Chapter 4:

chp. 4-Prophecy

DolYoko

"Oh, you haven't heard? That place was destroyed a month ago. But luckily I heard they were evacuated."

Well at least they're saved, I begin to walk further into the city. I saw more wonders, a city made out of pure gold.

Gold, a status of wealth and health throughout time, will stand as a monument of fame.

As I walk the golden bridge into the center of the golden city I see writing Lining the inner walls and pictures of beasts and gods, I stop to take a moment to look at the art. Hmm.

This drawing and sentence have long been faded for centuries even? Huh, this character resemble me?

I began to ponder what connections I could have, which I have seemed to never think about less than my change in appearance as I began to analyze my memories. The same brown hair and green eyes, I heard a voice shouting while running closer.

"The prophecy, there om my lords thanks the heavens it is true!"

I look to my left seeing a brownish-colored man who appears to be in his early 20s running at me with a face of happiness.

"Wait let me take a breather first-"

he is slouched over with his hand on his knees trying to gasp for air after running here in a rush.

"May I help you?" I tried going closer hands out.

"Nope. I'm fine one more minute"

he appears to not be fine he begins to look up at me with a smile and says

"So the prophecies were true!"

"May I ask what prophecy you speak of?"

He said happily

"Imnush teaching- sorry for being rude I almost forgot to introduce myself, hello I'm Zago. I am a preacher for the Imnush religion. I teach and learn Imnush and I am proud of it!".

"I am uh." I paused for a while.

"Huh, no name?"

I was sad but it went away because it was true I did not have a name. "Hmm, what if I gave you a name?" I nodded

"since you look so much Doyonka, hmm maybe DolYoko, meaning Blood-Bloom, a type of flower synonymous, with Doyonka, the goddess of Blood moon.” he said happily

"when the blood moons out, the blood-blooms sprout." They say everytime Doyonka walks, blood blooms rise from the ground and the sky turns into a blood red with a small moon follower her"

he pointed at the wall at the character That looked like me

"DolYoko.. well that sounds wonderful!" I replied

"Hmm, must be wrong about the prophecies"

well now I see why I was getting looks. He guided me close to the temple of gold and, as he walked beside me I saw the works of art and more writing across the walls. The sights were lively, people dressed in robes drawing art on the wall and writing on walls as well.

"This is the inner walls of the golden city with the temple called "Tekunn", portal of life, and this temple holds the knowledge of our gods."

This place seems to be pretty prestigious.

"Us in the robes are called "benun" scholars that learned the teaching of Imnush".

So. This place is as sacred as it looks. As we walked further into the Tekunn, there sat a throne made out of pure gold. It was guarded by glass dragons.

"This is the throne of Sandros. Goddess of the sand and the people that lay upon these lands. It said that Sandros was as beautiful as the land. Eyes were as blue as the sky. Skin as pale as the clouds that drift upon the sky and hair as deep and rich as the sand, there's also a library called “The Sleeping Bismuth Scripts, you see that enormous caste?”

“Yes” I said looking up, reaching up to the skies.

"That's the library, every room filled with books from different categories filled with knowledge for us Benuns to use, as a gift from her. She was truly a leader".

"I have a question?"

"Yes?" he said brimming with joy?

 "What happened to her?"

"She fell to the arms of the triads." He replied looking down at the clear polish ground.

"What are the triads?"

"Triads are Nolanders, organizations of bandits, they steal the arts and materials from our city. Those with no morality, only to cause destruction."

He said with a face filled with pure hate and sadness, I could feel the atmosphere grow cold. Then Zago began to walk me out of the temple only to see fire and death fill the city of gold.
