Chapter 1:
Abyssal Shadow
The Sky would forming in a dark but peaceful night, as we see a guy walking with red and black hair, sporting an gothic but punkish appearance with purple and pink eyes heterochromia, the moon itself was emanating a casting shadow within the guy, who looked quite young yet he was only 18 years old, a edgelord to some, but a playboy to many.

The Camera Pans Down as we get a glimpse of the Protagonist, with a scar on his eye and on his nose, as the screen fades to black as the opening starts to play.

"Shadows, they are always around, underneath us sometimes, what we always think about within our emotions, these shadows are always surrounding us till this day, yet no one was able to stop them besides a group of people.."

"What are Shadows you must ask, well they are formed within our emotions each day, the stronger or the weaker it might seem or become, those very bad emotions could manifest into something human like...."

"Ever Since, Shadow Hunters became a thing it was more peaceful these days, yet we can't leave our homes past curfew which is past 11... yet people within the city tend to forget those rules.."

???: (Cautiously Asking) "Hey, Um Boy~ are you of age to be in this part of town??"
The Boy would face the lady asking him, a question as he just yawned slightly.
...
The boy heard a song, playing within someone's speaker so he walked over and bopped his head to the melody from the song.
Guy A: (Smiled) "Yo, what's your name, kid?"
The Boy Smiled before answering, "My Name is Kairo."
Guy A nodded before walking off with his crew, "You aren't young enough to be here, kid so leave now"
Kairo would smirk as he walked off from here, finally able to find his phone he dropped.
Kairo: (Sighing) "Hopefully Mother is alright with me being late..."
Kairo eyed his watch as it read 9:00pm, as the time.
Kairo grabbed his skateboard, as he sprinted and rode on his skateboard, in order to return home.

The Wind would blow intensely, as he was hurrying back home but something or someone caught his attention.
Kairo would eye the shadow entity as he zoomed past the alley it was hiding at, causing him to stop within his tracks.
Kairo: (Scared, slightly) "What The Hell Was That?"
The Shadow Entity would finally appear within Kairo's Line of Sight, causing him to get worried, but he eyed his skateboard as he put it into his back.
Kairo would eye the entity, as he started to sweat as he was unsure of what to do against the shadow entity.
Kairo: (Scared) "Crap... I gotta run and quickly before i get killed by that thing..."
The Shadow Entity would stare at Kairo, walking slowly but menacingly to Kairo.
The Shadow Entity screeched loudly, alarming other shadow entities to head over to where Kairo is at.

(The Intermission Played)
Nyx would smirk, before landing on the ground, in front of Kairo.
The Abyssal Shadow Logo would explode into blood, before disappearing from eye's view.
(The Intermission Would End)

Kairo's Eyes would be wide open, as he seen his life flash before him, since the shadow entity was about to strike him suddenly.
"Am I Really About to Die Here...?"

