Chapter 10:
Even as Another World's Bone King, I'll still give 50% effort
Two figures were currently running down a hallway, desperately trying to get to something. Upon further inspection, it was Elleth and Airi, the pair looking a little bit worse for wear.
Elleth: Airi, just where are we going? You just dragged me off after we finally had time to rest from all the fighting, what’s going on?
Airi: Quiet down will you, that little sister of mine is in trouble. I just know it, and you’re coming whether you believe me or not.
Elleth: Can’t be helped then, I’ll lend you my power.
The pair stopped by the library within the mansion, catching their breaths as they saw the enormous amount of books that were in there, some even on the floor in stacks as there was seemingly no more space in the shelves.
After that they continued running, trying to figure out where exactly Touka went. The two had to check room by room since they had no trail to follow, making the whole thing extremely tedious for them.
Even splitting up to cover more ground wasn't making it any easier for the both of them.
Eventually they would find themselves in a hallway, this particular one having many bodies strewn about. This was the very same one Touka was in, the bodies being the people she fought.
They were on the right track as they kept running through the hallway, hearing a feminine voice on the other side. Although, it wasn’t Airi’s little sister at all, it was someone else completely.
The voice was notably very sinister sounding, causing the pair to have second thoughts. Should they really approach whoever is on the other side?
Back outside the mansion, on the other hand, the Knight Commander was fighting a demonized cultist. Haru was now going to bust out the final form of his skill {Fleet} as he did.
Haru: Here goes nothing!
The magic circles below him and in front of his palm started glowing, as lighting surges all around him as he begins to chant.
Cruising through the high seas…
Sounds of cannonfire echoing through iron and blood…
All under…
Captain’s Orders!
The lightning surrounding him suddenly became violent as a pair of metal arms spawned out of his back, like that of {Fleet}’s other forms. Looking very heavy-duty as more arms appeared to help support these main arms.
And from those main arms, a flight deck grew, one on the left and right, Much wider and longer than that Carrier’s.
Inside the hangar underneath it were dozens upon dozens of Regens, a hypersonic fighter jet, each of which is equipped with missiles and a pair of high-caliber machine guns.
On the back of these flight decks were two types of guns, both of which were mounted on elevated platforms.
“Odin”, an overhauled and upgraded battleship main gun, and “Arius”, a cruiser gun upgraded the same as the Odin. Both guns able to fire either high-explosive or armor-piercing shells.
The platforms were built in such a way that they still allowed the guns to rotate while still allowing the fighter jets to rise up from the hangar and fly off the runway.
Aside from those, it had a pair of “Langstrum” octuple anti-aircraft guns mounted on his back like his other forms. And lastly it had “Leore” quintuple torpedo launchers mounted on the bottom of the two flight decks, one for each.
He was all set for a full-scale war at this point. The magic circles that were around previously disappeared while some of the violently surging lightning stayed. Likely residual lighting from his transformation.
Haru: This power…
Haru immediately grabs his sword, having been stabbed into the ground the whole time. And rushes off towards the demonized cult member with a smug grin on his face.
He was going at around 645.4 Knots, to put it simply he was going at Mach one, breaking the sound barrier and creating a sonic boom in the process.
He bounced around in the air, boosting himself forward with powerful kicks that blasted the air backwards shooting him towards the cultist. All as the Knight Commander got out of the way.
The commander went off to the healers, his injuries and damage wasn’t as bad but he still had to go to them regardless. Leaving Haru to do the heavy-lifting and fight the cultist.
And so he did, delivering a powerful axe kick on the behemoth. The sheer strength of the kick caused a crater in the ground beneath the large man.
He disappeared from sight just after this, confusing the cultist as he tried firing darkness at areas he thought he would appear in.
He kept doing this, until it was too late. He felt something whiz by him, before blood sprayed out diagonally of his torso.
He had been slashed by Haru, who was behind him, seemingly having landed on his knee with his sword covered in blood. He was breathing quite heavily, seemingly tired and out of breath.
Then he ran off once more, this time maneuvering himself towards the cultist, successfully getting in front of him, catching the demonic-looking man off-guard.
The sound of clinking and metal rubbing together were audible as Haru rotated his guns to aim directly on the cultist’s upper body. All before unloading on him with his battleship and cruiser guns.
The armor-piercing shells he used causing significant damage to him, evident by the blood spilling on the ground as a result. Haru’s guns were red hot and smoking from the barrels.
