matt notices me approaching with Tana behind me. He also glances at my new copper adventurer badge.

“Yeah, we killed some monsters, and now I’m a level 5 now or whatever, that Hideki guy said I was at a level where I could defend myself now and said to try and be in a party of my own.” (Matt)

“Level 5 is an improvement from Level 1.” (Chandler)

“Yeah, I still need to get a weapon, and some armor like what you have.” (Matt)

“Well hopefully you can get stronger soon, the only solution to get better is to not be weak.” (Chandler)

Matt looks displeased with my remark and sighs.

“Yeah, whatever Chandler, I will be a higher level than you’re fat perverted ass soon.” (Matt)
I look over, and notice Claire grab a quest off the board.

“Looks like I gotta get going, the waifu calls.” (Chandler)

“Chandler!! Fucking Waifu, what the actual hell is that? Ahh never mind I don’t want to know. See you Chandler.” (Matt)

Me and Matt wave goodbye to each other and Claire, Tana and I meet at a table.

“Here is the quest we are going to do...” (Claire)
