Chapter 142:

Vol. 7 Epilogue

Transmigrated Into a Noble's Beaten Son

Hey everyone! Ne here '')/

Zo, Cat and I would just like to announce that Volume 8, the upcoming volume, will be the last Volume containing all the final arcs of TNBS! It'll exceed the usual number of chapters our past volumes have had, as this'll be the volume in which we'll post chapters until the official end of TNBS.

It's seriously wild to think that we're nearing the end of our very first novel. We're so grateful to all of you who read TNBS for the first time and especially those who stuck along this far. We hope the final volume will resolve Naell's journey satisfyingly.

Please stay safe, stay hydrated, and we hope you all have an amazing week ahead of you!

***********

Weeks had gone by since the meeting with the pupils and a lot had occurred since then. Slowly, the defeat of the guardians could be felt around Mundo as the pieces of Lucile began making more noise.

That was why Wilfred and the others decided to not lag behind and move fast as well. Befitting his title, the first to leave was Rizaul Kekoy, the pupil of speed. On the very first morning, the young elf made haste to return to the protagonist's party.

Alongside his friends, they would then continue their quests to fight the pieces of Lucile. It seemed that the Guardians had already known about their contributions for a while now.

Wilfred was pleased and only implored his son to ask his friends on his behalf for their continuous aid. Of course, Rizaul, who knew his friends quite well, assured his father that they would do so unprompted.

"Besides, that was our very intention in the first place."

The second to leave were the two scholars, Drhys and Sajae, the pupils of will and strength. They intended to go to the Dukedom of Arigare to meet with the protagonist's party.

At first, they wanted to leave early like Rizaul but since they were really tired they just left the next day. Rizaul and they planned to meet in the Dukedom so they could altogether venture to the Spring Continent.

The scholars' job was to meet the Guardian of Strength at the Lair of Dragons, located on the western side of the Spring continent. They will then update him with the news of what was said in their meeting.

And after that, both scholars will travel once again to manage the scholar guild left behind by the now-missing Wizard of Books.

Wilfred, the Guardian of Speed also left after staying for three days in Beryldot. He was with Lesjon, the pupil of Luck, and Klata, the current Guardian of Vitality.

The elf guardian will then coordinate with the Guardian of Luck, Roetem Star, more famously known as the Celestial Wizard before going out to other continents to assist the venturing pupils.

Yet first, he needed to make sure Klata was safe. Hence he decided that it was better to transfer her to Taglagas. That would also lessen the risks Beryldot was taking at that moment.

"I'm sorry for being secretive young master, thanks for your understanding."

During those two days, she, Lesjon, and Wilfred actually stayed in the Beryldot mansion to rest. Which was why she and Naell had the chance to catch up and even had an alone tea time together.

"Well, cousin, see you soon."

Lesjon Star who also just recently learned of his pupilship, upon arriving at his home, immediately announced to his family his pupilship and therefore renounced his line to the Marquisdom.

He then started his mission; which was to coordinate with the nobles and the adventurer's guild about the involvement of the Guardians.

Because of that, it had put ease on the minds of the allied nation that the guardians still did exist. However, the fact that some of them were missing and defeated was left untold.

Only the King of Tagalagas and some of his trusted nobles knew the true extent of what had happened. Even the location of Klata or her being the Guardian of Vitality was kept secret from everyone.

Lesjon was also summoned by his grandfather but that was for another time. As for Naell and Owly, they were still in Beryldot. It was noticeable that the young owl was still not in his best mind to travel hence why they delayed their leave.

He didn't even oppose their suggestion and tried his best to be as chirpy as usual in front of everyone. Yet his lingering worries could be felt by all who knew him. Due to this, Andrea and Lilia had been spoiling him with his favorite foods.

Naell was also doing his best to cheer Owly up until such time he could focus on the mission. At that moment, they accepted two tasks; one was to look for the Guardian of Charm, the Golden Fairy, Sampua.

The other was to find clues about the location of the guardians who got defeated. Usually, it would be Wilfred's job to look for clues about the missing guardians, but since Owly insisted, they were now tasked to help and update him if they found some clues.

All of them believed that the guardian of will and wisdom were still alive, as their guardianship was still not passed down. On the other hand, even with the silence, all of them had a feeling that perhaps Wisdel Wigence might have already perished.

It was also mentioned by Wilfred how Wigence was expected to be the first one to arrive at the dungeon where they were ambushed.

Naell also had a talk with his father who then apologized for not informing him of his past. Yet he only smiled and forgave his dad easily, it was afterall to protect their family.

And if he should blame someone for being involved in all this, it should be Sampua who made him her pupil without his knowledge. Nevertheless, Naell knew all of that was just an excuse as he would eventually travel to accompany Owly.

"So for now, we should head south."

"I understand, HOOT."

"Well, after I process my student permit in Taglagas."

"Okay, HOOT."

It was awkward for Naell to be with such an obedient owl, but seeing how Owly didn't want to talk about it, he also refrained from doing so.

Naell only put his hand on the owl's head as he said, "Don't worry, we will find them."

To which he got a smile from Owly who then nodded with a HOOT.
