Chapter 59:

False...

Hacker Class

The skies were grey, like a premonition of something uncanny. Something strange. Every second or so, a low, deep rumble emerged from within the grey clouds, and as Alden cast a gaze at the sky above him, he was sure it would rain. He hoped to come back after the rain had stopped however, but at the same time he didn't want the mission to be too long. These days, he was focused on completing his hidden dungeon missions, since that was where he was truly strong. He realized he needed to be, because the more he heard about Mar Kirr's old master, from both Mar Kirr and now, from his dragon soldier, the more he realized how dangerous he was. The vampire king. That's what they called him. If Alden didn't conjure enough strength to even rival him, he could potentially lose everything that was dear to him. If the vampire king was experimenting, then the human race had little time. That's why... He needed to get this over with. "Is everyone here?" Sarah Foster asked. Currently, they stood in a circle around her, as she went through her usual routine. After everyone confirmed that nobody was missing, she looked to Alden as she spoke. "I'm sure many of you are familiar with Alden Hall, who joined us last time. He will be joining us today too, make sure to make him feel welcome. That's all, let's get going." With that, she turned around, her golden hair flying in the wind. She took strong, and steady steps toward the gate, her posture confident and focused. " Where's my introduction? " Prince asked, his face a picture of devastation. " You're not there yet, pal." Alden chuckled as he followed the leader. Prince just grumbled to himself grumpily as he followed close behind. Alden threw a glance at himself. A black cloak sat upon his shoulders, reminding him that he had yet avenged his father's death. Upon him, was a charcoal black light armor, and not only did it provide sufficient protection for him, but he could move easily in it. "Come on, Alden. Let's get this over with." Alden mumbled to himself, before he stepped into the gate. It was time.

Sitting around a table in a tent, was a young man. Around him sat his colleagues, their eyes fixated on him, like a crowd observing a stunning circus performance. " Yah, I'm not lying. I saw that guy there, that time he was still weak. But yeah, I saw both him, and Light Mcking enter the dungeon.""for real?" one of Asanda Nkosi's colleagues enquired."Yeah, I saw them. I was even there when the false gate happened!""Yorh! Sounds hectic..." one of the female colleagues muttered. "It was... Everyone was panicking! They were making calls, and running here and there. But you know me? I was just chill." "Ahhh, you capping!" another laughed. "Mxm, where you there? Exactly! I was there when all the officials came. Because seriously, think to yourself man. If I be scared and panic, will it change anything?" "No..." the crowd answered in unison. "Exactly, that's why I was just calm." "So you hear that?" someone asked. "What?" Asanda asked, trying to listen. Sure enough, panicked shouts filled the outside. The group got up in a hurry and rushed outside, and then they realized where all of the panic emanated from. Through the center of the gate, a large crack exposed a dark space within, and from what was showed that could only mean one thing. "A false gate!" a girl gasped. "Her Asanda, is this what you were... Huh? Where is he?" Asanda nkosi was nowhere to be seen. (chill, he went to the toilet)

The cold, and gloomy world evanesced into an old and distant memory, and in place of it, a sight of a lonely and lifeless field. It's short grass was golden, the life sucked out of it, and it's tall trees were dry and far apart. The sky was yellow, cloudless and the sun non-evident. There was no blue sunny sky full of positivity and life, and not even a Grey cloudy sky. There was no life at all. Among the dry soil, were skulls lying about. And, even whole skeletons. Horns, claws and other skeletal parts lay about, further amplifying the deathly atmosphere surrounding the plain. The portal behind suddenly dissapeared into nothingness like a puff of smoke, leaving Alden in his group confused and stranded.Alden turned to find Sarah Foster, but found she was nowhere to be seen. Only Prince, and a few others were nearby, their faces wearing a common expression of worry and panic. "Alden, is it what I think it is?" Prince asked. "A false dungeon..." Alden muttered. However, what the group saw next further filled them with anxiety. [S-GRADE DUNGEON] [MONSTER PARADISE]
