Seating arrangements

    "Yo", Kazou said as he got to the table. It was a rectangular table that could seat about 6 people. Three on one side and three across. 

    "Hey", Suma said greeting Kazou first. 

     "Hello" "Yo" "Hi" the others said. Kazou had arrived last.

   The group had been standing all waiting for eachother to sit down. 

    "Why haven't they sat down yet?", Kazou thought. 

     Suma who must've been reading his mind whispered to him, "Ami got here first and wanted us to wait for everyone to sit down, I don't know why though".

    "Alright!", Ami said, "seating arrangements!"

     Kazou wasn't very fond of Ami back when they first met. She was always optimistic, annoyingly so, and she seemed like she wanted to be the center of attention. But as Toyo and Ami grew closer Kazou accepted that he would have to become friends with her. 

      "So I want to sit next to Toyo", Ami said pointing to 2 seats on one side. "And Yumi you can sit next to me since you don't really know these three well".

     "Okay" Yumi said. Kazou could tell she felt awkward sitting with them.

    Yumi from what Kazou could tell didn't have to many friends. She was education obsessed and very snobby, but she could be nice sometimes. 

     "And Suma you can sit across from me and Kazou sit across from Toyo. How does that sound", Ami finished saying.

     The group agreed, partially because they didn't care. Kazou got lunch from the school today, he unwrapped his egg sandwich and started eating. Toyo had also got the egg sandwich, Ami had a salad, Suma had the school's pizza with a bag of cookies that you can buy for extra money, and Yumi didn't have anything to eat. 

     "So how's your project going", Ami asked looking at both Kazou and Suma. 

      "It's going alright we went to a Cafe during the weekend", Suma said as she started eating. 

       "Well that's interesting", Ami said. "Yumi and I went to the nail salon together for my place."

        "That sounds very interesting Ami!" Toyo said smiling. Kazou noticed he always seemed slightly different around Ami, but Kazou is the only one who noticed.

   The group talked for as they ate. Ami, Toyo, and Suma did most of the talking while Yumi and Kazou kinda sat quietly in there corners. Suma had offered Kazou one of the two cookies she bought. Kazou took the cookie and thanked her. Ami noticed it but didn't say anything.
