Chapter 100:

Landslide

Spice of Life

The next day, Serika woke up rejuvenated as she headed to school for her test.

"I'm getting a perfect! Just you wait twintails!" Serika thought as she entered the school.

Elsewhere, Rika, Masaru, and Itsuki finished casting their ballots.

"Today, I can feel it. It's going to be a good day," Rika grinned.

"A good day for Prime Minister elect Ookuma you mean," Rebelle sneered as she appeared with Mahi, Azami, Pika, Frosting, Sorbet, and Kyoko.

"Really? Heard your new leader got busted for being a kidnapper."

"That was just... unfortunate circumstances. She is one our party is happy to be rid of," Rebelle huffed as she and her group stormed away.

                                                                          ...

Once Rika, Masaru, and Itsuki returned to the restaurant, Waki, Matcha, Zuina, and Benihime all left to vote.

"So you finished voting too then?" Mimi asked as she served Madoka her crepes.

"Yup, and this time, Ookuma's going down," Rika smiled.

                                                                       ...

As school got out, Serika stared at the results board.

"Where am I? Where am I!?" Serika nervously glared as she scoured the board for her name and place.

                                                                     ...

Serika walked into the restaurant later than she usually did with her head held low.

"Heard you had a test today. So how'd it go Celery?" Yuni growled as she ate her chicken.

"Heh, 100% PERFECT BITCH!" Serika proclaimed as she slammed her test paper down on the table.

"Oh. Well congrats. I've gotten countless perfects."

"The hell you acting all high and mighty for, huh!? When I found I scored first, I had to wait longer so that I could get my test paper to take home. Let me revel in my victory you twintailed bitch!" Serika fumed as she snatched her test back and headed up to her usual seat.

Bianka, Reika, and Mochi were already up there waiting when she arrived.

"100%! I did it!" Serika joyfully shouted.

"Then to celebrate your first perfect score, energizing honey takoyaki on the house Rika smiled.

"*Sigh* Wish I could catch a break," Helga sighed as she lounged on one of the sofas and watched the TV.

"Don't worry, Rika said she's feeling really good about Ookuma's party losing big time," Mimi grinned.

"Hope the optimism's warranted."

                                                                        ...

Everyone in the restaurant stared intently as the first results of the election came in.

"Prepare yourselves for the crowning of your new queen, Madam Ookuma!" Rebelle proclaimed as she and her group stormed in.

"That bitch is gonna lose," Yuni glared as the group stormed past her and headed for the terrace.

"Hey punk, our new Prime Minister's gonna be sworn in soon. I'm here to drag you off to a correctional facility," Azami sneered as she strolled up to Serika.

"Fuck that piece of shit Ookmua!" Serika growled as she continued eating her meal.

"My, so you were a detractor too, well that isn't so shocking considering your degenerate demeanor," Rebelle sneered as she gazed at the television.

"Breaking news! It seems like Ruchi Ookuma's party... Is heading for a humiliating landslide defeat!" the anchor stated as preliminary results flashed on screen.

Rebelle immediately went pale and began to sweat buckets.

"What the hell!? Even the special election for the house of councilors seat!?" Azami fumed.

Mahi began to tremble with anger while Pika angrily glared at Frosting.

"Did you blab!?" she demanded.

"N- No! I didn't tell anyone we hid the skull," Frosting nervously stuttered.

"Hmm? What's that about hiding Sundae's skull?" Reika asked.

"Piss off you cretin we-"

"Are under arrest," Reika glared as she whipped out her badge.

Pika immediately went pale and bolted for the door, only to get tackled by Helga.

"You bitch Pika! I trusted you!" Helga glared as she struggled to restrain Pika.

"You're the one that got tainted," Pika snarled as she broke free, only to run right into Mimi's fist, downing her instantly.

"I surrender," Frosting sighed as Reika cuffed her before cuffing the unconscious Pika.

"Sorbet and Kyoko will also be required to come to the station for questioning," Reika glared.

Sorbet and Kyoko began sobbing as the begrudgingly followed Reika.

"Good riddance you piece of shit, fuck you!" Serika smiled as she gave a middle finger salute to an image of Ookuma that appeared on the TV.

Ookuma's party had lost every single seat it both held and contested along with the special election as well.

"Well that was a disappointment. It seems the movement was nothing without Madam Ookuma. It seems the people have spoken. A shame, I had high respect for you, but you failed to properly train your followers to lead in your absence," Benihime scowled as she went back to the kitchen.

"Rebelle, you've lost," Zuina glared as Rebelle fainted from shock and soiled herself.

"Hey dissenters, clean up your buddy's mess!" Rika glared at Azami and Mahi.

"The hell!?" Azami glared.

"What? Never used a mop before?" Serika snickered as she happily ate a honey covered takoyaki ball.

Azami and Mahi fumed as Itsuki brought a mop bucket up.

"I believe you are more suited to do the mopping, mother," Itsuki snickered.

"You tainted heathen! How dare you treat me like this!" Mahi fumed.

"Ara, I'm back. Oh, seems you two caused a mess. Please clean it up," Reika smiled.

The two begrudgingly complied.

"Well that was fast," Matcha noted.

"A squad car just happened to be passing by, so I handed everyone off to them. I am technically off duty."

                                                                             ...

"Looks like that sludge bitch lost big time!" Yuni snickered as Mahi and Azami exited the restaurant carrying the still passed out Rebelle.

"Seems your candidate has lost, mother," Masaru stated.

"You brat. When I take over Tabemono, I'm tearing this place down day 1!" Azami glared as she left.

                                                                             ...

Back on the terrace, Reika smiled as she gazed at Serika and the election results.

"Fubuki, we finally did it. Ruchi Ookuma and her influence are no more. Now, time to ride this wave and rid the world of Illumous so the children can grow up in a free world," Reika happily thought.
