The divine light that illuminates the surface of the Planet, one of the precious child along Susanoo-No-Mikoto and Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto.

She's currently sitting infront of me.

eh? huh? what? what's happening? how did my first day in school lead me to meeting literal Gods which I never even believed that exist before.

It's rather ironic how I boldly denied their existence before but now I am prostrating myself before one out of instinct.

My body won't even move, all i know is that I must respect her all I can.

I can feel her gaze like it's stabbing me.

" What's this? Kaguya " the goddess in throne spoke.

The girl besides me bows down as well, showing her genuine respect.

" Yes, Our Goddess, I have brought this man that i believe to possess an open Third Eye "

Her words carried pure respect and her statement would seem to have piqued the interest of the Goddess.

" Really? After a long time, is there finally one? " The Goddess is delighted by this news, i wonder why?

The delighted Goddess also has loosened her tenseness thus reducing the radiance she was oozing, I am now able to gaze upon her form.

Long black hair with Orange Gradient, flaming yellow orange colored eyes and she also wears a kimono with color combination of orange, yellow and white. she's also holding a fan shaped like the setting sun and possess a halo with many spikes symbolizing the sun rays.

just like how Kaguya herself possess a halo of a crimson crescent moon.

truly the essence of the sun.

" You may speak my beloved human, i shall answer any question you have "

The smiling goddess gave me an opportunity to speak with her.

but I only have one question.

" What's exactly special about Third Eye? "

The goddess didn't expect this question, she was expecting greedy questions relating to money, lottery and etc. given the nature of the modern man.

but she would answer the question happily.

" Your Third Eye? let's see. "

" Opening the Third Eye would mean that one's inner energy has been unlocked as well, in comparison, let's see, it's similar to the concept of coiled serpent. in shorter terms, you're in the peak of what a human can achieve, a being that of mortal and mystics "

she explained what's exactly the third eye does, such as enabling one to not only see Phantasms but also Interact with it as they naturally would be a Phantasm now too.

naturally, all humans would possess a third eye, unfortunately they just don't open it.

they're unable to.

I wonder what sparked mine to open.

apparently, the ones closest to opening their third eye are the famous monks but they usually die before they are able to fully tap on it.

Third Eye is valued among Gods through different pantheons and even among ancient humans when they knew of it.

The word blessed by gods originated from this.

according to the Goddess There are other type of Phantasms that has been rampaging other than Lurkers such as Nightcalls and Ayakishi.

What they fear the most is if something like Yamata no Orochi or the Nine Tailed Kitsune returning and rampaging in the Material World.

each of them having the power to devour the Stars and destroy the World.

" But what would be my purpose with it?— "

oops, I'm thinking out loud.

" You remember the Lurker that attacked you, yes? "

I nodded, of course I do, that was one of the scariest situation I've ever experienced, even thinking about it right now turns my legs to jelly.

" I believe Kaguya there has already explained those to you, so I will get straight to what I wanna say "

" Lurkers are phantasms that shouldn't even be able to influence the material world, let alone attack people. "

I see, so that one was indeed an anomaly.

" But recently, the amount of Phantasms interacting with the Material World has increased, wreaking havoc everywhere for the last hundreds of years. "

" It's just like us Gods losing our influence over the Material world as time goes due to the dependence of man. "

" The higher order has prevented us from interfering, along other worlds but we still govern the aspects of reality we embody, we can't just interact with the Material directly. "

Higher order? you mean there's something above even the revered Gods?

" The same should apply to the Lurkers. but they have been able to influence the Material, what's even worse is that even us can't interact with the Phantasms gaining power on the Material now, it's like as if they're becoming material themselves. "

so that's what's going on here. then I'm guessing, the reason they have been waiting for an Open Third eye must be...

" That's why i sent Kaguya here, as one who's Half Phantasm and Half Material herself, she's able to eliminate the rampage of these creatures. "

" And for that reason, why we need of your existence, as one who has become Half Phantasmal yourself. "

I knew it.

but how? I don't know how to fight those things.

" Usually, I would be able to burn everything away completely from existence, but as you can see i am unable to do it now. "

" There's also one more thing, we still don't know what's exactly causing them to act like this, it's a mystery "

The Goddess then continued to explain more things to me.

The conversation went for some time.

Refusal is not an option here huh, i really wanna refuse this.

