Near the convenience store, Shihan thought he saw a glimpse of purpley black hair. Immediately, shivers were sent down his spine. It was only recently where he was willing to go out without Mahne. He did not want anything like that to happen again.

Shihan turned back to the road. As he thought, it was that shade of purpley black hair. Her eyes lit up.

‘Han–’

Before she could finish, a white truck slammed her body with a loud thud. Shinhan’s eyes widened at the sight of the large splatter of blood.

The truck reversed, and swerved around the body. A hit and run.

Shihan thought that would be the end of it, but it wasn’t. The cars following did not swerve around, rolling over the body as if it was simply a speed bump. Shihan watched her cooling body slowly disconnect, her wicked smile gradually disappearing, but only a little bit so that her remains would still have a hint of it. Her blood smears across the road as the tyres of the cars roll over her body and drag the blood along with it. Not a single person seems to notice the corpse.
