Light flashed: Zeus Wrath!

The goblin king appeared out of nowhere it roared viciously. Mourning for his fallen soldier/sons the whole terrain filled with holes as the other goblins make their way up digging a tunnel like system link to their colony underground.

Everyone on the adventurers side are shocked and surprise by the sudden apperance of the goblin king. The pro adventurer instinctively goes into a defense position given they are overwhelmed by the goblin kings and its army and gave orders.

Dray the knight gave an order he is the highest rank among their guildmens that is present he is a class d+ adventurer, and finish the knighthood training in zone b. He is part of the knights guild in the capital too.

Dray: everyone! Assume defense position melee and armored men at front archer and wizard at the back. You two newbies go all the way to back. Any second they will charge when they caught our scent.

Everyone: okay!

As he is speaking the goblins that near them caught their scent and rely the information to the goblin king by screeching loudly. The goblin king charges towards the group without any hesitation. Dray intercept the goblin king and parrying with the boss. Meanwhile the whole group focus on barraging attacks on hundreds of goblin charging them.

Kaito: damn we cant do anything i wish i have a range weapon now.

Akim: yeah i kinda want to help but sir dray gave orders. He even struggling to stall the goblin king if we disobey him we’re all in big trouble if our defense formation gets broken.

Horiz: dont worry if the situation gets worse you two just run away from here. *spear thrusting every goblin that came in his range*

Marie: yeah you guys are too young to die in here. You dont even have a girlfriend or experience yet i think. *chuckles* *while firing arrow after arrow on goblins head*

Gretaz: *sigh* i guess my story takes too long the i dont see this situation coming so this is how the goblin king reacts when we pile up tons of goblins.

Yaza: yeah this is an interesting data. *writes the situation in his booklet while stabbing goblins with his dagger*

When the first wave is dealt the immediately help and focus fire on the goblin king a very large target. Dray sustain bruises after bruises even he wear full armor with a shield. The sheer strength of the goblin king is enough to push back a class d+ adventurer like dray. Gretaz rush to help dray and rescue him gretaz dont have armor and shield he just exchange blows after blows with the goblin king. After a while of switching of the melee fighter theyre all gets tired the goblin keeps coming from the underground hole.

Eventually kaito and akim told to run off because the guildsmen will not last longer. They are overwhelmed and barely defending themselves the melee fighters are all weaken now by the wounds, cuts and bruises. They are all catching their breath but the goblin king is wounded too for that many arrows and elemental attack it goes into rage mode and starts smashing everyone around him even the goblins.

After watching all the chaos kaito and akim decide to stay and defend the guildsmen like how they defend them.

Kaito: i cant sleep at night knowing i ignore them while they can die in here.

Akim: yeah me too im not that coward type that will run off with a ladies in a dangerous situation.

Dray: these two fools being a hero will not get you far in the journey learn to retreat when the odds dont favor you.

Marie: I appreciate your heroism young man but you guys understand that you two can die here any moment. Look at the goblin king in rage mode 1 strike with that giant tree trunk can kill you guys instantly.

Kaito: yes we know that we’re already risking our lives everyday in zone c though. I wont run again from monsters every little decisions can make a difference too madame.

Akim: damn kaito dont hit on her.

Meanwhile dorobo witness all of this event and stalking them since they run off the caravan. He eavesdrop on the conversation with the guildsmen too.

Dorobo: *sigh* these fools i already saw this kaito in the hospital with his friend what a touchy story. Looks like imma became a good samaritan all of the sudden.

When Dorobo put on his disguise mask and about to jump on the tree he’s hiding. He heard “zues wrath” the battlefield suddenly flashed with a bright light followed by a loud thunder clap. The ground shakes and a thunder shockwave echoes in the battlefield. The guild leader zarki arrives all the goblin get electrocuted around 200 meters in diameter. Zarki rushes to the battle field when he hears the activity underground going to the direction of his guildsmen but apparently they are too far.

They rushes to the scene his two other member jana and kum they immediately hacks and slice all the goblin near their wounded member. Zarki proceeds to charge on the goblin king with his lightning embedded sword he zip fast and cut the goblin king like butter. Leaving only the mats the cut is so clean that it didn’t even spurt blood.

The two young adventurer drops on they’re knees after witnessing it. They know they will die on this day but they cant believe they survived. Zarki then contact the capital emergency unit that can only use by the guild masters. He whistle after a moment a messenger vulture that lurking the skies of the kingdom waiting for a meal rushes and came down to the scene.

Messenger vulture: a messaging system develop by the tamers guild they capitalize of the vultures ability to smell flesh from a far distance and always hovering on a dead whether its animal, monster and humans. In a world full of monster that killing and each other is normal vultures thrive and wait for their turn to eat. They are the predator of the skies but not aggressive human begin to tame them and use as messenger. They are train my the tamers guild that always comeback to the capital tamers guild outpost.

Dorobo: what a display of power so that’s the guild master capable huh. I would like to rob them while their weak and just leave quick but i guess its a plan for another day. *laughs and walks away*

~While they are waiting for the rescue squad from the capital.

Zarki: *looks at the two young adventurer* hmm i dont remember recruit you two. *laughs*

Kaito: *catching his breath* we just want to watch your guildsmen use magic sir we’re from the caravan that is heading to the capital. I dont expect our little detour and sightseeing will turn out a near death experience.

Akim: *exhausted* yeah sir to be honest i just want to look closely how beautiful and bountiful marie-san is.

Zarki: *laughs* you guys are pretty lively for what you just experienced. Seems like you defend my guildsmen in my place even it will cost you your lives what a brave young adventurers. Thank you for doing that dont worry i will reward you guys after we reach the capital.

Akim: yes sir! Do you have some information you can share with us about how can we find it. Because we’re from zone c and dont even know whats the capital city looks like yet.

*The guildsmen are laying down just overhearing the conversations while kum applying first aid to them*

Dorobo came back after witnessing the guild master stays and chat with the newbies. He dont want to miss the information that kaito and akim can obtain on the guild master. He just hide behind the nearest tree.

Zarki: hmm what a straightforward question akim *laughs* since you two protect and cared for my guildsmen i will just give you a hint. Around the time that the magic school is assumed to be “open” theres an “old wise hermit” appearing on the capital hills that oversee the capital. You can ask him any question but only one time.

Kaito: *surprised* woah really any question? I cant sleep tonight just thinking about what i just witness here and thinking about the question i should ask. *thrilled*

While they are talking the jana and kum already finish harvesting the monsters.

Kaito: zarki-san am I hallucinating or miss jana are moving so fast while she is harvesting the monster?

Akim: *talk to himself* *surprised* thats why i cant keep up with her boobs that must be a very interesting magic.

Kaito: *surprised* superhuman magic huh i wonder what magic type i have. I want to go to the magic school right now.