I don't want to throw myself into problems like this.

" I'm sure you'll be able to handle this, right? " the goddess asked.

Her eyes are full of hopes, it pains me to betray those.

" I'm sorry, please find someone else to take my place... "

It took me all my courage to let these words out.

The goddess seems displeased, no, she looks dismayed, like a child when they learn that santa is not real. to her, my response was unbelievable, unreal.

" W-what...? " said the shocked goddess.

why am i backing down now? even though I used to dream of something like this before.

Why is it that now I have the opportunity to grasp that dream, my entirety rejects it.

Is this fear I'm feeling? i don't want to play hero.

Silence fell, all that's left is me, Kaguya and the Sun Goddess looking down.

This is the type of silence that's almost unbreakable.

None of us would say a single word, The Sun Goddess is still in disbelief.

ahh, I've done it now.

I just hope that they don't execute me or anything.

that would make my refusal useless.

The silence kept on going.

" Let me join your conversation too "

a loud bang echoed through the room.

The gates opened. the silence was shattered by lightning.

a mysterious figure entered to join our conversation.

" Takemikazuchi? " The Sun Goddess surprised by the Thunder God's interference.

He has a form of a warrior, he carries two swords at his back, one in his left and right torso and possess a halo that symbolises Thunder and Lightning, he also is known as the Sword God.

His hair is really long and tied like on a pony tail manner.

" Pardon my intrusion, I am here because I couldn't stand the silence " The God said.

he approached me directly, It seems his business is with me.

" I came here because i sensed something interesting, what a dissapointment this is. "

The Thunder God struck me with his words like Lightning.

" Kid, why do you refuse? " he asked me.

I am left speechless. i could only avert my eyes.

Boy, he looks really pissed.

" Look into my eyes, why do you refuse? "

The God insisted for my answer.

his words felt absolute and my eyes just locked with his on it's own.

this pressure is too much. i feel like a kid trying to hide from loud thunder.

" People are dying because of this situation, and when you're given an opportunity to stop those incidents, you're refusing it? what a coward you are. pathetic. "

He just straight up called me a coward.

" N-no thats... "

I couldn't say anything back, it's true, I am scared.

If I only could, I want to everything that happened today.

" Why did you even bring a guy like this? of all people to open the eye, it's this guy? "

The God started mocking me.

I can't really blame him though, I'm pathetic.

i can't even find a single word to say.

The God seems to be really pissed off at me.

His eyes locked with mine, I can feel an intense pressure building up arround him.

His eyes penetrated my soul, all my strength left my body putting me down to my knees.

I started coughing and grasping for air.

" That's enough. " said the Sun Goddess in her attempt to stop the God from doing something to me.

what was that? it felt like my spirit was being strangled.

i started panicking, my breathing kept on getting faster each exhale until dizziness filled my head.

I feel like I'm drowning—!

I can feel my heart beating really fast as if it's going to explode.

each beat hurts.

Then i felt a hand touch my back, it's the same small hands that held my wrist.

" It's okay, if you don't want to be a part of this. " The Crimson Moon Goddess spoke.

" It's natural to be afraid, I will do my best to handle all of it myself. "

really, now a girl is trying to cheer me up out of my miserable self.

I tried standing up, but my legs were trembling.

i can't even see properly, my sight looks hazy.

Sweat has been pouring off my skin before I could realize it.

I looked at Kaguya who was trying to ease me.

I looked at her eyes.

How can she even be concerned at someone like me? we barely know each other.

We've only known each other for a day, a day!

but then those eyes. it makes me want to stand up.

It's like the fog in my mind has been cleared.

My breathing started to become more stable, thus calming my heartbeat.

There stands the girl I admire, do I really want to show her my pathetic side?

The Thunder God awaits for clarification.

I am cornered.

" FINE! I WILL DO IT! " I let out all the pressure built within my chest.

The Sun Goddess was relieved by my answer.

She has been waiting for a long time after all.

Her wait will be put into an end now.

" Heh. " The Thunder God laughed, but not out of mockery, but as a respect to my acceptance.

I did accept it, but I still don't know what exactly I can, or should do.

where do I even begin in the first place?

" I'm glad to have you with us " Said the Sun Goddess.

Yeah, that smile fits her better than the face she made earlier.

" Yes, i will be a part of this, but how exactly i would help? as you can see I'm powerless "

That's true as well, I am unable to do anything.

