A Chance Encounter

The sun was shining brightly in the sky as Sera strolled through the park. She felt a sense of peace and contentment as she took in the beautiful surroundings. The smell of freshly cut grass filled the air, and she could hear the sound of birds singing in the trees.

As she walked, Sera found herself lost in thought. She had been feeling a little down lately, and the park was her favorite place to go when she needed to clear her head. "Good morning," he said, as he sat down on the bench next to her.

"I couldn't help but notice the smile on your face," the man said. "It's contagious."

Sera felt a warm flush of embarrassment rise up in her cheeks. "Thank you," she said, feeling a little self-conscious.

"My name is David," the man said, extending his hand.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Sera," she replied, shaking his hand.

Over the next few minutes, David and Sera chatted about their lives and interests. Sera found herself feeling more and more comfortable around David, and she was surprised at how easy it was to talk to him.
