Her Stories

Eiji checked his reflection in a large mirror. His dark blue formal suit felt a little strange to him. Some elements of that outfit are a bit foreign. He felt like he was cosplaying a character in a fantasy story.

But now he really looks like a principal.

He then looked around, surveying Sienna's room. It was indeed new, but that lady said the interior was exactly the same as before. Apart from the mirror, there is only a bed, wardrobe, and work desk.

Everything looks plain and gives the impression of loneliness.

Eiji got thinking. He should let his staff know that they can request what they desire. He did wish to save funds, but he also didn't want to sacrifice their mental state.

"Excuse me, sir." Sienna knocked on the door from the outside. "Are you done?"

"Yeah." Eiji slightly combed his hair, then opened the door, about to go out.

"No need to leave yet, sir." The assistant entered the room with a white sheet draped over her arm and carrying a small suitcase. "I wanted to do something to you…. Ah, that came out wrong."

Eiji also started to think strangely hearing that.

Sienna pulled her desk up to the mirror. "Please sit down."

"Okay…" Even though he knew what Sienna would do, Eiji still felt awkward.

As soon as he sat on the chair, Sienna covered his body with the white sheet.

"Because of my previous job, I often cut my friends' hair. Well, I only ever do that for women, though." The assistant tied the end of the cloth behind Eiji's neck. "I hope this will turn out well."

The principal glanced at that woman as she opened the briefcase on the table. That thing contains scissors, combs, scrapers, and some other hair-shaving equipment. She was really prepared for all of this.

"What was your previous job?" Eiji asked to suppress his awkwardness. For the next few minutes, he would be very close to Sienna.

"I used to be a nun." Sienna started brushing Eiji's hair. "A person devoted to god."

The principal raised an eyebrow. "Well, that was unexpected."

Eiji would never have guessed that a woman in a sexy outfit like Sienna had ever done such a job.

"And I regret it now." She took a deep breath. "In my previous life, I swore not to touch or be touched by men. And do you know what happened after I died and met God?"

"That God said it was okay to have relationships with men?" Eiji made a guess.

Sienna chuckled. "I still remember his words. He laughed at me because I didn't use my thing."

So, Sienna is still a virgin.

"But I heard that some god ordered their servants not to do such worldly things." The assistant continued. "It just so happens that my god isn't like that."

"So, after that, you were resurrected?"

"Yeah. Long story short, I was sent back into this world sometime after that." The woman starts cutting Eiji's hair. "Then how about your life, sir? I only know that you are a teacher."

"I haven't even had a chance to teach." Eiji kept looking at the reflection of Sienna's pretty face in the mirror. "And to be honest, my old life was boring."

They then exchanged stories. True to his words, Eiji couldn't show anything special in his life tales.

That is different from Sienna, whose life is filled with exciting things. She told Eiji about her childhood, which was filled with playing around in the village, about gifts from people she prayed for, about some men who tried to propose to her, and so on.

Even though he can't tell colorful stories like his assistant, Eiji really enjoys her company.

"So, do you miss your world, Sienna?" The young man asked.

The woman smiled again, but this time it was even more bitter. "Every day, I'm in my world, sir. But if you mean do I miss the old state of my world, that's true."

"Ah…. This is your world?" Eiji didn't expect that.

"You are right, sir." Sienna paused for a moment. "In the past, an evil wanted to destroy this world. Despite the efforts of humans and other races to fight back, they failed. Even our last hope, a hero from Earth, could not prevent this world from being destroyed."

It turns out that behind her warm smile, there's pain hidden. Seeing her life shattered like that would have a significant impact on her.

"Is that why you are eager to do this job?" Eiji asked another question. "You don't want other worlds to be destroyed like yours?"

That woman nodded and started to apply hair gel to Eiji's head. "I accept this task voluntarily, after all. I could have refused."

Maybe because of that, she could endure solitude in a remote place like this for a long time.

"You are a great woman, Sienna."

For the umpteenth time, the assistant's face flushed red. "Thank you for the compliment, sir. I'm very flattered…. And, it's done."

Sienna removed the cloth covering Eiji's body, then brushed away the hair on the man's shoulders.

"I'm sorry, sir. Maybe because I was too excited, I forgot to do this. I should have done your hair before you put on this suit.

"It's okay. You did a good job." Eiji looked at his new hair. Sienna didn't cut it too much, and she shaped it all slicked back.

Eiji didn't expect that he saw a significant change in himself just by changing his hairstyle. He felt like a new person.

"You look very sharp, sir." Sienna stood beside Eiji with her hands on her stomach, also looking at the man's reflection. "You will make a great impression on anyone who meets you."

"After hearing your story, I'm even more motivated to help those would-be heroes, Sienna." Eiji got up from the chair. "I will try to do my best."

"I'm glad to hear that, sir." Sienna's mouth curved into another smile.

"Let's go, then." The young man walked towards the door. "We will welcome our new teacher."

With his hands in his trouser pockets, Eiji walked down the hall of his workplace, past the new rooms the workers had completed.

His job as a principal of a school has just begun.
