Afterword

This marks the tentative end for ‘Musubi’ my entry to the MALxHF 2023 contest. If you've made it this far, thank you. If this is your first chapter, I won't spoil anything major.

The initial concept revolved around the usual trope of a hopeless guy finding that kirakira girl and them hitting it off. A simple story, but it turned into something that gave me a headache (especially since I challenged myself to upload daily and it came to the point I'm pulling all-nighters just to fulfill it). There's also mystery too, and I hope I did it some justice.

Musubi was, if you haven't researched already, a Japanese word for ‘knot’. It's a very fitting title for a romance novel since they'd eventually go to the ‘tying the knot’ phase, right? There's a lot of meaning to it but I guess I'll leave that to you, the reader's interpretation. It's been a short and sweet time, but I had fun writing it and I hope you too, will find some sort of value in this little story.
