Hello , beautiful another world

We dealt with the remaining soldiers with ease, as without their leader, they lost any will to fight. 

I appeared from the shadow, and my vision got blurred, my skin burn, I felt that my head close to explosion and I began to lose my balance. She was in a moment next to me and give her shoulder to lean on:

"How are you, honey? Sorry that it took me so long, but I had to make sure that he was fully focused on his attack, otherwise it wouldn't work."

I tried to grab as much air as possible with my dry throat:

"Here is your steak, well-done, as you ordered, Mrs."

"I'm not married, yet"- She replied with a smile of relief.

"How so, did I make a mistake and leaned not on my wife?"- I asked with chuckle.

"NO, there is no mistake, sir"- She answered puffing out her cheeks. We both laughed.

Approaching the lake we saw a magic spell to activate the portal.

"What a beautiful view, for our first date, don't you think so?"- She said, spellbound by the view.

"Date? SO that's what the battlefield is called in this century?"- And of course I got a little bump to my head.

Her mood quickly changed to serious: 

"I will put magic and coordinates, we are going to another world."- She started to cast spells and I admired her magical work. Suddenly, a green portal entered in front of us.

"Where does it lead?"- I asked.

"To my teacher, she escaped from my world long time before me, she has a lot of knowledge about magic and she can solve our main problems, that they can track my magic and your intolerance to the sun, and maybe give us more information."- She quickly explained.

"My lady, may I invite you to your "carriage"?"- I held out my hand to her.

She grabbed me by my hand and pulled me into the portal:

"Anytime."

-At the same time, somewhere nearby-

I watched them entering the portal and whispered with regret:

"Sorry proprietress, I failed the mission and I could not protected him."- And the voice went into the void...

-Inside the portal-

I lost all my senses, I couldn't hear anything, the ground disappeared under my feet, I couldn't see anything, there were no foreign smells, and the only thing I felt, was her hand and the beat of her heart, working in unison with mine. The track of time was also lost. How long have we been here? Hour, day, year or maybe millennium? Huh what does millennium means?  In reality, we spend an infinite amount of time here, but also did not spend time at all. I decided to discard thoughts about time, because if you watch after it, it will last together. SO I decided to concentrate my feelings on her hand. Smooth, soft and warm hand, which I must protect at all costs...

And then I suddenly felt the sun on my face. Sun? Burning pain covered me, I shrank and hid my face, but even though the cloak, the sun passed.

"Nyx" - I heard her voice and she dragged me in the shadow of the tree. And the pain slowly was gone.

"I will maintain the shadow magic until nightfall, and then we will go to the teacher. Sorry for not calculating that we will fall under the sun."- she said upset. I touched her face and said that everything is fine. Until the night, we spent the day talking and discussing our live.

-The night came-

"Do you know where is your master?"

"Have no idea, but portal send us somewhere near here."

We hit the road. his world , looked too ordinary? Common plants, common grass, common animals and common earth. Nothing felt unusual. But we were vigilant, because we felt the presence of danger.  Slowly making our way though the forest, we stumbled upon a wooden hut. My love turned around and put a spell on my ears and mouth:

"Lingua, magic for understanding and speaking different dimensional languages."

We slowly approached the hut, but then, from all sides, threads began to appear, wrapping our arms, legs and bodies in general , not giving us any chance to react. And it was obvious that these were not ordinary threads. And then an old woman came out with gray hair and a terrible expression, but surprisingly tall. She spoke in her crackling voice:

"Fools! You have disturbed my peace and now, its time for pay,  will give you a choice, young handsome boy, I will take the beauty of you girlfriend or your life, its your choice."- And then she laughed madly.

She loosened the strings in my throat so that I could answer:

"Of course I would give my life." I said while holding darling's hand.

"Umbra"- I barely managed to say name of my sword before strings killed us. And we both vanished in the shadows. IN the shadow , she stopped me and said:

"I think this is my teacher and she trying to test us."

"You think?"- I asked trying to drive us as far as possible.

"She changed her appearance with magic, but I sense her energy."

"What kind of energy."- The old woman asked curiously from the shadow, right next to us. And sharply pulling us out of the shadow. We prepared our weapons and started to observe  her.

"Master, please stop this game, we are tired and have no power to fight you."- She said complainingly.

"On the war, there is no choice, kill or be killed, your only options"- She changed her appearance to a young stunning woman of above thirty wit black long hair, and even her clothes changed to a magician's cloak:

" so you finally brought your fiance, who is he, what does he do, is he a magician, how he was able to charm my little silly witch? And what is his name?"- She asked with a smirk.
