Hidden Ghost

''When life gives you lemons, make lemonade''

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, to finally get the chance to become an idol and step onto that big stage and become a global star. A dream come true for anyone, I've been given lemons I have to produce lemonade. 

Ryo stared at the matched numbers for a straight 10 seconds with a feeling of chills running up his spine, Ryo rushes to give Eri's phone back to her as he couldn't fathom what is happening.

''Here have your phone back'' Ryo gives Eri back her phone in desperation

''Why so quick Ryo was there something wrong?'' Eri questioned

''No nothing was wrong'' Ryo lied as a singular sweat dripped down his head

''Oh okay'' Eri cheerfully took back her phone from Ryo 

It was already 6 o'clock in the evening the sky darkens as the sun is about to set, the living room of Ryo's apartment had a similar effect as the room dims more and more as time goes by. Ryo recognizes that the lights should be turned on immediately which he does, with the lights on he could see much clearer the atmosphere of the room was, in fact, eerie with the presence of Eri. 

Eri should maybe go home by now her dad is probably missing her so I should send her home before he gets worried for her. 

''Eri don't you think it's time to go back home your dad might be worried'' Ryo asked Eri

''No it's fine my dad doesn't even know where I am half the time, he only knows where I am when I talk back to him'' Eri babbled

That's weird what kind of parent doesn't know where their daughter is half the time and only notices when she's talking back?

''Also I'm a grown adult I think I can be wherever I want to be'' Eri insisted

''You certainly didn't act like one sleeping on a park bench getting soaked'' Ryo joked

''Hey you stop that, I was sad okay'' Eri whined

Time quickly goes by with the two making fun of each other, scrolling on their phones and the resist of Eri wanting to go back home. She decided to stay at Ryo's apartment for the night as it was too dark outside during this time, the prime hours of the Tokyo gangs. 

''Eri have you ever dealt with the Tokyo gangs during the night''

''No never, wait actually'' 

''I was walking by a gang member once and they were in my way so I said excuse me and they were puzzled on how I got there then they ran away, it was like I was invisible'' 

''Oh almost like a hidden ghost, do you believe in ghosts?'' 

''No not really, but I've never witnessed any ghosts''

As the two rattled on and on, the time on the clock showed up as midnight. The two were getting tired and in need of sleep for the night. As Ryo offered the bed to Eri for her to sleep and he would reside on the couch for the night they both slept in peace ready for the next day.

〈Sleep More, Worry Less〉

Ryo consciously got up at 7 in the morning like usual to make the most important meal that was indeed, breakfast a great source of fuel to start the day. As Ryo entered the kitchen to start making breakfast, a tired gremlin had woken up from her wonderful sleep of 8 hours. 

''Eri good morning'' Ryo greeted Eri

''Morning'' Eri spoke in her sleepy voice 

''What to make for breakfast''

( Potatoes, Onions and Eggs )

''Eri I was thinking of Tortilla de patatas, a Spanish Omelette for breakfast'' 

''Tor de pantas?'' Eri confused about what Ryo just said

First, peel the potatoes and remove the skin of the onions then start chopping * chop * chop * chop ( the Potatoes into triangular shapes and onions into small slices. Then cook down the potatoes and onions together in a pan with olive oil until the potatoes are soft. 

''Eri can you get some eggs cracked into a bowl and beaten'' Ryo requested Eri

''Okay Ryo'' Eri was still tired but accepted Ryo's request

Crack the eggies into a bowl, * crack * oh I got some on the table that should be fine Ryo can clean that, okay yes I cracked all 4 eggs into a bowl, then Ryo said beat them so spoon time. Beating the eggs up with a spoon * squish * squish *. 

As the potatoes are done drain all the excess oil off and then mix together with the eggs and sprinkle a bit of salt. Then oil the pan so everything doesn't stick and once it's hot pour the egg, potato and onion mixture into the pan evenly. 

''It smells yummy Ryo'' Eri in amazement 

''Yes and it will taste fantastic too'' Ryo expressed

''I'm HUNGRY'' Eri voiced

''It's almost done wait'' 

Grabs a plate that's larger than the pan then flip onto the plate, slide back and cook the other side of the Tortilla de patatas for 2 minutes. Then serve and cut into slices like a pizza.

Ryo was ecstatic with the result, the Tortilla de patatas was indeed perfection to the eyes those crispy flaked edges and the toasted top of it was stunning the aroma of it was Michelin. Eri couldn't wait any longer and took a bite out of it.

It burned her mouth

''Hu hu hu'' Eri couldn't contain the hot omelette in her mouth 

''Haha you idiot wait a minute until it's not off the pan hot'' Ryo laughed at Eri's stupidity

Eri manages to swallow the hot omelette, then lightly punches Ryo for laughing at her, but her punches were almost like they were non-existent, Ryo didn't feel a thing when it hit him. As the Tortilla de patatas got colder, they both devoured the Tortilla de patatas leaving no crumbs behind.

''Yummy'' Eri joyfully voiced

''All my food is yummy'' Ryo flexed

''Liar, the soup yesterday was mucky'' Eri humbled Ryo

''No it just wasn't for your taste buds'' Ryo annoyed at Eri

''Anyways I think we should go to the Krystal Agency to see if they accept you''

''Yeah sure let's go today'' Eri agreed with Ryo's comment on going to the agency

Ryo gave back Eri's clothes that have now been dry and are able to wear out comfortably, Ryo wore a casual fit of jeans, a t-shirt and a jumper (brown fit), and Eri's clothes were also jeans, a shirt and a jumper (black fit). It looked like they were a matching couple. 

''Let's go outside'' Eri excited to go out

As Ryo opens the door a gust of wind blew passed the doors indicating that it was gonna be slightly cold out, but the sun glowing indicated otherwise, as the weather app showed that it was in fact 19 degrees outside. As they both went out onto the streets for a walk, as the agency was only a 10-minute subway ride away from Ryo's apartment. 

The station was packed full of people as it is an early Monday, Mondays seem to be the busiest days of the weekdays, so they both purchased a subway ticket to the centre of Tokyo where the agency is from the ticket machines. Ryo gave his ticket to the subway conductor to scan but didn't realise Eri was there until she spoke up. 

'' You didn't scan my ticket conductor'' Eri pouted

''Oh sorry where did you come from I didn't see you'' 

''I wouldn't have seen you if you didn't say anything'' 

The conductor scans Eri's ticket after the conversation, Ryo and Eri get on the next subway a couple of minutes after. Inside the subway was full of working businessmen dressed up in suits off to work, and a couple of students that were late to class. 

Ryo didn't have to go to school today as he had done all the work and exceeded expectations on his test, so decided to hang out with Eri for the whole day for this idol audition thing which is hopefully a success for Eri.

''Okay so we are in central Tokyo, the agency is only a 4-minute walk away'' 

''...'' Eri didn't respond back 

''Eri what's wrong'' Ryo concerned for Eri

''It's just I'm a little nervous that's all''

''It's okay don't be nervous, it's just gonna be like any other interview'' Ryo confidently said

''What do you mean any other interview'' Eri cried out

''Erm, what you've never had another interview?'' Ryo questioned Eri

''No this is the first one''

Ryo didn't realise this was Eri's first interview/audition, Ryo's had countless amounts of interviews before on TV about his food and how talented he is for his age. Eri tried to hold herself together for this important once-in-a-lifetime audition.

Eri and Ryo finally made it to the agency after the 4-minute walk, it felt like 30 minutes for Eri in this nervous state, she wasn't feeling the best going into this audition. But as she felt down Ryo offered her a hug which she accepted straight away.
