Telepathy magic tool and Meeting Lily

Finishing the training I went to eat breakfast.

Today was mashed boiled vegetables that were seasoned with salt, lemon and some spice.

Along with it was Pita bread, salad and curd. Truly delicious.

I went to the room and packed my bagpack.

This is the last moment here.

After this I will visit Lily and from there I will find myself an inn.

Ofcourse I want to live here but this is military barracks.

After I finished packing, there was a knock on the room and it opened and the familiar pair of an angel and an uncle came in.

I said my morning greetings and they replied the same.

After that Robert san gestured to follow them.

We left the gate and went towards the shopping district.

On the way Philia san and Robert san were discussing about buying supplies, but Philia san was a little down.

Is it because of our goodbye or something else happened?

There a we stopped in front of a grand two story shop.

The shop had a Sigel of light magic lantern drawn on its signboard.

As explained by Philia san this was the magic tool shop called Hermit's Heritage or H&H for short.

The store clerk was a handsome young man aged 18 named Enan.

Enan san was human and was wearing a printed brown vest and white shirt.

This store screams costly by just the look of it.

Philia san told the clerk that we were looking for telepathy magic device.

The store clerk than guided us inside the shop.

Meanwhile I was appraising every magic tool I saw.

There were all kind of them.

There were magic tool available for casting all basic type of magic like fireball or stone bullet.

There were even scrolls that had one time advance spell as far as I could deduce from my scan result.

There were even monster warding lanterns and such.

Also watches, clocks and compasses.

But the most important part was there were many mirrors in this shop.

"Whaa..."

I was so shocked seeing myself for the first item.

It was unreal experience.

Since the mental image of myself which was my past body did not even remotely resembled to the current image shown by mirror, I was quite shocked.

In front of me, was a 5 feet 9 inches muscular boy.

Solid built young teenager.

Black hair that had grown to shoulder length, and looked wild like bushes of a tree.

I had black eyes and wheatish complexion.

Fortunately, I could say that I was handsome now.

I did not loose to Robert san in my appearance.

So overall I was by far more attractive than most of the men I saw till now.

I was soo lost in admiring myself that I did not even notice Philia san calling me.

Robert san had to tap my shoulder to make me notice it.

Surprisingly Robert san did not look disgusted by me admiring myself in mirror.

And Philia san was just giving a motherly look to me.

Maybe he just thought that I saw mirror for first time in my life.

Although other things are developed, glass technology is still expensive here it seems.

The clerk guided us to the accessary section.

Then he took out an expesive looking box from under the counter.

The box contained many mini square sections and inside those were bracelets, earrings and necklaces.

As explained by the clerk these were telepathy tools.

I asked Philia san to explain how they worked and if we could try them before buying.

Philia san then explained to me that the tool works by saying the key magic spell and concentrating on the magic tool.

She also said that normally it takes a little bit of mana manipulation practice to be able to use it.

But as per Philia san, the telepathy magic was very basic level magic and could be done without much mana manipulation.

Once the tool is activated, I can talk to anyone who is within 3 meter by imagining to be able to talk to them.

I did not ask the theory about its working because, Philia san is running short on time but she still explained some of it.

Ofcourse communication with only single person at a time was possible with it since it was the most basic model.

Also if a it was necessary that the person that you need to talk to with this magic tool, should not be using any warding magic tool.

The Higher end ones allowed multi channel communication but they were insanely expensive and required some degree of mana manipulation to activate it.

The cheapest one here cost 2 gold coins.

She also explained that according to clerk these will work for about 2 months without changing the magic stone in it.

After that I would have to bring the tool to the shop for replacing the stone and some minor maintenance.

With that the tool itself last for a year or so.

But that depend upon the usage too.

The period was approximately calculated if the tool was used for about 2 hours a day.

The time could also change depending on whether the tool was used continuously or on intervals.

It was similar to an electronic product so as to say.

The average price was 3 gold and some silver coins depending on the type and design of accessories.

Since it was first time for me, I was doubtful if I would be able to operate it or not.

Philia san asked the clerk if we could try using one.

To which The clerk readily agreed on the condition that we would have to buy it in case it worked and also if it broke and stopped working.

I agreed to that condition and scanned the products to choose the one with longest life and best grade among them.

I found the decent one among those. It was a bracelet type.

Just perfect for me. I told Philia san and she asked the shopkeeper to let me try it.

Its 4 gold coins.

I then wore the bracelet.

It was about 4 cm thick bracelet with a magic stone placed at the centre of it.

The bracelet was green in colour with silver and golden magic circles and patterns rigged all over it.

Magic technology is quite advance here.

Philia san then asked the clerk about the magic spell.

The spell seems to be specific for each device so that only the original buyer can use it.

So it becomes useless if stolen.

Although the basic parts of spell are same as telepathy magic, only a certain keyword is added to make it unique.

I don't know how they developed such tech but its cool and very awesome.

The meaning of the spell was somehow being automatically translated to me.

Also the Goddess name seems to be Josephina sama.

Was that the name of Goddess I met.

I will confirm later while visiting temple or something.

I repeated after her and she corrected at some places.

Then I concentrated on the bracelet and chanted it .

Suddenly I saw myself glow in very faint blue light.

I then thought about conversing with Philia san.

Its impossible otherwise to activate it easily...

Once you say the incantation the telepathy will be in effect continuously for 2 hours.

So I will have to keep in mind to not to forget to switch it off by thinking so otherwise the magic stone will drain.

Also its possible to change the target of magic easily while being active.

I also wanted to talk to Robert san but since we were short on time we decided to go to Helium sensei' s clinic.

No I am not making excuses, I did want to say something to him Ok.

We reached the clinic.

Since it was daytime, the doors were open and patients were coming and going.

We also entered and met Helium sensei.

He is a middle aged mixed elf with slightly long sharp ears and white hair.

Even though old, he is still handsome.

He was busy with patients so after a brief greeting he let a nurse guide us to Lily.

We were led to a room.

After knocking we entered the room.

Inside Lily was sitting on the bed.

This is the first time I have seen her properly now.

She has cute face, brown shoulder length hair, green eyes and is about 4 feet 5 inches tall.

Seeing us enter Lily who seemed sad, became very excited and looked towards us with expecting eyes.

She probably thought that we had news about her family.

But she seems quite good girl as before asking anything about that, she came towards me.

Philia san introduced me to her and then she thanked me .

Saying that I immediately connected to her with telepathy magic.

Saying so Lily started crying a little.

Seeing that Philia san hugged her and tried to calm her down.

She still seems very shocked and terrified from her experience it seems.

To distract her I took out 2 Parfait and showed it to Lily.

She looked at them and stopped crying .

Philia san then took one of it from me and started feeding her.

So cute.

Wish I could capture this moment with a camera.

They both look so cute.

Just like two hamsters feeding each other.
