"Tensions Rise Under One Roof"

It has been an hour since the fathers of both sides left their children behind, yet they have not spoken or interacted with each other. 

Given the circumstances, it's not surprising that they feel awkward.

Regardless, Shuuichirou Nakamura couldn't bear the awkwardness anymore, so he attempted to disperse the uncomfortable atmosphere among the six of them.

But just as he was about to dispel the tension, one of the five sisters stands up and addresses them.

"Shuuichirou-kun, right?"

"Yes."

The one who stood up and spoke to him appeared to be a young woman who already had a mature appearance.

Shuuichirou deduced that this girl was the eldest among the five sisters.

"On behalf of our father, I'm sorry for what happened earlier..."

The elder sister among them lowered her head as a sign of apology in front of Shuuichirou.

"No, no... I should also say the same to all of you. It's not just your father but also my own father did that. I'm sorry too."

Shuuichirou also bows his head as a gesture of apology.

A moment of silence enveloped them.

They lifted their heads and found themselves laughing at each other.

It's no surprise that they ended up laughing since they were both apologizing for their fathers' foolish suggestions. After all, it's a rather absurd situation to be in.

"Our fathers really are idiots..."

"Yeah, I guess they really are..."

They are really idiots, indeed.

Following this, the eldest sister spoke up once more to introduce herself.

"By the way, let's not dwell on our fathers anymore." said Shizuka Mizutani, the eldest sister. 

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Shizuka Mizutani, and I'm a 21-year-old, 2nd year university student studying biology."

"Although I'm sure you already know my name, let me introduce myself just to be sure," said Shuuichirou Nakamura,  "My name is Shuuichirou Nakamura, a 17-year-old high school student and I am currently in my second year of high school."

"What about the rest of you?"

One of the girls spoke up, and her reply was rather blunt.

"Why should we bother introducing ourselves to you? You're just another guy like all the others," replied the girl in a sharp tone.

"Hey, stop that Shimizu."

The girl's sharp response suggested that she was unhappy with the current situation.

Although she had a sharp demeanor, the girl was undeniably beautiful, with striking red twin-tails.

"Hmph!"

"Well, I'm sorry about that, Shuuichirou-kun. She's not very good with boys your age," apologized the oldest sister, Shizuka Mizutani.

"That's okay. To be honest, I'm not great at interacting with others either, especially girls," replied Shuuichirou.

Shuuichirou couldn't help but think that it might be challenging to get along with that particular girl.

"Well, let me introduce her to you. She's Shimizu Mizutani, a second year high school student, the same age as you," said Shizuka, introducing the sharp-tongued girl.

After Shizuka introduced Shimizu, one of the remaining three sisters stood up and introduced herself.

"Let me... introduce... myself. My name is Ringo Mizutani... I'm 14 years old... It's... nice to meet you.", the girl introduced herself shyly.

"Nice to meet you too."

The girl who introduced herself appeared to be a young adolescent in her middle school years.

"Why are they even making this little girl join this idiotic situation?!", the thought crossed Shuuichirou's mind, but he kept quiet and simply nodded politely, not wanting to cause any further awkwardness in the situation.

"So, Ringo-chan, right? What grade are you in school?", asked Shuuichirou with a friendly smile.

"I am a second-year middle school... student," Ringo answered.

At this point, there were still two girls left who hadn't introduced themselves.

"What about you Shino and Shizu?", Shizuka asked.

"I'll introduce myself then," said the girl. "My name is Shizu Mizutani. I am a 17-year-old second-year high school student."

"Wait... What?!!"

Shuuichirou was surprised by Shizu's introduction as it contradicted what he had heard earlier from Shizuka. 

According to Shizuka, Shimizu was also a 17-year-old second-year high school student. Shuuichirou was puzzled and wondered how this discrepancy came about.

"As expected..."

"Huh?"

Shizuka noticed Shuuichirou's reaction and said, "No, I mean, it's expected that you're gonna react like that. Anyways... Let me tell you something. Shino, Shimizu and Shizu are triplets. They're born on the same date though not at the same time."

Shuuichirou felt a sense of relief upon learning the truth.

"So, Shino-san, is also the same as us?",

"Yes, that's right. But like I said, they are not born on the same time. The first is Shino, the second is Shimizu, and the third is Shizu."

Shuuichirou confirmed the order of the sisters, saying that Shizuka is the first and oldest sister, followed by Shino, Shimizu, Shizu, and Ringo.

"Exactly! You already get it!"

Shuuichirou observed that Ringo had a unique name compared to her sisters, as her name did not start with "Shi" like the rest of them. He found it quite interesting and mentioned it to the group.

"But wait... Why does Ringo have a unique name compared to all of your names that start with 'shi'?"

Exactly, all the sisters, starting from Shizuka and ending with Shizu, have names that begin with the syllable "shi", it's only Ringo who is different.

"Well, our mother is fond of apples. So she named her "Ringo"."

"Oh... So you still have a mother...? Where is she?"

"Yeah, but unfortunately, she's currently working overseas. What about your mother?"

Shuuichirou asked Shizuka about her mother, to which he replied, "...she passed away long time ago..."

"...umm... I'm sorry to hear that."

"No, that's okay."

This time, the topic of the word "mother" was one that Shuuichirou couldn't talk about, he usually tries to steer clear of it. However this time, it can't be helped.

After mentioning his mother, Shuuichirou's expression darkened, and a sense of discomfort descended upon the them once more.

Shizuka once again breaks the awkward silence by clapping her hands.

"Well, now that we've done introducing to each other... Can you tell us where we can put this things we have here? Hehe..."

Shuuichirou's face, which was previously clouded, turned into a look of shock as he realized that there were only three rooms and two of them are the only ones available, where is the room of his sister and father, who were currently out.

"Oh no... That father of mine... I'm sorry but there are only three rooms and only two rooms are available since my sister and father is out."

"That's fi—."

Shimizu speaks up again, but this time in a much harsh tone, after Shizuka was about to respond.

"What's fine with that?! We're living in the home peacefully and we're gonna sleep together? I want my own room!"

Shimizu speaks up harshly, objecting to the idea of having to share a room and insisting on having her own space.

Shino, who has been quiet until now, interjected and said to Shimizu, "Don't act spoiled, it's not like Shuuichirou-san asked for this to happen."

However, it seems that Shimizu did not like what Shino have said.

Shimizu retorted to Shino's statement, questioning her sudden bravery, "You've been quiet until now and you're speaking up just now? Don't act like you're brave."

Shuuichirou realized that the situation was not good.

This situation on the first day of them living together in his own home is truly unfortunate.

Despite it being their first day living together, such issues were already arising.

Shuuichirou's frustration was palpable as he thought to himself, "Real girls are such a pain. I'd rather escape into the world of my favorite anime characters than deal with this."

But the main question here is that, will he be able to choose from the five of them despite the current situation? Will his negative thoughts about actual girls persist, leading him to solely love his favorite anime characters instead?

No one knows at the moment because that is a question that remains to be answered as the story unfolds. 

It's hard to predict what will happen next and what choices Shuuichirou will make, especially with the complicated situation he's in now. 

We'll have to wait and see how things turn out for him and the five sisters.

The only thing we know is that we can be certain that it's only a matter of time before they form a strong connection with one another.
