Tamamo-no-Mae 2

To The Moon and Back.

Hey, hey, wake up.

I can feel someone slapping me.

wake up!

I opened my eyes from the noise.

the sun rays streaming from my window illuminated my eyes.

It's morning.

" Good morning! " Kaguya greeted.

Oh right, she's with me now.

Remind me again how did things come to this, sigh.

" Good morning " I greeted back.

She's already changed, where does her clothes even come from?

" Hey, where do you even get your clothes? " I asked.

" My clothes? i created them myself and I can change them whenever I want to with a thought. "

She looks serious.

Really?

" Anyway, get up already! remember; I will teach you how to utilize your own strength "

Yeah, that's right. we talked about this last night at the feast.

Today is a good day since I won't be going to school until tomorrow.

" Alright, I'll get ready, wait for me. "

As usual, I completed my morning routine.

I went down the stairs, greeted my family a good morning, washed my face and brushed my teeth after eating breakfast.

I told them that I'll be going somewhere with Kaguya, which of course, I recieved some unwanted feedbacks, they thought we would be going on a date or something, it's not even like that.

I would like it though.

I told Kaguya to wait for me outside, I'll head her to a place where no one can see us to proceed with our thing.

No, it's not like that.

It's just a few minutes of walk.

We had some small conversation as we walked out of interest and to not get bored.

I lead the conversation and went in first.

" Say, what are you even doing in a school, and what's your Elder sister is going to say about this? "

Ms. Fujimura, our teacher introduced her to be her little sister so.

" Oh that, that Fujimura woman is not really my sister, I just controlled her mind so that I'd be able to enter the school, and for that part, the reason why I entered is: I was anticipating that Lurker. "

Kaguya cleared all the thoughts I've been drowning with in one go.

Hmmm, that's a pretty simple reason and mind control again? really.

I guess it's really convenient for her.

We talked about few more things while walking until we arrived at our destination.

This is a forest i found while walking around when we just moved here.

In the middle of it, there's a wide field where you can run around, this is a nice spot.

and here we've arrived in that spot.

The chirping of the birds is really pleasant followed by the shaking of the trees and the gentle winds.

" So, what exactly are you going to teach me? " I asked.

i know of the fact that it's utilizing my own energy but in what way exactly?

" Watch this closely "

She asked for my attention, which of course I gave.

What is she going to do?

" Hah! "

She snapped her finger and a flash of light appeared.

A flame shaped like a heart brusted from her chest and started burning around and changing it's form following Kaguya's hand movement like it's dancing with her.

She could freely alter it's form and even change it's color in which she turned into a flaming blue dragon.

The light the flame emitted was gentle but the flame itself has the power of 10 raging volcanoes.

The dancing blue dragon flame was then sent by Kaguya up above the sky and it exploded like fireworks.

It looked beautiful.

Even though it was day, the explosion was clearly visible.

It would even put Fireworks Festivals to shame, that i can confirm.

" I can do this too? " i asked in awe.

" Of course, to be honest everyone can, they just don't do it "

" As you see, there are factors to achieve the results "

She started mentioning what factors are necessary in order to achieve this.

1. Aptitude, it's something obvious, you must have an aptitude for it.

2. Desire, you can't manifest anything if you do not wish for it.

3. Strong Mind, one must have a strong mentality to be able to manifest them.

4. Belief, if you truly believe you can do it, you will.

unfortunately this is the one and most important factor people today do not posses.

After all, these are nothing but fantasy to them now.

and what about those delusional people? the chuunibyou people specifically.

apparently, it's because deep down, they simply believe that it's actually not real but their conscious mind do not go with it.

making their belief of supernatural a mere facade.

However, now that I've witnessed it for myself, of course i believe on it.

" You must be able to clearly visualize what you want to manifest, after all you're literally bending the Laws of Nature and Reality itself in order to do it. and once you are able to, you'll get used to it until you'll be able to do it on a whim. " said Kaguya.

" Give it a try, first try closing your eyes and image it. " Kaguya advised.

Alright, I'll give it a try.

I put on my stance, i raised my right hand up above my head and opened my palm facing towards the sky.

I closed my eyes and tried to empty my mind as much as I can.

Flame, Scroching Flames, Raging Heat, Spiraling Flames.

I put all of it to that.

