Inquisitive, Shourya queries the old man about the situation. The old man begins to recount a mythic tale: When God came into existence, he created seven realms and 1000 Keepers for each realm. Fueled by greed, the Keepers sought human souls for power, defying God's curse against killing humans. The curse led them to create monsters, which they believed would provide the souls they craved. Enraged, God forged a realm protector, Rengoku, who transformed the monsters into humans. The Keepers, however, sought to vanquish Rengoku. A battle ensued, resulting in the deaths of 997 Keepers, leaving only Moris, Gekko, and Harbour standing. They possessed the Elder Sword, a weapon of equal power to God's. The battle wounded Rengoku, who fell to Earth, splitting into three human forms: Elder Vivaan, Vedha, and Advait. These three emerged as protectors of Earth, capable of thwarting the Keepers.Three thousand years ago, they granted the dying director immortality, forming a covert government to protect humans from monsters.