And yet, he was still able to stand there, his durability and regeneration were nothing like he’s ever seen.
That being said, Haru did notice the regeneration was getting slower, maybe it was due to how much damage he had taken? He kept that in mind, thinking that he would be able to use it to his advantage.
Demonized Cultist: Bastard…you think you’ll be able to beat me just because you got a powerup!
He said, blood dripping from his mouth and forehead. His voice raspy from all the shouting and yelling.
Haru: Correct, or at least I hope I am.
Haru then jumps away, causing a point blank sonic boom. Knocking the man back quite a bit. His feet dragged on the ground causing more damage, kicking up dirt and rocks.
When he regained his balance, Haru was nowhere to be found. Just where did he go? The man thought as several sonic booms could be heard, loud enough to be heard but quiet enough not to give away his location.
He looked around, trying desperately to find Haru. The only evidence were the trees nearby swaying, likely caused by the sonic booms he was causing to propel himself.
Demonized Cultist: Where did he go!
Haru: Faster…
Demonized Cultist: Show yourself dammit!
Haru: Faster…
Demonized Cultist: Fight me head on coward!
Haru: You got it!
By the time the cultist registered that he was nearby, he felt something sharp strike him. Haru held his sword with both hands as he stabbed him, firing his anti-air guns as well.
His attack caused both of them to crash into the mansion with the force he’d built up, and even that wasn’t enough for Haru. He turned his cruiser and battleship guns back, and fired.
He used the recoil from the guns to keep them flying, or more accurately crashing through the mansion, his sword impaled in the cultist’s chest. His regeneration slowly but surely does its magic as Haru glares at him.
Although it wasn’t exactly a perfect plan, as the guns eventually overheated and stalled, making them for the moment, unusable.
He and the cultist found themselves, unknowingly, in the very same library that Elleth and Airi stopped by earlier when they were rushing off to find Touka.
Haru now stood over the cultist, leaving his sword in his chest. He felt his body burning up as if he had gotten a fever, as hyperventilation set in once more.
He felt a sharp pain in his ribs, likely from how fast he was going earlier. His body wasn’t able to handle going Mach one almost instantly. While the man he was standing on suddenly spit up blood before speaking to him in a gruff voice. Struggling to talk even with his regeneration ability.
Demonized Cultist: Bas..tard…you’re thinking…you’ve beat me…aren’t you?
Haru: Shut up, I’m having a headache right now. I don’t want you making it worse than it already is.
The man laughs at him, trying to provoke him and get him to finish the job. This, of course, annoyed Haru greatly. But he could tell what he was doing, the man clearly wanted himself to be killed right then and there.
Demonized Cultist: Are you…going to…leave me like this? If..you don’t…act now..I’ll get back up and fight you again…
Haru: That’s true…but…
The cultist grabs his leg, his remaining strength still able to cause significant damage to his leg.
Demonized Cultist: If…you won’t end this…I’ll do…it…myself…
This finally broke through to Haru, who gritted his teeth in anger at the man below him.
Haru: Fine! I’m going to regret pulling this out again, but…Vlad!
He stomps on the man, getting him to spit out even more blood, as he finally activates {Skeletal Master} for the first time since getting that uncontrollable form of his.
The ground beneath them both shakes violently, all before spike-like bones shot up from the ground, impaling the cultist in several places. The most notable of which were ones coming out of where his heart and brain would be.
The bones that impaled him were halfway between the black bones of his berserk form and the normal white color it was before. It was as if it was stained while the real thing staining it was the cultist’s blood.
Haru stepped back and walked off, taking a seat on the floor nearby the bookshelves. He’d position the armaments of Captain’s Orders in such a way that he was able to sit comfortably.
Haru: Dammit…I used that again…what should I do?
He thinks to himself as he turns his head left and right, basking in the silence and calmness of the library. Before looking to his side and grabbing a book from a stacked pile next to him.
Haru: Light reading to pass the time, can't be that bad, right?
He thought, and he was wrong. It’ll only make him more aware of the true nature of that skill, and in turn, make him want to seek out a certain someone.
While all of that was happening, Velia was just about to decapitate Touka using her zweihander. Until it was blasted away by…blood? A voice from the hallway shouted something.
Suddenly, a figure jumped at her, grabbing Touka and her swords. Taking them away from Velia. The light purple-haired woman looked to see who these two were.
Velia: Ah, so the cavalry's here. Great, now I don’t have to waste any time trying to find you two. Now, I just hope you aren’t disappointing like your sister over there.
