Am I Being Targeted?

Once we returned back to our home, Masuki felt that as if she was powerless to do anything to help me when Shoji attacked me. Believe me, I'm glad she feels that she wanted to help me but I'm so glad she didn't get hurt.

"Nero, I'm really sorry again, I wish I was stronger to be able to protect you aswell, just like you protect me all the time."

"Suki, it's okay, there's no need to worry about that, or what happened. It wasn't your fault, that guy seemed like he was just trying to prove his dominance is all. No biggie."

"Okay but what if next time, it isn't just some light moves? What if he comes out the gate blasting you as powerful as he can, without hesitation?! What am I gonna do with that... Your all I have left Nero."

It dawned on me, that my sister needs me more then I expected. I promised her from the day we arrived here that I would protect her always, as my duty as a brother. I need to get stronger, and hone my magical capabilities to a sharp point. 

All right, let's talk to Karin about how I can learn to control and harness my magic better!

"Karin! Please come out, I need to discuss something with you that I know you will be able to give me clarity on."

There was a pause for a moment but then Karin appeared in front of us, with all her glory like the last time we saw her.

"Ah, my sweet child Nero, what can I do to help assist you?"

"I want to learn how to use my magic to its fullest potential and become as strong as possible. Do you think you will be able to help me out?"

"Of course, I know just the thing for you. You need to learn how to do magical spirit fission."

"Magical spirit fission? Okay, what is it and how do I do it too?"

"First, you need to concentrate all the energy of your magic and your soul to the center of your body. Then once you do that, you need to imagine putting that force out towards something, like a wall or a person."

Interesting, so that's what I gotta do huh. Doesn't actually seem that bad, I think I can actually learn this.

"Alright, is that all I have to do?"

"Yes, that's pretty much it."

Since Karin is here, I have to ask her also what other abilities does Masuki have because it might come in handy to know this as well. Being that Masuki can summon wind and fire at her common, she tells me sometimes that she hears people talking to her. 

"Karin, does my sister have the ability to summon or communicate with sprits?"

"She does indeed."

"W-What?!"

I knew there was something special about her! Not only is her physical strength being extremely high, but her magic control must also be insane! We can learn this to help harness more and more so she can get stronger.

"Okay, please teach her how to use this to her advantage."

"Will do, she will learn a lot from me, I promise."

And with that, the training of our lives began, and honestly were prepared for it. I took a deep breath and started to get to work on my stuff and Masuki practiced hers.

* Sometime after training has been going on *

"Ready for school sis?"

"Yeah, let's go and hurry, I wanna see Sachi."

Now we are heading to school, the one place where that Shoji kid really wants to attack me for some reason. Well, I have gotten extremely strong, and Masuki is ten times as strong as she was before, so we should be okay. Plus, I missed Tomo, he's an amazing friend no matter how girly he may look. I still think he's a girl but hey who knows?

So happy to see Tomo and Sachi, feels like it's been forever, and it was only the weekend. Training takes a toll on the body for real. 

"Good morning, guys!"

"Good morning to you Masuki."

"Morning senpai."

"Good morning T-Tomo.."

Why am I nervous around him? He's just another guy, that just looks girly.

"N-Nero, please watch your thoughts.."

"Your blushi-"

"Don't finish that sentence."

"Yes sir."

"Class take your seats, let's get started on today's lesson."

Since class is starting now, I guess I should actually pay attention, though my mind is else where, I have so much on my mind but I need to relax, Tomo can read my mind so.

"Oh and class, we are going to start up a dormitory, and we have already selected pairs!"

"WHAT!"
