Chapter 27:

An Interesting Autobiography.

The Bestfriend's Love Story: Kazou and Suma

"See you Suma said", Kazou read aloud. "And that's the end".

"That's how it ends?",  Naoka asked.

"Yup", Kazou said smiling. Suma was in the kitchen making some food as she was taking a break from her work.

"So what'd you get on the assignment", Kazuki asked.

"I actually failed", Kazou said laughing.

    "How'd you fail?", Kazuki asked.

"I was supposed to write it in a first person point of view but I wrote it in third", Kazou said smiling.

"Wow your an idiot dad" Naoka said.

It had been 17 years since Kazou and Suma went on their first date. Kazou was now 34. Suma and him married after they graduated from school. Kazou decided not to go to college so his college savings were spent on a house.

Around when Suma had turned 20 she tried to write a manga. She failed at it the first time, but Kazou encouraged her to keep on writing. By the time Suma was 22 she started a new series. The series was an isekai. This series didn't fail. That was Suma's first success. She then went on to write more and more and draw more and more. Kazou was her number one fan.

When the couple was 23 they decided to have a child. Nine months of labor later they had their first born. Her name was Naoka. A year later they had another child. His name was Kazuki. The family lived happily as Suma started a career in manga and Kazou became a stay at home dad. He helped Suma with her manga aswell.

That brings us to the present. Suma's newest manga got an anime adaptation. It was a romance manga. The family watched it together every week. Today the finale came out. The kids asked Suma where she got the idea from. Suma then went to her office and brought out a stack of papers stapled together.

The papers were Kazou's 'interesting autobiography project' and the main inspiration for Suma's manga. Kazou then read the whole thing to his children. They listened carefully as they loved their father very much.

"Wow your an idiot dad", Naoka said.

"Agreed", Suma said from the kitchen, "Anyways dinners ready!".

"Ooo what is it?", Kazuki asked.

     "Egg sandwiches", Suma laughed.

"They don't have any hot sauce in them do they?", Kazuki asked.

     "Only your Fathers", Suma whispered.

As the 3 of them got ready to eat dinner Kazou stared at his project from highschool.

"I'm glad Toyo asked me to talk with Ami and him that day", Kazou said to himself.

"What about Uncle Toyo", Naoka asked.

"Nothing" Kazou said smiling. He was very happy things went the way they did.

As he picked up his sandwich he looked at Suma. "You put hot sauce in this didn't you?"

"Pfff me? Hot sauce? Noooo", Suma said denying the accusations.

"Alright then here", Kazou said handing her half of the sandwich.

The kids laughed as Kazou and Suma both ran to the fridge and fought over who gets to drink the milk first.

"Alright I gotta get back to my work", Suma announced after dinner.

"Alright see you later" Kazou said

"Farewell my beautiful family", Suma said heading towards her office.