Though instead of her immediately attacking her as Velia thought, Airi just gritted her teeth and gave her a glare. This frustrated her, it worked on her sister, it should work on the other right? That was her thought process.
While she was busy getting angry at her flawed provocation of the young girl in front of her, she completely let her guard down. As not a moment later she was hit by a Draconian Howl, sending her flying into the wall.
Elleth: O-oi Touka, don’t force yourself. You’re really injured right now I don’t thin-
Touka: I’m fine, besides I want to beat her up as much as you guys do.
Airi: Elleth, let her. If she collapses, it’ll be on her anyway.
Elleth: Ah, fine. But here, this will at least keep you going for a little longer.
The dragon girl puts her hand on Touka’s shoulder, before her hand started secreting a cream-colored substance. This substance flowed all over her body like a liquid, seeping into her wounds and healing them
Touka: What the…
Elleth: It’s a repair virus, though it only heals wounds. It doesn’t really revitalize you or anything like that.
Touka: T-thanks.
She then picks up her swords from the ground, as Elleth transforms into her human-dragon hybrid form, and draws her shortsword. At the same time, Airi powers herself up with blood magic armor.
Velia got up, dusting herself off and conjuring a pair of hook swords into her hands. Facing Elleth, Airi, and Touka in silence. The tension in the room almost immediately skyrocketed.
It stayed this way for quite a while, almost no one was making a move. The three girls’ eyes were dead set on Velia.
Then, Airi rushed at her. Going into a flurry of strikes from her rapier, with Velia not even dodging her attacks, letting them pierce through and leave a wound behind.
Velia: Are you done?
And with no time to waste she stomps on the ground, creating a shockwave that knocks Airi a little bit away from her. Courtesy of her shockwave ability.
Velia: My, looks like you can take it. Unlike little-miss-underpowered over there.
She referred to Touka, making her older sister, Airi even more angry. With her going in again to attack her as the other two join in, a three versus one.
Airi creates a new blade for her rapier out of blood magic, making it resemble a saber, slashing at the woman, as Touka closes in from behind her and attacks. Velia, on the other hand, nonchalantly takes both of them on at the same time.
As she fought both sisters, Elleth took the opportunity to jump in, she held her short sword in a reverse grip and lunged at Velia. There she landed a hit on her cheeks, sending her back quite a bit.
Blood dripped from her wound, as she looked at the three of them, the look in her eyes asking them if that was all they could do. To which Airi replied by coating herself in hellfire and launching herself at her, as if she were a large flaming cannonball.
Airi: Now!
Elleth: Got it!
She fires a Draconian Howl as Airi pins Velia down. Hoping this would at least weaken her in some way. Which it did, for a few seconds, before Airi got kicked off and she immediately went for Elleth, the top half of her right side burnt and bleeding.
She broke Elleth’s short sword and using just one of her hook swords she slashed upwards diagonally. Her blade had been charged up with her shockwave ability.
This, in turn, sent her flying into the wall. Velia followed her and began mercilessly slashing at her, her other hand dealing with the two sisters as she did so.
By the time she was finished, Elleth was a knocked out mess. Blood dripped from every part of her, or at least the front anyway, from her forehead, to her chest, arms, and legs.
She then turned her attention to the two sisters, who were quite bloody themselves. She flashes a smile at them as the two run over to her and begin fighting.
Velia: You two saw what happened to your friend, and now you fight me? Though you three were already “fighting” me, now that I think about it.
The two sisters kept on fighting her, not even bothering to listen to what she was saying. Touka fires her blade, impaling Velia in the side, as her sister runs hellfire through the chain into the blade, burning Velia as well.
Though it only worked for a couple of seconds as she breaks the chain itself and using her shockwave ability, she creates a gust of wind that is strong enough to extinguish hellfire.
She was almost completely unaffected by the fire, save for only a few burnt spots on her clothing and skin.
She quickly tackles Airi, disarming her by breaking her rapier the same way she did to Elleth’s short sword. Before going crazy and stabbing the girl several times, holding her hook swords in a reverse grip.
Leaving her just barely alive, wanting to see her suffer rather than kill her outright, quite different from what she was about to do to Touka earlier.
Velia: It’s just us again. Scared, little girl?
Touka: Can’t say I’m not, but, I’m not letting you go easily. Especially after what you’ve done to my sister and friend.
Velia and Touka started fighting one on one once again, she held her remaining sword with two hands as she fought her.
