Master Z

A tall middle aged muscular man with white hair and eyebrows stood at the end of a cliff, looking at the beautiful sunset behind the water that spread on endlessly before his eyes, feeling the breeze on his face.

“So it’s true after all” said the man, a little concern in his voice, “A match really has appeared, hasn’t it?”

“Yes Master Z” said a young girl standing beside him, “according to our sources, it’s a boy of around 16-17 years, living in Shimla”

“Around your age” said the man, “have you informed the society?”

“Already did Master” said the girl, “but worst of all is –”

“The Grim knows about this” said the man in a grave voice. The name was enough to bring visible fear and concern in both of their eyes. The man said, worried, “He might already have started the procedure”

“We must get to the boy before him master!” said the girl in great worry, “If the Gr-” she couldn’t utter the word out of fear, “If he got him before we do, then… then…” sheer terror was on her face.

“I know Sara” said the man. He thought silently for a while and said “Send Gagarblue to get the boy? I think he is back from the Mermaid Islands?”

“Yes Master… but…” there was a little doubt on the girl’s face, which the man saw and said, “Don’t worry. I know you think Gagarblue might be too much for the boy, but he is a good and mature man even though it might not seem like. Believe me, he is the best man for this”

“I’m sorry Master, I didn’t mean to doubt you”

“It’s alright. After all, Gagarblue is just a drop of what the future holds for this boy. There will be people and difficulties way bizarre than anyone who doesn’t know our world can imagine, this will just the beginning” said the man with a smile, looking at the future.

“Right sir” said the, closed her eyes and disappeared into dust.

The man sighed with a smile of hope and said, “I wonder what kind of man you would be, warrior”
