Prologue 1: "Rudy Day 0"

It was a normal day in the year 2040. Rudy is a college dropout that loves video games a little too much for his own good. Rudy is currently grinding in his favorite MMORPG, ‘Army of Darkness Reborn.’ An survival rpg set in a post apocalyptic version of Earth. The world was overrun by a new virus and the government's of the world decided to bomb most Populated countries to stop the spread of the virus. In this game the player creates a survivor with super in depth character creation. Rudy plays a female survivor with the skills farming, cooking, sharpshooter, two handed axes, etc. The game is based on the popular movie series of the same name. In the movie, the protagonist discovered a book with mysterious demonic writing showing images of demons and humans clashing. The book tells of a heroic hero that is reborn and saves The world from the apocalypse. It's said that this hero loses one of his hands and builds a fake hand with a built in machine gun and flamethrower underbarrel attachment. In the video game players gather resources to build horde bases to survive the apocalypse. Every night the zombies get blood red eyes and become stronger, able to lift cars and other heavy shit. Every 3 days, at night the zombies grow smarter and stronger and attack in hordes all night. The sky turns dark orange out and the moon turns blood red. “Yo, do you have any concrete or steel?” Rudy asked his best friend, Jake. “I'm almost completely out of both to be honest.” Jake replied“Shit I'll go get some more then because it's day 60, the horde night is going to be crazy tonight.” Rudy hopped on his bike and headed to the nearest construction site for supplies.A couple of hours later Rudy is on his way back to the horde base with a shit load of steel and concrete. “I'm gonna build some more auto turrets and fences” “We could use some more turrets and fences up front.” Jake said. “I got yo- All of the sudden the power in Rudy's apartment goes out but comes back on a split second later and his TV comes on with an emergency broadcast.“This is a national emergency broadcast, due to the increase in temperatures scientists have discovered a new infection that attacks the brain taking over the host body. It's unclear if this is a new flu or something more serious. Reports of animals turning and attacking humans have been reported. It's said that one bite from an infected individual is enough to infect someone. We advise everyone to stay sheltered In their homes.