Each one of her strikes were heavy, using her skill {Rock Shatter} to pack mana into her sword and make it even stronger. Putting everything she had into them, wanting to avenge Airi and Elleth.
Her efforts contrasted by Velia's general amusement, even with the injuries she sustained fighting the three of them. Both of them were more or less on equal footing, the only difference being the amount of effort they put into the fight at hand.
Touka was determined to defeat her, noting that she was only this determined to win something whenever she played against Haru in a game, never in her life was she expecting to do any of this at all.
I mean fighting against a cult member with superpowers? If someone told her she would be doing just that back then she’d be under the impression that you were on certain substances.
Sadly, Velia would eventually overwhelm her, utilizing her sword magic and her shockwave ability in tandem. The feeling of a sword stabbing through her became common as she was getting beat down.
Finally losing her grip, dropping her sword and collapsing to the ground. Her armor was almost completely destroyed, save for the leg and chest areas, those were only cracked and scratched.
Her body, just like the other two, was nothing more but a literal bloody mess. Velia squatted over her, her two hook swords were now just a single falchion, she grabbed Touka’s right arm and began to chop it slightly above her elbow.
Meanwhile, Haru had just finished massacring an entire hallway of cult members. Letting loose and using {Skeletal Master} along with {Fleet}’s final form, Captain’s Orders.
He leaned on a wall at the end of the hallway, he was just about to call it quits and head out of the mansion when he heard a visceral scream coming from somewhere nearby. The voice was very much familiar to him, and in no time at all he ran towards it, the closer he was getting the quieter it became until there was just silence.
When he finally made it to where it originated from. There he saw something, or rather, someone. And in that split second, he jumped, breaking the sound barrier once more just to get to that person. He cocked his fist back as his guns angled themselves, all before he fired all four of them and Hundred Impale at the same time.
After which he deployed his fighter jets, but not for combat. Instead, using his bone tendrils, he placed Touka, Elleth, and Airi onto them. One jet for the top half and one for the bottom half, before wrapping bones to strap them in. He had basically created a floating stretcher for the three of them.
He sent the jets with the girls on them out of the room, through a hallway nearby. He closely followed behind, but not before stomping on the ground and using Vlad. Ensuring that, if she would get up, she’d be slowed down to a degree.
He led the jets through the mansion, ending up in a dead end facing a wall. He was just about ready to bust through the thing, until he remembered something important he had to do first.
At the same time, Airi was beginning to wake up. Her eyes opened to see Haru wrapping his fur coat around Touka’s stump, bones wrapped around it tightly to prevent any further blood loss.
Airi: H..aru..
She stretches out her hand as he notices and approaches her, tears streaming down her face as he ruffles her hair. Trying his best not to break down at that moment so she wouldn’t worry, her condition was already bad enough as it is, and he didn’t want to add on to it.
He has the jets go behind him, as he readies his guns and fires them at the wall in front of him, blowing it up and giving them a way to escape easily. He sends the jets out first before jumping himself. He runs to the front of the mansion, likely where everyone else was with the jets following suit.
There he saw that he was right, a lot of his strike team were now outside, albeit quite injured themselves. The Knight Commander covered them as they ran for the healers.
He sees someone who’s just teleported people back to the temporary base, and calls out to him, explaining a bit of the situation and getting him to teleport the girls to safety.
Haru attempts to rush towards where he came out of, anticipating that she’d come out from there as well. Only to be stopped by the commander speaking to him.
Knight Commander: Are you still going to do it? Even if it means cutting your life short?
Haru: Huh, what are you talking about?
Knight Commander: It’s all too familiar to me, promising young people like you going in to fight for the sake of avenging someone. Only for them to end up dead because of it.
Haru stands there in silence thinking it over before going, rushing off to fight her, the Knight Commander sighs, knowing that he wasn’t able to save another one.
The afternoon sun was shining as the young man was just about ready to push himself to the brink of death for the sake of revenge.
Haru finally comes face to face with Velia, who was now wielding a buster sword. She gives him a cutesy smile coupled with a wink, however, Haru took it more as an insult more than anything else.
Velia: As I thought, you woul-
Haru: So you were the one who did that to them. Is that right, Lady Velia?
Velia: My, my, how terrifying. That’s just what I love about you.
Haru: Then, how much would you love this?
Suddenly he was now directly in front of her, and without missing a beat he delivered a roundhouse kick straight to her face. The sheer force behind the kick itself sent her skidding quite far to the right.
