Chapter 16:

The Journey Begins

My Weird Internship

That morning, fiery excitement filled the rooms of the Villa as the members of the Wood Carving Technique class got ready to go to the mysterious village. It was apparent that they were taking their preparations seriously. Some were busy preparing breakfast, others were packing equipment, and some were helping with logistics.

Juan, seemed confused about which items to take with him to the village. Alvin, Fadil, and Chen, who always liked to tease Juan, saw an opportunity to tease him.

Chen with a mysterious smile. "Juan, don't forget to bring this for your safety." Chen pointed to a clothesline stick hanging nearby, creating laughter among them.

Hearing Chen's suggestion, Juan nodded, slightly confused. "Oh, of course! Thank you, Chen."

However, the jokes didn't stop there. Alvin and Fadil also made strange suggestions to Juan about the things he should bring.

Alvin with a serious expression. "Don't forget to bring a ghost hat to protect yourself from the ghosts in the village."

Fadil nodded in agreement "Yes, and also bring a pencil can, who knows we'll have the longest pencil match there."

They all laughed at Juan's increasingly confused reaction. Juan also became the person with the most luggage in this class, when everyone was outside the Villa. Juan seemed to be struggling with a lot of luggage.

" Jeez, Juan are you a porter or what?" Zane said

However, Mike, the wise class president, saw this mess and decided to give a clear direction. "Juan, we're just going to the village to check on the situation, not to invade them. So, make sure to bring the things you really need."

The other classmates joined in the collective laughter, laughing at the joke they had made on Juan.

In the end, Juan decided to bring only what was necessary and laughed along with his friends. Going to this mysterious village became an unforgettable adventure, not only because of the mystery there but also because of the strong bonds of friendship between them.

Time passed quickly, and the members of the Wood Carving Technique class gathered excitedly in front of the Villa. Mike, the wise class president, took the first word.

"Alright guys, Today we're going to the village to find out more about this game. Remember, our goal is to make sure what Mr. Pope said is true or bullshit. And make sure you are careful every step of the way, since we don't know what will happen."

Everyone nodded in agreement. They knew that this journey was full of uncertainties, but their deep curiosity drove them forward.
