Chapter 1 - Alive Again!

In a small apartment, Glen Chu stared at his surroundings in a daze.

'Where am I?'

Glen Chu was about to explore his situation when he was suddenly smacked in the head with by the countless memories forcefully flooded his brain.

Fuck!

So painful.

Did he transmigrate?

Judging from the familiar yet unfamiliar memories in his head, he knew it was likely.

Even more shocking was that the original owner also had the same name as him. They were both Glen Chu.

But while he was an orphan in his past life, this Glen Chu had a younger sister.

Their parents had long died, leaving the siblings to themselves.

This year, the Glen Chu of this world had just finished high school at 17.

He should've been on his way, trying to get into any of the prestigious universities. But how could he do that with no scholarship opportunities?

His grades were average at best. So if he were to cough up the money to continue his education, his sister would suffer.

The siblings were very close to each other. Though his sister protested, he still stuck to his decision, taking his late father's suit and storming the job market.

His sister still had 2 more years to finish high school. However, he planned to finance her education until she graduated from university!

Maybe in university, she might have the chance to take up a good part-time job. For now, he only wanted her to focus on her studies, complete high school with good results, and enter a prominent university while he worked for them both.

However, reality was different from what he expected.

Day by day, he looked for a job.

The original owner should've been at least able to find an ordinary lower-wage job with only a high school education. But due to jealousy from a person he thought was his best friend, he didn't go far.

Every time he found a job, the owner would fire him in less than a week.

At first, he didn't think anything of it until one of his employees told him that his 'uncle' had caused a scene, talking about his unfilial behavior.

What uncle? The original Glen Chu was confused and wronged, trying to explain himself. No one listened to his words. And just like that, he was fired everywhere he went.

It was only yesterday that he knew he was stabbed in the back by his so-called best friend.

His good buddy had hired someone to play the part of his uncle.

Why? Because of a girl.

She was one of the famous school flowers.

Though Glen Chu couldn't be said to be extremely good-looking, he belonged to the sort of good looks that was recognizable from a mile away.

Back then in school, the girl confessed to him. However, as a person with responsibilities and a sister to look after, how could he have the time to date?

Not to talk about the fact that he still has to study if he wants to pass his examinations. So he politely turned her down, thinking that would be the end of it. But who would've known that the girl he rejected would hold such a deep grudge against him?

Knowing that his best friend had a crush on her, the girl agreed to go out with his best friend if he made his life miserable.

A few hours ago, the shameless couple came over to gloat at his misfortune. And after the revelation, the original Glen Chu got angry, wanting to fight his friend.

One thing led to another, and his friend broke a chair on his head, causing the original owner to die.

And when the current him woke up, the shameless couple had long vanished.

They probably feared that he might be dead, not wanting to get locked in jail.

Glen Chu rubbed his stinging head.

'So painful. Why do I feel a swell on the back of my head?'

Luckily, his hair covered the spot. Or else wouldn't it be too eye-catching?

He just came into this world after dying too abruptly in his previous life.

He, Glen Chu, liked life and was full of energy to live the best way he pleased!

There were so many ways to make money.

So if scumbags blocked the traditional route, he would just have to look for another way.

He might have to try things he had never done in his previous life. But so what?

Learning was part of being human. And he wouldn't back down from such.

Glen Chu rummaged his mind about all the information on this strange world called Blue Sphere.

It was a parallel world similar to his former world, yet still differed in a few ways.

History was too different, with many bizarre facts and folktales combined.

But at least, while history changed, the educational system was pretty much similar to what he was used to.

Movies and music were also familiar to him.

In the end, apart from history, this parallel world was 99% similar to his former world.

'Should I join the entertainment industry?'

With his face, shouldn't he be able to get one gig?

Acting, singing, dancing... Hey... Should he get ready to become a pop star?

[Host selected and forcefully bound. The Mysterious Adventure Guide System is activated.] A robotic voice resounded in his ears.

What? Goldfinger?

Glen Chu was taken aback. "Fuck, you finally appeared for this daddy."

Goldfinger... He actually got a Goldfinger!

The corners of his lips were raised exaggeratedly.

With the system, wouldn't his worrying days be over?

He had the confidence that with the system, he would be able to provide his sister with a better life. Though he had no idea what a Mysterious adventure guide was.

'System, could it be a tour guide? And what's up with the part?'

[Host, it is indeed a tour guide. But not just any guide. The host is an adventure guide, talking customers through various adventures all over Blue Sphere. The host will be responsible for their safety and their health. To receive a starter pack, the host must create and register a tour guide business.]

Glen Chu excitedly slapped his thigh.

Though he was recently short of money, he still had enough to do a basic registration.

Then what was he waiting for?

He had to register his business now!