He turns to look at her, unsheathing his sword and using bones to keep it secure to his hand. As Velia holds her buster sword effortlessly, her arms dark blue and with glowing blue cracks, showing that she’s activated her shockwave ability.
Haru, meanwhile, was getting ready to run at her. His stance evident of this. Then it went silent, the two waiting for the other to make a move, effectively putting the two in a stalemate at that moment.
The silence was broken as both of them rushed towards each other at the same time, their swords audibly clashing when they finally made contact, to the point where you could see sparks flying as their swords were locked.
He used this to his advantage, by firing from the side his free hand was. Sending her flying before crashing into the ground, seemingly having caught her off-guard and leaving her with no time to defend.
All before casually walking over towards her, pointing his guns right at her while she was still on the ground. Her giant sword being slightly too far for her arm to reach.
Haru: I know that you’re just waiting for me to drop my guard. Cut the shit and get up already.
Velia: Ahh, and here I thought I was being clever. You really are amazing, now~
Haru: What? She disappeared, when did-
Velia: How about you be a good boy and break down for me~
She then started fighting him once more, her slashes were wild and sporadic, Haru was just barely able to parry them, some of which got through and wounded him.
They kept at it for quite a while, sword slashes, gunfire, shockwaves, bones, mostly everything these two had at their disposal was thrown at each other. All until she broke Haru’s sword into two, leaving the hilt with a small chunk left as the rest of the blade fell to the ground.
This left him no choice but to use his two combat-related skills in tandem, combining the piercing ability of {Skeletal Master} and the sheer firepower of {Fleet}’s final form.
She then appeared behind him, using the dust and smoke from his gunfire as cover, wielding her giant buster sword. The large hunk of iron covered in blue energy, and proceeds to take a swing at him. Cutting into him and sending him flying, this time he crashed into a tree, causing it to fall down.
He forced himself to get up as she squealed in joy, justifying that if he doesn't she’ll kill him. He turns to look at her as his body started feeling hot and he began to hyperventilate, just like when he and that cultist landed in the library earlier.
Then, it happened, he suddenly gained a cloak of light gray mana around himself. The cloak was generating massive gusts of wind in all directions, literally blowing people away if they weren’t able to handle it, as the air around him began to crack.
Haru’s eyes dulled as he laughed at her, black bones started to wrap themselves around his body, forming the armor of the berserk form he came to fear and tried to avoid just after acquiring it.
Haru: I already know that the girls are safe. So do me a favor just this once and show her no mercy, will you?
Accepting his fate, he lets the armor form around him and closes his eyes. The bones even going up to the mechanical arms of Captain’s Orders, wrapping around and turning themselves into a support for the arms and the main weapons system itself.
Once the armor was finished, it looked very different from when it activated the previous two times. It was more complete looking as Haru now had a full helmet instead of half of one like he had before. While the torso armor had a design that made it similar to a ribcage.
The helmet’s front had an almost mask-like face slightly jutting out. This part heavily resembled a skull that one would see on a jolly roger with a crown attached on top, even down to the color. The white contrasting well with the mostly black armor. The eyes on the other hand were a clear gray and almost bug-like, sunken into the eyeholes of the skull.
Something was off, Haru was still conscious. He stood there confused for a bit, wondering what was going on before he went into action. Guessing that he had limited time before actually passing out and letting his body go on autopilot.
But from Velia’s and everybody else’s perspective, it looked like he had just disappeared after the armor was complete. Leaving only a dust cloud where he once stood.
Haru: Got you.
And with no time for Velia to react at all, he kicked her with such force to send her flying before speeding away and kicking her again, this time sending her upwards. He closely followed suit, shooting her higher into the air using the explosive power of his guns.
She tried to chuck a sword at him but he quickly swatted it as he deployed his hypersonic fighter jets, having them fly around her firing missiles and bullets from their machine guns. Backing them up with his own guns and missiles, or in this case torpedoes that act like one, before disappearing once again and leaving her to fall.
Or at least that was the case until he decided to pay her a visit while she was still falling. He created what was more or less some Brass knuckles. And using them he delivered a strong punch to her gut, accelerating her fall into the ground.
He lands calmly as she gets out of the crater she left, and without warning or any sort of sign, creates dozens of swords in the air and throws them all at him. Along with swinging her buster sword at him to no avail, the armor being able to tank an attack like that as he retaliates using Hundred Impale.
