Chapter 17: The Pavilion's Summit part 2

Gates of Ardion

A few minutes had passed before something finally happened. In the meantime, Ardion was so bored that he had no choice but to start tapping on the table. Finally, two glowing figures appeared in two of the seats on the other side of the table. One of them was blue, while the other was red, and both of their eyes were white. These new figures had the shape of a human being. They had no hair, mouth, ears, or nose.

The arrival of these two figures caused the almost asleep Lusstul to jolt awake and just glare at them with great annoyance. Meanwhile, the two figures sat down and, with crossed arms, looked at Ardion, completely ignoring the child-looking goddess beside her.

"The others asked us to join in their stead as they were busy and requested us to vote and speak in their stead should it be necessary. I hope you are not too angry, Ardion." Stated calmly the blue one.

Despite not having a mouth, the blue individual managed to speak.

"Out of the then invited, only two arrived? Great, they no longer care about important matters, it seems; fine, let us get it over with since they authorized you two to decide in their stead, it is fine, but I hope this will not happen again when we are to discuss important topics." Replied Ardion with noticeable anger and irritation.

"Wait, didn't you say you would only convey an assembly if you found someone usable?" Spoke up suddenly the red figure.

"That is correct, and the main topic which I wanted to discuss was... Giving him our blessings..." Stated Ardion calmly, yet there was a noticeable coldness in his tone.

"Giving him our blessings? Are you insane? He would die instantly! I thought that man was merely part of your study! He doesn't seem to be a big shot! Will he even be able to be of help?" Replied quickly angrily the blue figure.

"He is a level 155 being; I don't think that it would be wise if you underestimated him!" Declared Ardion and glared at the two individuals.

"Level 155 would be a high level, but without being able to use any of the main three forces... There are plenty of warriors who could best him. I know you yourself created this level system, but that is just a minor boost compared to the three main forces, especially when it comes to Qi... A cultivator could be just as strong as a Mana and an Aura user simultaneously! Also..." Stated the red being, but was cut short quickly.

"God of Water and Goddess of Fire, I highly advise you not to underestimate my judgement! After all, you have done nothing really other than live your lives leisurely! We, however, have been conducting numerous studies to find the best candidate for the job; to push back by brother... It is high time you finally stop rubbing your butt or beating your meat and come back to reality; if this continues, we will have no choice but to face my brother head-on!"

"This also applies to the others as well! Now I can already see how lazy you are... I not only found a candidate to help us fend off my brother but found a world which we can then also acquire!" Explained Ardion

However, soon after he finished and was about to question the reaction of the other two gods, something unexpected happened. A new phenomenon transpired, but this time, it was on top of the table. Another figure appeared in the pavilion, but this was not one bit resembling a human being. It was purple and seemed as if it was made of fire. The body was in constant motion and was constantly changing. Just like the other two, God of Water and Goddess of Fire, the figure only had eyes, red eyes, which were glaring at Ardion.

"What a warm and pleasant assembly you are having. It seems you have failed to keep your status up. Only two gods are here; pathetic! You have lost your past self and were softened, Ardion!" Stated the new entity.

"I chose harmony and tranquillity rather than chaos and destruction. I have changed, but that doesn't mean a damn thing, for you and your followers will fall! No matter how hard you try, no matter how many Spawers you send to break our world, it will all be fended off!" Replied Ardion calmly and shifted his gaze at the new character.

"Do you really think that you were the only one who was searching for a powerful champion? I have already found mine, and it is growing more and more powerful by the day. Your puny little champion will fail, just as your world! Can't you see, your friends had already given up this fight!"

"And you; what will YOU do when you are left alone?! You will stand no chance; you will be swept away and will be defeated, no matter what you do; if you truly want to keep up harmony and tranquillity, you have signed your own doom!" Declared the purple being and started laughing as he glared at Ardion.

"I didn't say that my principles apply to my fellow gods. Those who fail to do their job will be punished." Announced Ardion.

Although his tone seemed calm, everyone around the table knew he was not calm; on the contrary, he was quite angry.

"Suit yourself... Brother..." Said the purple character, and moments later, he vanished.

For a few minutes, the atmosphere was cold; no one dared to speak; Ardion was seemingly calm; he was emitting such a powerful aura which caused everyone to tremble.

"It is time for me to show why I said Solo is suitable... Here is his house, which he built alone, and before I start explaining, I will add one more... His base is more prepared than even the largest guilds' was!" Spoke up Ardion after some time.
