I saved Li.. 'the girl' by pure luck, the goblins were distracted by something and they went to deal with that. So I was able to sneak in and save her.)

I almost said lily's name to Philia san.

That would have been a huge mistake because that would raise suspicion as to how I knew that since she was unconscious the whole time.

I don't know if scan skill exist here so if I told them that, they might not believe me and become suspicious so it was better not to say anything unnecessary.

After that Philia san asked about details of where the goblins were and how I saved Lily.

I answered her in best way I could without telling lie and at the same time not exposing myself too much.

I also told her about the goblin settlement and their leader.

After that I told them about other monsters I saw there.

Listening to that, they both were somewhat convinced but still could not believe that I was able to pull that off.

At last I decided to ask something.

(Ummm....Philia San, about the entry fees of town and the girl's treatment fees, How much should I pay?)

Listening to my question, Philia san was a little sad.

Was she the caring onee san type who liked to spoil children?

Saying that Philia san got up, discussed something with Robert san and went away.

Robert san also got up and gestured me to follow him.

I was then taken to a small room that had double bunk bed, a small table chair and a small window with iron bars that was closed with wooden covers.

Drinking water was also available in the room so I quenched my thirst.

The room also had a small attached toilet.

The toilet was squatting style and it had proper flush system and drainage.

Thank god, seems like atleast the toilet technology is decent enough in this world.

There was no bath though. I really wanted to wash my dirty body and clothes.

Especially since I have dirt and blood of goblins.

Thinking how smelly and dirty I was, I was embarrassed to think, what Philia san and others might have thought of me.

After I went inside the room, I heard the sound of locking from outside.

Bewildered I tried to open the door but it was really locked from outside.

It seemed that I was under house arrest .

Well I am a suspicious person, so I don't blame them.

Also this is a barrack so there may be weapons stored here somewhere , so it is understandable that I was locked for the night.

There was nothing to complain. In fact I was grateful.

They provided me food and room.

They treated Lily and are taking care of her even now.

And they did not even take a single penny from me.

Seems like the ruler of this area atleast, is a decent person.

Since the knight working under them are good to commoners.

Or it might solely be Philia san that is good. Well, only time will tell.

Also I don't think it was Philia san's instruction to lock me.

It must be that Robert san. That uncle is definitely the bad one.

Just kidding.

Although Philia san is just 2 years older than me, she considers herself to be an adult who has to take care of me.

The way she wanted to act like Onee san even though she is just a little older than me was so cute.

I decided to call it a night and laid on the bed.

I saw them doing so from the window.

I got up, drank water, went to do toilet.

To my surprise there was even soap to wash hands and even a sort of tooth brush kept for me near a bucket filled with water in corner of the room.

There was also a grey colored powder kept in a box near tooth brush.

The tooth brush is made of wood and bristles are made of fibrous substance I don't know.

Great. Using the black salt and some drops of water, I brushed my teeth.

This is a great teeth cleaner. I used to do salt gargles in my previous life too, to prevent cavities.

So its nothing new to me.
