Chapter 1.5: Was It the right thing?

Jeslyn Cruz POV:

I'm Jeslyn Cruz, a 16-year-old girl who's known as the most popular student in my class.

Recently, I came across Jalen Bernard, a quiet and introverted person who caught my attention. Although he preferred isolation, he got bullied and expelled twice for defending himself. I wonder why he faced such hardships, but I'm glad he's becoming more open now.

Unfortunately, during a fight with another girl, I lost my temper and tried to punch her. However, Jalen witnessed the whole thing, and in my anger, I lashed out at him too. He caught my punch and threw me to the ground. I regret my actions and wonder if I did the right thing. Despite my mistakes, I hope to connect with Jalen and maybe even become Student President one day.

Anyway, I don't know if I did the right thing or not. When I fought that girl, I felt power and dominance over her. I know it's not the right thing to do but she wanted to harm me. I didn't know why she wanted to hurt me but she did.

Annabelle Ding is a person I should watch out for.

And then when I found out that Annabelle has two cracked ribs, a broken leg, and a broken nose, I only did nothing but cry.

I made a terrible mistake.

I shouldn't be forgiven.

I shouldn't have friends.

I don't even know how to approach my friends next week.

I don't even know myself....
