Chapter 23

Volume 6- Trains And Dares 

My days in Hokkaido were really fun and I returned back to Tokyo on the third of January, 2023. As soon as I got home, I realized I still had Senpai's confession to answer. I thought I'd tell him that I liked him a lot but I still had to fall in love with him but I didn't know if I had the guts to tell him that. Ah!

The next day, I went to school being super confused and nervous. I told Kei about everything and how I didn't know what to tell him because I didn't know how he'd react and she told me to calm myself down and talk to him in my usual self. 

At the music club, no one was there except for me and the president so she told me that I could do whatever I wanted. Just then, a girl from the camera club came to our club room and asked president Kawasaki to model for some pictures but she said she was a bit busy and left. So I was the only option. 

I followed her to the camera club room and then she got a call and she told me to go on in and tell the guy inside that I was the model. Then, she left. What the hell?! 

Anyways, then I went inside after knocking on the door. 

The room was amazing with a lot of cameras inside along with a white screen and a green screen and some costumes and outfits. The room even had its own changing room! 

"Hello, is anyone there?," I asked. 

Just then, a guy stepped out of the changing room. It was Senpai!! 

I stared at his face for a while and then I said: "Happy new year!". 

He gave me a stool to sit down on so I sat down. I knew I was blushing like an idiot, just like him. 

"I'm here to model for you, Senpai," I said. 

"Y-yeah. I know Yotsuya-san sent you here. Let's get to work, then," he said and started to set up some lights and all for the shoot. 

Why was he being so quiet?! 

"Senpai, you ok?," I asked him. 

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me. Just pose for me," he said. 

Weird! 

When the shoot was done and he was packing up the cameras and all, I thought I'd talk to him. Just then, an announcement was made that all the students who were still at school should go home because the time was up. Upon hearing that, he just walked out of the room. What?! 

I ran after him but he was fast. The corridors were empty and I could tell that only him and me were left now. 

By the time I caught up to him, he was changing his shoes. When he was putting the school shoes in the shoe cubby after wearing his normal ones, I grabbed his hand. He blushed and his eyes widened. I didn't care if a janitor saw me, I just wanted him to talk to me!

"Senpai, what's wrong? Why are you ignoring me?," I asked. 

"I'm not ignoring you. I'm just not the type to talk so much," he said. 

"Liar!," I said and let go of his hand. "Fine, then. Don't talk to me. I hope we never talk again this year. Bye!," I dramatically said. 

I turned around and walked outside. 

As soon as the cold wind hit my face, Senpai's hand grabbed my arm and he turned me around. We were outside and the cardigan wasn't enough to keep me warm.

"Don't say that," he gently said. 

I turned my face away from him. He grabbed my chin and made me look at his beautiful face. I gulped. What was gonna happen here? I dunno! 

He was just going to lean in when a janitor shouted at us. 

"What are you doing? Don't do anything romantic here! Go home!," he said. 

We ran away as soon as we heard him shout in his raspy voice.
