New School Life

It's morning.

Another day, another opportunity for new encounters.

Especially since today, I am going to a new school again...

I just hope that things goes well here.

I woke up very early today to start up with my newly decided routine.

I decided to do an everyday training, not to make myself stronger but to learn how to control my own strength properly.

In these past 2 days, I have been recklessly destroying furnitures and many different objects, It feels like I'm like that one certain spider hero guy.

I went outside the house.

I started with some stretchings first.

Oh, and it's not like i have a special training or anything.

It's just the normal basic exercises.

Except, I have to control my own strength so that I would be able to accomplish it, otherwise I would burst through the road like bullet. I wouldn't want that.

I spent the next 1 hour doing nothing but exercises. I don't feel exhausted at all.

I've also gotten more accustomed to controlling my strength, hehehe could it be that I'm some type of prodigy maybe? kidding.

There were no corners in the town i haven't ran through, thanks to that I also found many places, good places to you know... bring girls at... why am i even thinking about this.

It's 5AM. My exercise is over so i decided to go back home.

I have been practicing how to run silently too, to soften the impact of my legs on the ground so it wouldn't break it atleast.

It's really difficult.

Ahh, if I could only fly.

Speak of flying, I wonder if she's awake yet?

Suddenly, my mind has been thinking of Kaguya.

I spent my time walking with that and now I am back home. I have to get ready for school.

The lights in the house are already open.

I suppose mother is awake herself too preparing breakfast for all of us.

I entered the house and greeted her a Good Morning, and so she greeted back as well.

I'm planning on taking a shower now, so my next destination is to the bathroom!

I reached for the doorknob in hopes that I don't destroy it.

Gently... Gently... Gently...

I repeated these words in my head and focused on nothing but controlling it.

And success! I have entered without doing any harm! is what i thought.

The lights were on when i entered... meaning someone must be...

I turned my head slowly too, not in caution that i may destroy something but because I might be in another cliche situation.

I have prepared my heart and mind, along my physical body for an incoming strike.

When i turned my head, there was Kaguya wrapped with nothing but Bath Towel on her body and her hair is wet... I messed up...?

I was ready that time, but to my surprise...

" Did your mother ever taught you how to knock first before entering? " said Kaguya with a straight face.

To my surprise, she didn't react the way expected.

" Shoo, go out, go away " She followed.

" Don't threat me like I'm a stray dog that barged in!!! " i responded.

" I mean, you're basically like one right now, aren't you? " She definitely doesn't hold back with her words.

Kaguya then snapped her fingers and the Bath Towel just transformed into a school uniform. why?

Her hair ornaments came back too and her hair easily dried up, It looks soft silky as usual.

Is she planning on going to school as well?

She then left without saying anything further.

And I took my time enjoying the water in the shower...

What a way to start my morning.

I finished my shower and went for breakfast the moment I got changed.

It looks like everyone is already here except me.

Kaguya seems to be getting alone just fine with my family, that's a relief.

With my relief, i sat down myself.

" By the way, Hikari, I won't be home for tonight so I'll be leaving the house to you okay? " said my Mother.

I just nodded and gave her a response of yes.

I will be cooking tonight, huh.

The breakfast went well and my family is really entertained by the stories Kaguya speaks of. popular legends and some untold ones. I just listened to them until i finished breakfast and is time to leave for school. normally, the walk will take about 30 minutes due to the school being next town but since, you know, I'm literally a speedster at this point, the time gets reduced to mere seconds, but that won't do, it will ruin my clothes and hair.

That's where Kaguya comes, man, her divine treasure comes really handy.

We got to the place in less than a second.

Whew, the air here is different, the color of people is really... color of people?

Why did i only bother thinking about it now? I also have been seeing colors flying around the people, like an aura.

I didn't really pay attention to it but now i wonder what it means.

I can't turn this ability off, which I have been trying since it really bothers me a lot but I will try figuring it out later.

The two of us, Kaguya and I entered the gates of this new school. we don't really know which room is our class so we asked about it to some students.

We approached two students, one female and one female...?

There stood a feminine beautiful with black hair tied on it's back wearing a male's uniform.

" How rude! I'm a guy. " The feminine beauty claiming to be a guy told me with an upset tone and face.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat—???

Ahahahaha, she must be joking right? I mean she has to? SHE'S PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST PRETTY GIRLS I'VE EVER SEEN ONLY TO BE A HE?!

and how did she even know what I was thinking about?!?!

