After finding the lost earring, we found out that we were the ones who lost this time. Being in the middle of the forest, we didn't know the way back.

Normally, we should just follow the path. However, with the rain changing the contours of the land, the lines of the trail became blurred. We don't know whether we should go left, right, or straight.

I tried to call for help but there was no signal. With lighting only from the phone, we cannot see far ahead.

We tried to get down but only strayed further into the unknown. To make it worse, we are constantly rained on. Even though it's summer, being in the middle of a storm for such a long time will give us a cold.

With the temperature dropping, my body began to shiver with cold. Not only me, but I could see Chizuru-san shivering nonstop.

"For now, let's find a place to take shelter."

After searching, we found a cave. Technically this is not a cave, but a grotto considering how small it is. But at least it's better than nothing.

Even though we were out of the rain, we still felt cold. Since we got soaked wet, it's impossible for our body temperature to rise instantly.
