Chapter 2: Life Could be Much Worse

"Kaito?" 

"Huh?" Has she been talking to me for a while?

"Kaito, Um-I was-um-wondering if you would like to go see the cherry blossoms with me? " "Sure, why not?"

Her face brightened. "Really?! Let's go then!" She said, grabbing my hand. Great. Now I have to go see the cherry blossoms. Huh- that might be good though. I might see her, even though the chances of seeing her are 1 in a hundred

Her name is Eri and she was my first friend. It's been a while since I saw her. I met her on the playground 12 years ago. She was the only one who walked up to me and talked to me even though I was blind in one eye. She told me she didn't care about my eye and wanted to be my friend. Unfortunately, her parents told her not to see me again because I was blind. The last place we went together was to see the cherry blossoms. It was there I had my first kiss, even though it was only on the cheek it felt like the real deal. That was seven years ago. Then my family moved to the city to get my eyes fixed. I'd like to show her my eye now and show her that I'm no longer blind anymore. I really miss her.

"Kaito, we're here."

Huh? I didn't even notice.

"Don't the cherry blossoms look great this year?" asked Sara. "Yea, they do." I said walking forward. "Let's go to the middle." That was where I say Eri last.

I kinda regret coming here. There are a lot of families and kissing couples.... And I'm here with a girl that I can't even hold her hand.

"There are a lot of people here. Majority are couples." Sara said blushing. "Yea, they are." I said looking away. Huh, is that? 

"Eri?" I asked the person in front of me. She turned around.

"Kaito? Is that you?" She said giving me a hug. "It has been so long. I missed you."  

"I missed you too." I said blushing. Wow, her boobs are squeezing me.

"You've grown taller." Eri said. "Yea, you've grown bustier too."  "W-What??" Eri said slapping me. That brought me back to my senses. 

"S-Sorry. I didn't mean too. Are you hurt?" 

"Nope, sorry. I deserved it." I said rubbing my cheek. " Hey. Your eye. It isn't blind anymore." "Oh my eye. Yea I got surgery a few years ago." I said still rubbing my cheek. "Huh? Are you crying?" "I'm just so happy." Now I feel bad for making her cry.

After she wiped her tears 

"Are you okay now?" I asked. "Yea, I am. Umm, Kaito whose that behind you?" "Oh, Eri this is Sara. She works in the same store as me. Sara, This is Eri, my childhood best friend"

"Nice to meet you. I'm Eri"

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Sara"

What is this immense pressure I'm feeling right now?
