It had been a while since she found something interesting. The world was boring. Usually she would not leave her building, but that day she wanted to be inspired. It was a coincidence, really. A walk to the boring convenience store. Maybe see what new items they stocked. Nothing to note.

At the time it must have really been too long since she walked for that long. A simple trip on the pavement. She could detect herself falling, but had completely given up. Not worth paying attention to. However she didn’t fall. She found herself at an angle on the big arm of someone else.

‘Are you ok?’

A suave voice, somewhat high pitched. Their face was masked, brown hair peeking out from under their beanie.

Was there really someone this selfless in the world? Going out of their way to catch a stranger.

She looked into the person’s eyes. A really warm brown, nearing the point of red. Light, as light as amber. The eyelashes were long. Blonde. She committed it to memory.

She went home that day, unable to forget the pure kindness in their eyes. How wonderful.

She opened up the media for once. Maybe she needed a distraction.

She was greeted with images and images, and videos and videos of a guy with blonde hair. Low voice. Medium build.

But the same eyes.

She was so sure of it. That’s the same person. No doubt about it.