" Don't just visualize it! imagine your heart as a fuel giving power to it too! "

okay.

I kept on visualizing the flame, my heart, all energy i have within me—!

all into my hands.

After all this, a surge of spiraling flames towered from my hand towards the sky.

At first it was different pillars of flames rotating together until it joined forming what looked like a tornado of flames.

now what do i do with this?

i want to make it more stronger.

i kept on visualizing it, altering it's form.

compressing like many razor blades rotating on each other on different directions.

keep on compressing it, until it flattens.

The spiraling flame obeyed what i wanted and started compressing itself.

It was no longer recognizable as a flame, it's more like a spinning disc of immense energy, it looks like a spiraling galaxy.

the heat from it was too much it started burning the dried leaves from where i stood.

I then got ready to release it towards the skies and try to make it explode.

" don't—! " Kaguya stopped me before i could.

why is that?

" Just absorb it back to yourself, that's right, imagine your hand like a vacuum and absorb it back. "

What's with the sudden? whatever, I'll do it.

I did as Kaguya said and the spinning disc of flame disappeared.

Surprisingly, absorbing is much more easier than manifesting it.

" Impressive, you got through the basics easily.

Perhaps your Third Eye indeed helped you. "

Wait, that's all?

" At this case, you can handle it now, just remember what I told you, the same should apply with whatever element you wish to manifest. "

So that's all of it really.

and whoa, that got me thirsty.

I should buy something to drink.

" I see, thanks for teaching me this. "

" Don't mind it, don't mind it, it was all your power that made it possible "

Huh, she seems more humble than I thought.

" Anyway, I'm going to buy some drink, wanna come? my treat. " I said.

Those words seems to have piqued Kaguya's interest.

" Really? " Said Kaguya.

Oh, she seems excited about it. it's nice that I brought it up then.

" Of course, let's go. "

We left the place and headed for the closest convenience store.

What do I say about this, things really went so fast.

I was expecting something more of a harsh training and stuffs.

We didn't even last more than 10 minutes there.

But it went well so that's alright I guess.

And we're back in the town. the sound of vehicles filled the place.

The convenience store is really near so we don't have to walk that much.

And here we are.

The two of us entered the Store, I immediately head for where the drinks are.

And for Kaguya...

Kaguya is calmly browsing to see what she would like to have.

as for the drink, she told me anything is fine as long as it's Tea.

She's really into this huh?

I told her it's my treat anyway so I'll let her pick anything she wants.

I mean, what kind of man would invite a girl just to let her pay for the things she took and i will pay for mine only?

I took 2 bottles of a Honey Lemon Tea.

I met with Kaguya on the cashier.

As for what she took.

Hmm, 5 different types of Dark Chocolate and 3 packs of Marshmallows?

She have a sweet tooth, huh.

Will happily pay for them!

I paid all the things we bought and left the store.

I handed her the bottle of drink i bought, she did say anything as long as it's tea but I'm not really sure if she will like this.

She opened the bottle and lifted her hand putting it on her mouth as the liquid poured out.

" What's this? it's really good! " Her eyes lit up upon drinking it.

I'm glad she likes it.

" It's a Honey Lemon flavored Tea " i answered her question.

Her interest sparked up and she inspected the bottle.

" So there are things like this, I didn't know. "

She looked closely and read everything in the bottle.

She must've never gone to places like this, huh.

As we spoke to each other, something caught Kaguya's eyes.

" What's that there? " she handed me her drink and left immediately to check on what she saw outside.

It seems she's approaching a cosplayer? cosplaying a fox girl outside.

Does she like cosplayers?

i followed her step and left the spot as well carrying all the things we bought.

" Hey, if you're into cosplayers, don't just run off that fast "

" Wrong! that's no cosplayer! "

What does she mean? that's clearly one— whoa whoa whoa! is her tail moving?!

The woman I thought to be a cosplayer just moved her Fox Tail.

" What the hell?! " Another day, another shock.

" I think that's the Fox Spirit that's been sealed long ago, this is bad, if she broke out then she has the opportunity to regain her power and wreak havoc. "

I understood Kaguya's worry, last year i read in the net, a certain rock where a Fox Spirit was embedded within has cracked open.

could this be...

Kaguya and I followed the Fox Woman silently to see where she would go.

Strangely she hasn't noticed us at all.