" And yes, I am not joking " The self proclaimed guy told me.

" I didn't even say anything... " I responded as I try to figure out how does she even know what I'm thinking, is she a telepath?!

That's creepy.

" Umm, excuse me, but he's telling the truth, he's a guy " the other girl interrupted and clarified to clear the doubts, she seems serious.

I just never thought I would see a real life trap, broooooo.

I accepted my mistake and apologized to him.

It's my bad, really.

If one looks good like that, they would think the same you know.

I then asked about how he knew what I was thinking and his answers were pretty simple and was way too far from what I thought.

" I get mitsaken for a girl pretty often, that's why " he answered.

Yeah, I understand why...

Am I gay if i find him attractive and bree—

let's cut that thought off.

He responds pretty fast.

Although he refuses to make eye contact when conversing.

I apologized again for my mistake and started asking our questions we were suppose to do earlier.

The woman then again interfered our chat

" Oh, isn't that where your class is? " she told the i still can't believe a guy

He confirmed her statement.

" Yeah, it is my class "

The woman then started pointing the directions, apparently, she's a senior here.

We thanked the two of them and I apologized for the last time then left.

" I can't believe he's actually a dude... " I uttered.

really, I can't believe it.

" You didn't know? I thought it was pretty obvious " Kaguya replied.

" It was? my eyes must be going bad... "

" It's not, fool, furthermore that would be impossible as all of your functions are beyond normal human " said Kaguya.

Oh, she's right.

I might be just stupid then.

we kept on talking to each other until we reached the class they told us of.

The class is yet to start, glad we got here early.

The whole place is unfamiliar to me, my heart is racing on that thought, my love for exploring new places is surfacing.

There's still about 20 minutes before the class starts. I will walk around first.

" I'm going to walk around for a bit. " I told Kaguya, which caught her own curiousity and asked why.

" Why is that? " asked Kaguya who was sitting besides me, our seats are next to each other again.

This must be fate at work! niceeee.

" I just want to explore this place a bit, wanna come? " is what I told her and proceeded to invite her with me.

Kaguya took some moments to decide whether she comes or not, in the end she decided to tag along.

We took our time walking around but we mostly spent it inside the library we found.

This is great, There are many interesting books here.

I browsed from shelves to shelves, Kaguya has already found one she wants to look into.

And one book caught my attention, The tale of the Bamboo Cutter and Kaguyahime.

It's more of a picture book however.

I have not read it myself, I might stop by some time to read it.

The class is soon starting, the two of us headed back to our class room.

Everyone is sitting in their seats already, the teacher is coming soon apparently.

there's also an exchange in advisors today.

I sat in my seat, I noticed that the same guy who i thought was a girl sat two seats to the front of my seat.

I stood up again to thank him for earlier and we exchanged names.

" My name is Sorasaki Hikari, nice to meet you. " i told him.

" Hoshino Yozora, nice to meet you too... " he responded.

He doesn't really seem to be the social type so i will stop bothering him.

And finally, the teacher arrived.

There walked a blonde teacher with red eyes.... wait wait wait! hold up! that's—!

" Good morning everyone! " greeted the teacher enthusiastically.

" I'm your Homeroom Teacher today, Tamamo-no-Mae! " The teacher introduced herself, which of course i already know! what is she doing in this class?

Yellow Orange Hair with noticable fluffy fox ears and Tail with crimson red eyes.

Although it's only Kaguya and I who can see the Ears and Tail part.

I mean, I already know that she's a teacher and she works here but to be our Homeroom Teacher? and on top of that it seems that their positions were just switched today.

Did she plan this out?

She's basically in charge of managing all students in the class, as well as everything in the room.

It's basically her domain now.

She also teaches the first two subjects, Science and History

Science already...

I'll ask her later all my questions, let's just hope that things are going to be alright.

The students are delighted by this new teacher, must be her charisma at work?

Hours passed, Tamamo taught the students pretty well in the first two classes.

Her enthusiasm kept the air warm and light, all the students including me are following her lessons just fine.

Some time she would crack some jokes for some laughs, her humor can amazingly stretch and bend like clay to fit her audience.

Thus the affection of the students towards her grows rapidly.

It's almost day and night in comparison of her presence in this classroom to the other teachers.

even the other students from other classes and other teachers agrees that she's the most loved teacher here.