Even earlier, all i could do was run. run for my life.

It would be weird if they took me in just for me to be useless and powerless.

" You underestimate yourself and you lack confidence, what did i tell you earlier regarding your status? You're the pinnacle of what Man can achieve. "

she did mention that earlier.

" You see, lurkers can run way faster than sound, they can even dodge and outrun lightning, and you kept up with it "

" Of course, the faster you are the slower things are in your perspective, it's an impressive feat. "

i looked at Kaguya, at her Divine Treasure to be precise.

" What about Kaguya's Divine Treasure? it looked like it happened instantly "

" Oh that? that's simply because her Divine Treasure covers any distance without time needed, it's a Divine Treasure able to virtually penetrate anything "

" Wouldn't that violate the laws? nothing should be faster than light right? "

My question caught the Goddess's interest.

" No, We are Phantasms, we don't obey the laws of physics, there are no paradoxes to us. "

i figured, Gods are the laws so why would they obey it?

" Anyway, You just need to learn about it now, harnessing energy that's it, it shouldn't be so hard for you "

The God Takemikazuchi's previously dissapointed face has calmed down.

he looks like he enjoys listening to the conversation.

" And don't get so tensed, you'll carry our blessing in your journey " said Takemikazuchi.

As a half Material and half Phantasmal, i am able to recieve divine blessings and utilize them for myself, according to Kaguya that's it.

Goddess Amaterasu and God Takemikazuchi has agreed to bless me.

According to the Sun Goddess, her blessing should allow me to illuminate any darkness from my eyes and manipulate anything heat and flame related.

and According to the Thunder God, it will be my reflexes, reaction and agility that will be boosted by his blessing.

what do i say... i feel honored?

by utilizing my inner energy, i am able to manifest the usage of these blessings.

" but what else can i do? " i asked.

" You don't know that either? " Kaguya asked.

i just nodded.

" Utilizing one's energy allows them to perform sacred arts as well such as Producing Elements, alter one's appearance on a biological level and essentially be able to gain eternal life as long one wishes to. "

eternal life....???????

Eternal Life, as the name suggests is the ability to live for eternity, the thing humanity has been chasing for millennia, one of the most famous person who chased after this is the Emperor of China Qin Shi Huang, who died from that attempt as well.

what in the world am I going to do with this.

and the other thing, Sacred Arts caught my attention as well.

" So, it's basically magic? " I asked.

The Sun Goddess sitting stood up to approach me.

Whoa, even the way she walks is elegant.

She slowly approached me, I knew I shouldn't move.

She raised her hand and put her it on my head, a head pat huh.

" I'm counting on you " said the Goddess as she smiled gently.

Afterwards, The Sun Goddess invited me to stay for a small feast to welcome me in the house.

Apparently I am now officially a Servant of Heaven.

The Sun Goddess, Lady Amaterasu she insisted on me to call her is a really nice and gentle as a person.

Lord Takemikazuchi is the type of proud man that can get really frank but gets along with anyone.

And here sitting besides me the person of my heart.

It's difficult to concentrate with her really close to me you know.

I feel like my head will go blank anytime.

Yes, even worse than what Lord Takemikazuchi did to me earlier!

We sat there for an hour.

The food here is really good, and one thing i just found out today.

Gods loves good food.

Lady Amaterasu told me that whenever someone makes an offering for her, she's really delighted by it.

Manmade food is what she likes she said.

I guess she really loves her people like a mother.

Speaking of mothers, I have one too back at home I have no idea what to tell regarding the incident in school.

I'm hoping she doesn't get mad.

I'm also worried about my school life.

but the school has been completely demolished, do i have to transfer again? it must be really late already.

What do I say to my family, i can't just tell them that i have been caught up with unbelievable things.

Hikari's Imagination:

Hikari brushed off his imaginations.

The Goddess has high expectations on him.

" By the way, Takemikazuchi, how did you know of our silence, our conversation, were you eavesdropping? " Lady Amaterasu asked.

The Thunder God was taken aback by her question.

" I have forgotten i have something to do, farewe— " Takemikazuchi attempted to escape but was held down by Amaterasu.

" Eavesdropping is not good you know? " Said Amaterasu in a strangely monotonous manner.

" Aa—! "

The rest of story went with Hikari talking about himself which entertained the Gods with him.
