Chapter 20

Ken: “--Respectfully speak to you, my God that can break through anything, lead me from the precious heaven. Give my petty body the divine power of your grand body. Rescue them the light of purification, the lance of crushing evil. Sweep sword of suppression, the sacred lance of conquest. It arrives here now with my order. Descend from heaven, rule the earth--”

Defending was not easy for the group in this situation but it went well, and when the spell activated a lance made of pure white energy descended from the heavens and pinned the yeti.

When this happened Ken smirked and and put on a triumphant smile.

They began to struggle and almost got out of the high gravity zone but Ken enhanced it once again.

Ken: “Mika, Ria prepare the buff—” He was interrupted by the scream of the yeti and it let out a huge beam. That went towards Ken but he was unable to move because he needed to maintain the gravity pressure on the Yeti.

Elijah: He immediately blocked that with his shield. “Ken continue your plan.”

Ken: “Ok. Ria Mika ready the buffs and enchant us.”

Ria and Mika: “--Grow. That power and that vessel. The breadth of wealth and breadth of wishes. Until the bell tolls, bring forth glory and illusion. -Grow. Confine divine offerings within this body. The Darkness bestowed from above. Into the hammer and the ground, may it bestow good fortune upon my allies.--” The buff immediately activated and immediately doubled the power of Elijah, Ken, Jackson, and Lilly.

Lilly: Summons four undead soldiers to hold the yeti.

The undead creatures each stab a sword through the limbs of the yeti to prevent it from escaping.

Ken: Increases the force of gravity zone due to being buffed and the yeti falls flat to the ground but it gets back in a kneeling position by struggling.

Jackson: “--In the sky of a now distant forest of a million lands. Infinite stars scattered in the endless night sky. Respond to the foolish voice of this child of yours, give me now divine protection of endless and vast darkness. Give the mercy of night and darkness to the one who has not abandoned you. Come, wandering wind, the vagabond traveler. Cross the sky and run through the wilderness, run faster than anything else. Imbue the darkness of nothingness and destroy my enemy by cutting a million times.-- ‘Endless Dark Wind Blades’.”

Elijah: “--Run wild, darkness. Devour the light in night's peace. Your envoy beseeches you, Shade. Incarnate of darkness. Queen of shadows. ‘Dark Roar’--” A dark roar emanated from the mouth of Elijah in the form of a dark cloud and it started to disintegrate the body of Yeti slowly.

The Yeti screamed in agony but it could not escape and to end its agony Marcus made his first and last move in this entire ordeal.

Marcus: “--Crushing Earth Dome--”

An enormous dome of earth covered the Yeti and started crushing it. Marcus applied more force and completely buried it in the ground successfully killing it.

After that Ken released his gravity zone and instantly fell to his knees coughing up blood and that is when Jackson went unconscious due to using a high-level spell.

That is when they saw a portal open and out came Jin Kizaraki himself eating a chocolate and when Ken saw Jin he was angry beyond belief.

Ken: He started to speak but he coughed up blood. “How...How dare you, you basta**d.”

Jin: “What did I even do?”

Ken: “You bast**d you are eating a d*mn five-star chocolate and letting us suffer.”

Jin: “Well as old people say eat five-star chocolate and do nothing.”

Ken: “You.. I just wish to kill you so bad right now.”

Jin: “Just why are you so angry just eat five star.” Jin throws a five-star chocolate towards Ken which he immediately caught it and “Remember this I won’t forgive you just because you gave me a five-star.”

Ken: “Ok Ok I understand Anyway let’s get going, I am sure you don’t want to stay here any longer do you?”

Jin: “OK let’s get going.”

Everyone except Jin: “OK.”

They all passed through the portal and they were met with the sight of Raphtalia cooking a hot soup. They all went to her and asked–

Elijah: “Raphtalia, is the soup cooked.” He asked in an unusually enthusiastic way and his eyes were bizarre.

Raphtalia: She was startled by this behavior from Elijah as he was a very calm and collected person.

Elijah: Seeing her startled his face became apologetic and he said “I am sorry for acting that way, We just faced off against a huge threat thanks to a certain crow and we were only allowed to eat cold food which tasted bad all due to that stupid crow.” He turned his towards Jin and stared at him with hate.

Jin: “Now.. Now Elijah you are to be the calm collected leader of the group.”

Elijah: “Well this has been mentally taxing for all of us.”

Jin: “So any of you know why did I do this?”

Ken: “Well I think it is for us to awaken our dormant abilities.”

Jin: “That is certainly a reason but there is another main reason.”

Marcus: “Then what is the damn reason for you to do this. We all almost died.”

Jin: “Well that is the reason I did this.”

Everyone except Jin and Raphtalia: “What do you mean?”

Jin: “Well the thing is that you all had it easy until now. What I am trying to say is that you guys had it too easy and it made you somewhat complacent or if you are not yet you might become complacent in the future.”

Marcus: “So you mean you almost had us die because of your suspicion.”

Jin: “Yes. You need to experience fear of death in a controlled environment now rather than a battlefield in an unpredictable environment. Also as I said you guys had a lot of easy time with your opponents but from here it will be a tough path from here and remember that the church is not your main enemy but it is Pudahu and his army and trust me they are very strong.”

Everyone except Jin: “I understand.”

Marcus: “Sorry for getting angry at you.”

Jin: “It’s OK. Diore was more short-tempered than you at your age.”

Ken: “Wait really? He always seemed like a cold but somewhat caring person.”

Jin: “Yes at first he was kind of hard to deal with but over time as we spent more time together and went on a lot of adventures he opened up to me.”

Ken: “Oh.”

Jin: “Well so what I mean is everyone has their issues at this age so there is nothing to worry about.”

Marcus: “OK man.”

Raphatalia: called out to everyone and said “Guys food is ready come and eat dinner.”

After these words left her mouth all of them except Jin went extremely fast.

They all started to eat their food and they were not disturbed and after some time they started to speak with each other after some time.

Jin: “So where are you going next before going to meet with Dark Elves.”

Elijah: “Well we are going to the city of Tinopar. Well, the Head Paladin said that they are also a neutral church and it is kind of autonomous and we may have a chance of having their support.”

Jin: “Yes it is good to increase your allies as there might be a huge war.”

Elijah: “Where do we need to go to find the Dark Elves.”

Jin: “You need to go west from here to find WhiteAngel Woodlands and go into the forest and send out a huge wave of dark energy and they will come to find you.”

Elijah: “I see. I understand we will do that.”