I didn't expect that to be honest, but I'm glad she's doing well.

The day went well, the class has been dismissed and the bell rang, time to go home.

Of course I will not go home yet, I still got questions to ask this Fox Girl here.

I approached her and complimented her work today.

" Great work today. " I said with a smile.

She responded with a thank you.

" So, this is your doing right? " I asked.

She already knows what I mean, so she didn't dodge the question and answered it.

" Yes, it is my doing, i figured that being your Advisor and Homeroom Teacher will enable me to aid you more efficiently. "

Her asnwers are sincere, she means nothing but good with it.

I guess that's fine.

" Alright, I'll head home now "

Kaguya has left already, she's waiting for me by the gate now so I must go too.

" Yes, have a nice and safe walk " she responded.

Tamamo herself has finished all her works here, she's a fast and hardworker.

She have nothing left to do here so she's going back to her apartment too.

But I'm not done yet of course, that was just to build the air for the conversation's flow.

" Anyway, wanna come and have dinner with us tonight? "

I have seen that she doesn't really eat that much, in fact, she only had a cup of noodles today for lunch.

I doubt she'd be able to cook anything either back in her apartment because of the after-work she have to accomplish.

My invitation lit a fire in her eyes and happily accepted it.

I have no idea how will I explain to mother why is my teacher eating with us but I'll get through it.

all that matters right now is that she eats well with people.

" Alright, I'll see you later. " i waved goodbye and left the classroom.

I met up with Kaguya who has been waiting by the gate and I explained to her that Tamamo will be joining us for dinner.

Since mother is not going to be home tonight, it will be my cooking for the dinner!

Kaguya and I stopped by the grocery store for some time to get my ingredients, which didn't take that much time.

The sun keeps on descending until night embraced the land.

When it's over, I left the work to Kaguya to make a pathway back to the house.

The door connected to our house's door leading us to inside of it the moment we set foot inside.

" I'm home " I uttered which was greeted back with " Welcome home " by my sisters.

Kaguya went ahead of me to put both of our things in my room while i put what i bought to preparation.

" Oh, you'll be cooking tonight? It's been a while since the last time I've tasted your cooking " said my elder sister.

" Big bro is cooking? I can't wait for it! " said my little sister.

Alright, let's get to it!

I took my time in the kitchen while my little sister played with Kaguya and my Elder sister watching the television.

I hummed to myself with a song... a song...

what song is this...? I just kept on humming it.

Before i noticed it, Kaguya was already behind me.

" Where did you hear that song? " She asked.

She really looks interested in it, did she perhaps liked the tone?

I don't really know where exactly, I don't even know what song it is... Although I have been humming it since i was a small child.

I must've heard it somewhere I can't remember.

" I don't know myself either " i answered thus shifting her curious face to a face of dissapointment.

" That's too bad then " she said and just left without saying anything further.

I'm really curious what made her ask about it which i kept on thinking about until I finished cooking.

I prepared all the plates, Rice, My Cooking.

Which i was then asked by my Elder Sister, why is there an extra plate?

Just when she finished her question, the doorbell rang right on time.

" I invited someone for tonight. " i replied as i reached for the door.

I opened the door and there stood the fox girl still wearing her teacher uniform.

I greeted her a welcome with a smile and invited her in which she accepted.

" W-well then, excuse me. "

She followed my steps towards the table.

My Elder Sister was surprised, but my Little Sister was delighted by her arrival.

I introduced Tamamo to everyone and I have explained that I invited her here, which my Elder Sister approved of, she has no reason to not.

My Little Sister welcomed her enthusiastically, apparently they have met somewhere.

" It's the nice Lady from the other day! "

Just recently, my little sister got lost because she got away from her school, she didn't know which way to go, that's when Tamamo helped bringing her back to my Mother who just happened to arrive when my little sister got lost and has been worried where she has been.

So she already met my Mother, huh? that's nice I'd say.

If she were here, she would agree with me inviting her and say that it's to thank her kindness.

Whew, That welcomed her warmly.

That puts a smile on my face.

We begun eating, all of us in one table.

It was a warm night.

Once again, I'm glad i invited her in.

This is the sight I would love to always see.

Everyone just laughing, free from any troubles and worries even if just temporarily.

I'm looking forward to what tomorrow got for me as well.