To his surprise, she managed to hold on and not fly back. Instead, however, she walked over and grabbed his face or at least the helmet’s face before releasing a powerful shockwave upon it. The strength of it causing the ground below them to crack and crumble.
The power of it even caused his helmet to crack a bit. Specifically near the eyes, she then followed it up by kneeing him in the stomach. This knocked him back a couple meters away from her as she picked up her buster sword and turned it into a nodachi, charging it up with her shockwave ability while walking towards him.
She got close to him, delivering a powerful and heavy slash. Breaking through the armor, and making a giant cut into his torso causing him to scream in pain, the armor reforming just after she’d done this.
He tried to escape by jumping away, but she was quick enough to grab onto his leg and almost immediately slamming him onto the ground. Before going on to stomp and kick his back violently, her strikes empowered by shockwaves.
Haru unloads his guns on her, taking advantage of the almost point blank range, intending to knock her away and escape. Luckily it worked, clouds of smoke and dust covered the field as he managed to crawl his way out, finally being able to stand up as Captain’s Orders began dissipating.
Velia struggles to stand up as she’s immediately attacked by Haru, or at least his shell of a body anyway. This one acted differently from the one Airi and Grimmwald fought that night, more feral than the silent beast from before. The black cloak of mana and scythe returned, as the Grim Reaper had now arrived.
The Reaper snarled at her, picking up her body by impaling it with the scythe and then throwing it across the field and into the wall of the mansion, breaking through. Following behind and repeating, this time throwing her back outside, skidding on the ground and landing inside one of the craters she left earlier.
Kill…
Kill…….
Kill………..
Those were the Reaper’s thoughts as it stretches its arm sideward, and uses Kobraschädel. The serpent-esque skull slithering around before being used as a flail, slamming into her over and over again. By the time it was finished the skull was mostly covered in blood and was about to crack before being dematerialized along with the scythe.
She still managed to stand up, proving she wasn’t an elite member of the cult for nothing, spitting up blood, as the Reaper forcefully pulled her out of the crater and onto level ground with a bone tendril.
It then conjured up some bones from out of the ground, trapping her as they wrapped around her legs and arms. All before it jumped up into the air, bouncing around gaining momentum, the lower left leg gaining more and more bone spikes and even a talon.
When it finally finished charging up, it launched itself towards Velia, left foot first. Landing a devastating flying kick on her as it landed on its knee, scraping the ground in the process.
Haru suddenly came out of the armor, like someone else had intervened and prevented him from going on any longer in that form. The armor basically spitting him out onto the ground before disappearing itself, leaving him in a very wounded state in his torn up clothes.
Haru: Get up…you still have…one more…
And just like before, he forced himself to get up, albeit for a much different reason. It pained him to even stand up as he found that his body was sore, though it was to be expected since he was fighting for most of the day.
He turns to see her, still barely alive, just like how she left Elleth, Airi, and Touka. While walking towards her, he finds the broken-off blade of his sword amidst the rubble they’ve kicked up and caused in their fight. The thoughts of that berserk form lingered in his head as he picked it up, looking at it and wondering if he was really going to do it.
He walked towards her, having already made his decision, the blade behind held tightly in a reverse grip within his metal gauntlet. When he got close she started quietly chuckling, startling him a bit as he kneeled facing her.
Haru: So you’re still alive…
Velia: Great…this is great…that “Grim Reaper” was more powerful than I thought…
Haru: Finally, gone mad, huh.
Velia: You.. can say that… but the same… can apply to you… Reaper…
He goes on and stabs her multiple times in the chest, triggering his own memories of his little sister’s murder. Which he’d been blaming himself for ever since, even though he was innocent. This was the final blow, finally killing her as evidenced by her lifeless golden eyes.
But he wasn’t done with her, as he moved her right arm sideward, the shockwave ability still seemed to be active as her arm was still dark blue with glowing cracks.
Haru sighed, as he wanted to make this quick and not spend any more time on this than he needed to. He began to chop off her arm, slightly above the elbow with some allowance, almost the same way she did to Touka.
He stood up, now holding her severed arm in his hand as he dropped the blade and began walking towards everyone else, the droplets of blood making a trail behind him. Incoherently muttering to himself about something as he did so.
This was cut short however, as the exhaustion from all the battle finally caught up to him as he collapsed to the ground. The Knight Commander and a healer ran up to him, obviously concerned for the boy.
Haru: Please… give… to Touka….
Those were his last words before he passed out, asking them to give the severed arm to Touka, likely as a replacement for the one she got cut off earlier.