We tailed her until we arrived in an abandoned building...?

Oh boy, I have a not so good feeling about this.

The Fox Woman turned around looking right at the spot we're hiding in.

The two of us tried to keep quiet as we can but it did no good.

" You people over there, reveal yourself. "

She knew we were following her and purposely lead us here? that's one sly fox over there, no pun intended.

I'm the first one to make a move, I revealed myself before the Fox Woman.

Immediately, her reaction shifted, she seems displeased.

" You reek of a Onmyouji. " said the Fox Woman in an angry tone.

She means me, huh.

Perhaps because of my newly awakened Eye.

My senses are telling me to not mess this one, she's still a figure from a legend after all.

" Did you come here to die? " asked the angry fox woman.

of course not, i almost died yesterday! why would i jump on one again?!

" No, not really. " i responded.

" Your opinion holds no value to me, you will not get out of here alive. "

Uwaa, she really hates me that bad.

" So you want to fight and kill him that bad? "

Kaguya came out from the hiding as well and interfered, does she have some type of plan?

I'll go with that then.

" Why not? with no hesitation she answered.

" I just want to vent my anger on one, this one is the perfect person for it, with that scent. "

Her answer just delighted Kaguya, i wonder what she's thinking of.

" Very well then, this man here is our servant, if you want him, you'll have to come terms with our condition. " there she goes!

Kaguya is planning on taking advantage of the Fox Woman's anger to achieve something.

" Sure, whatever, I'll agree whatever it is. " She holds no second thoughts.

" Then, you may kill him "

Yes, she may kill me—! HELL NO!

M-my princess, what's on your mind?!

" But if you lose, you'll have to serve him. "

What a bold condition.

" Hahahaha! Your lost then! "

She must be really confident.

The Fox Woman overflowing with confident made her move as soon as she agreed.

She plans on going for the kill, i can feel all her killing intent directed towards be fueled by rage.

Hmmm.

Huh? isn't she a bit slow?

The Fox Woman was so slow it feels like a turtle or a snail is running towards me.

The Fox Woman's killing blow is by utilizing her sharp and sturdy claws she transformed from her normal human hand.

I made my move as well.

I tightly held her approaching wrist the moment it was close enough and used her own momentum to pin her down.

I held on her arm tightly as she lies pinned down with my left foot on her back.

One wrong move and I can dislocate amd even break her arm.

That was surprisingly easy.

I then visualized my hand to be filled with raging lightning which manifested after converting my energy to it.

My hand is currently a deadly razor sharp blade, I pointed my hand to the Fox Woman's nape threatening her life with it.

The Fox Woman screams from the pain of her arm being pulled to her back.

" Ooooh, impressive " The impressed Kaguya let a few claps out.

" I used to do martial arts after all, black belt on top of that, unfortunately i had to stop it after my Father died. "

The Fox Woman keeps on complaining about the pain.

" That hurts—!!!!! " she kept repeating.

But I will not let go until she admits defeat.

" Do you give up? or do I break your arm? maybe even behead you here now. "

My words pierced through her pride like it was butter.

The Fox Woman was ready to give up.

" I give up! i give up! okay? it's my lose! " Her desperation to be released came.

but i will not let go.

" hmmm. " i just hummed.

" Ahhh!!!! stop that already! i give up! please spare me! " there. the word I've been waiting for is "spare me"

That's when i let go.

The Fox Woman was relieved the moment i let go and prostrated herself as she apologized.

" I'm sorry for threatening you! "

What a surprise, i was sure she would attack me the moment i let go.

Kaguya approached me and leaned herself towards my ears.

" Beast Type Phantasms like her are really prideful but they would have great respect to anyone who has defeated them in a fair fight. Furthermore she hasn't realized her full strength is yet to return. " Kaguya whispered.

So that's her game, huh.

" So she won't betray her words? " i whisperered back.

" No, they hold pride on their agreements as well, the perfect situation. "

She's more of the sly fox here than the fox herself!

i cleared my throat.

" Ahem, well then, raise your head. " i acted along Kaguya's scheme in order to be her master.

" Y-yes! " The Fox Woman raised her head as soon as i told her.

What Kaguya said seems to be true.

Hehehehe, I've always dreamed of a Fox Girl Servant.

I'll take this gladly!

" From now on, I am your master! you may call me boss. "
