Vol.2 – Chapter 3.5 – So… Where are my legs?

Did I go too far?

The princess truly believed every word I said. Who the hell would even buy that story? I feel guilty about lying, but the circumstances forced me to.

Apparently, while swimming through the river, I encountered three humanoids. They almost looked human, except their faces and skin were entirely blue, adorned with light-colored markings or tattoo.

A glance at the maid and the butler, and I realize they are formidable fighters. Moreover, I need to keep in mind that I am surrounded by many soldiers in hiding. They are quite stealthy huh... although their hostility gives their presence away. Evaluating my situation, incapacitating the butler and maid and taking the princess as a hostage to escape isn't possible. I smell gunpowder; they have guns. They could shoot my brains out if I make a drastic move, and besides, I don't have legs.

So, I opted for non-violent measures and somehow manipulated the princess into helping me find my legs. I didn't just manipulate the princess but their entire kingdom as well. The scale of the search for my legs was massive, involving soldiers, citizens, and those small white things. I bet my waist below is shaking in fear.

It's already nighttime, and the search for my legs is still ongoing. Where the hell did it go? I don't need to worry, do I? It's just a matter of time before I catch my lower half.

"Lady Mermaid, I'm very sorry; we still couldn't find your legs. But don't worry, we won't stop until your legs have been apprehended. We're going to make sure you get married to the prince."

What!? Oh, I really did go far with my lie. Just imagining myself in that scenario makes me feel like I'm going to puke. I feel bad for this dreamy princess wanting to make this bromance situation a reality, but sorry, I'm not really interested in that kind of sword fight.

"Er... You see... Haha... You can stop now," I said while scratching my cheeks.

"I see... the goal is just a means to an end. The true value of finding the lady's legs was the adventure and friends we made along the way. As expected of her holiness," she said with a face as if she had a huge revelation... What the hell is she talking about?

It's just a matter of time now. My lower half is just a part of me, so I know what it's probably going to do next. Because of this large-scale search, it will probably attack the princess who commanded it, traumatizing her to the point that she can't utter a command anymore. I basically made this woman a pawn for my legs to find, that's also the reason why I am keeping her with me.

Do I feel bad about it?

Well... no. I know it's bad, but I don't feel the guilty conscience within me. I'm just going to protect her when the legs finally reveal itself to make up for it. Then, the princess's butler screamed...

"Princess! THE LEGS!"

"Eh? It's coming right at us!?" The princess holds her chest. The shock on her face turns pale, burning in my eyes, and she falls on her back in disbelief... a creature with no torso is running towards her maniacally.

Heh... So it managed to get past her hidden guards, huh... No matter, I'm going to protect the princess.

"PRINCESS, I'M GOING TO PROTECT YOU!" As I'm about to go towards her, the butler comes forth and shields the princess, using his back.

"M-Mephisto..."

"Don't worry, princess, I made a promise to be your shield no matter what."

The butler wiped the emerging tears on the princess's face... And then... he lowered his pants, revealing his butthole... "BRING IT!!" he screamed.

What the hell is he doing!? The legs became more aggressive, dashing faster like a savage beast. Then it jumped; its silhouette emerged before the light of the moon. A spark emerges... a shining rod becomes hard...

"GAAAGHHHHH!" Mephisto's battle cry, a voice of absolute bravery of accepting the enemy blow that will penetrate his ass.

"NNNOOOOO!" I screamed in terror, from the top of my lungs before the rod fills the missing gap on the butthole. I couldn't do anything but stretch my hands out, trying to stop time... but it's no use... it's going to connect... so I clenched my teeth and accepted it... I decided to just kill myself.

"Blegh!!!" I suddenly vomited green blood when I felt a strong impact on my lower half! Even though we were disconnected, I could still feel the pain in my balls as if they were crushed thoroughly and scrambled like an egg yolk.

This is bad; I'm about to lose consciousness. I look towards my lower half to see what happened... The maid had a thick wood on hand, and my lower half was lying down on the snow.

"I knew it. The pixelated part is the weak spot of that monster," she said. SHE JUST HIT MY BALLS! Ugghh! My... head...

"Lia... You protected me..." Mephisto muttered with swelling tears in his eyes. And the maid laid down the wood on her shoulder and replied... "Of course, I don't want you to get pregnant."

After that... I found myself sinking underwater... The pain in my lower half was so unbearable that my mouth bubbled.

"The lady mermaid has died!" Lucky for me, the princess noticed me drowning. Quickly, the maid reacted, dived into the water, and pulled me out towards the land quickly before I even got swayed by the current. The humanoid started pumping my chest... "Come on... breathe!" she shouted...

"Liareth! You must perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation!"

"NO WAY! HIS MOUTH STINKS!"

IT HURTS! My fucking heart hurts.

Then the stuck water blows out of my mouth from repeated humping... however, blood also comes out from my mouth. I was forced to cough the itch in my throat, and my body felt like it was getting weaker.

My legs came towards me. Its eyes directly looking at my pitiful state.

"You've come... legs..." I smiled slightly upon his sight... "I just wanted to... see you... one last time... before I... die..."

My rod twitched... I knew it; he still cared for me. "I can't live without... you... If I... get separated from you for... more than a day, I'll die..." There's no way in hell I could live without a waist; in fact, no ordinary person can. "But... I don't care anymore... as long as you're happy... Legs... be free."

"No... way... Lady mermaid..." The princess closed her mouth with her hands, tears streaming down her face. I smiled at her. In our brief moment together, I could tell she will going to become a great leader. I knew that because of the number of soldiers looking at us now. They are genuinely loyal to their majesty; I just knew it.

I looked towards my legs again, there is a drip of urine on the slit. I wiped it off with my fingers. "Are you... crying?" I asked, yet it didn't respond.

On my last breath, I told him the truth of what I thought about it. "You... are my prince..."

"LADY MERMAID!!" The princess screamed with tears as I left this world in peace. As if that's actually true; of course, I was pretending! Wait... why is everyone crying!? I'm just gathering my legs' empathy so he'll be willing to reattach with me, you know!

"Eh? You want me to cut her tail."

Looks like my deceit is actually effective. My legs asked for the maid to cut my tail.

"I see, so this is the only way..."

The maid sighed. She borrowed a sword from one of the soldiers... Oh boy, this is going to be painful...

FRICK!!

The maid cut me slowly! It was not my real tail, but I could still feel it. I endured and acted like a corpse until the end. I endured it.

My waist looked at the sky, before looking at me.

It ran away...

"YOU FUCKING!"

I leaped towards it using the remaining strength of my arms and my flight and fight response and landed on my torso. We wrestled with each other; it struggled savagely, but I managed to assimilate with it with persistence. We finally became one again.

FINALLY!!! I regained control of my lower half.

Oh shit...

I looked on my back and saw the humanoids staring at me with their mouths wide agape. The previous tears in their eyes are no more, but their expression is that of disappointment and betrayal.

"I'm... alive... I'M ALIVE!!" I shouted, but none of them reacted even a little bit.

Then the maid finally uttered... "Catch him! Don't let him escape! It's a goblin!!"