"Sorry... for worrying you Mom.."
A Glimpse of Kairo's Mother would be seen, slightly.
"Sorry for worrying you as well...but make sure to take care of mom for me..."
A Glimpse of Kairo's Sister would be seen as a flashback almost.
The Shadow Entities would stop moving slightly, for a woman to walk elegantly to Kairo.
The Woman would have Gorgeous Black Hair, and a Fancy Dress as she stood there, charging something of some kind.
???: (Seductively) "...You Seem Afraid, Boy~"
Kairo would eye the woman with the fancy dress as he stared to panic, as he started to notice her wings expanding massively.
Kairo: (Scared) "...What the Hell.."
Kairo would try to force himself to stand up but the woman in the black dress noticed this as she then created a javelin using her holy magic.
Kairo would eye the black dressed woman, as he tried to run off but he was suddenly pierced through the chest by the Holy Javelin Techinque.
???: (Angry) "don't run from me, you filthy pest"
Kairo would stare down at the hole in his body, causing him to gush out blood.
Blood would flow outside of his body like tiny waterfall similar to something out of the Niagara Falls but coded in a dark red color.
Kairo's eyesight started to become blurry as he collapsed on the ground finally.
???: (Eyeing Kairo's Lifeless Body, Smiling) "Finally That Pest is Dead"
A Bright Black Aura expanded around Kairo's lifeless body, starting to make the holy magic user scared, slightly stepping back from the body.
??? would look frightened as she noticed that Kairo was floating upwards, but suddenly forming into a demonic form which was similar to his previous form but harbored a long tail, slightly large horns with bright red but blueish eyes shining through his retinas.
Kairo would stand in front of the woman in black dress, as he then gripped her face, tossing her straight into the pavement.
???: (Angry) "HOW DARE YOU INFLICT PAIN TO ME, A WOMAN LIKE MYSELF..."
Kairo would stare at the woman in the black dress, intensely before extending his palm, as a purple like sphere attack was charging.
???: (Nervous, Crying) "no, don't kill me..."
Kairo stared at the woman, before grinning furiously as he blasted her, away with the attack.
The Shadows would notice that Kairo is vulnerable, as they went to strike at him but they would outclassed by his speed as they were attacking at where he was and not realizing he wasn't anymore.
Kairo eyed the Shadows, as he lifted his hand up as the Executioner, which was a hybrid of a katana, a scythe & a dagger appeared before him, and was caught by him.
Kairo would dash at the Shadows, as he sliced each and every one of the shadows using the scythe variation of the Executioner, causing him to finish them off swiftly without breaking a swift.
Kairo would eye back to the sky, where the woman in the black dress was floating upwards, disgusted by the fact that Kairo is about to end her life.
???: (slightly amused, but angry) "Who Are You, Boy"
Kairo: (neutral) "..."
???: (angry) "Silent Treatment huh?, well I'm a Angel called Nyx, I am one of the few angels that will make this world rain in this shadowy landscape."

..
Kairo would grin, as he teleported behind Nyx using a ability called, Divine Dash.
Nyx would try to find where Kairo went, which caused her to lower her guard a bit, causing Kairo to throw Nyx into the Pavement.
Nyx: (Angry) "How dare you make me kneel down to you, BOY!!"
Nyx would suddenly stare up, showing Kairo appear before her, as he unleashed his Executioner as he switched it to the katana variation, slowly walking to Nyx.
Nyx would cough up some blood, showing her palm covered in purplish but blue colored blood.
Nyx's Pupils would shake viciously as she began to transform into something horrid, similar to a being from a horror game.
Nyx (Final Form): (SHOUTING) "...YOU... DIE HERE!"
Kairo stood there unamused as Nyx slashed him, slightly causing him to slightly fling into the building's wall.
Kairo would dash forward as he eyed Nyx with the intent to kill them, as Nyx dashed back at Kairo, clashing intensely.
Kairo would teleport behind Nyx, sending him to the pavement using Impact Force, which was a violet colored strike based attack using one hand.
Nyx would laugh but cry as Kairo dropped down onto the ground, causing her to panic with random soul beams which was fired at Kairo.
Kairo would stretch his hand out, as he charged up a purple like soul blast which caused Nyx to panic before smirking slightly as he then fired the purple and black vortex like as it vaporized Nyx into straight dust particles, as Nyx was getting absorbed into the blast, her skin and bones were getting broken down to the very particles.
Kairo's Eyesight began to slightly lose it's vision as his aura, demon horns and tail began to fade as he finally passed out on the crater after ending Nyx's life.

Kairo would stare at the screen, as it flashes to a slightly altered version of Kairo with pink hair, gray eyes and a devilish smirk.
The Abyssal Shadow Logo would glitch out, before staying in place.
(The Intermission Would End)

The Sun Shined, as Kairo's Alarm buzzed loudly, causing him to wake up and get ready for school.
Kairo: (annoyed) "how did i get home last night, also i'll need to change that alarm sound..."
Kairo would get dressed, until he noticed a strange X symbol in the Middle of his Torso, which was slightly smaller than what Kairo thought it would be.
Kairo eyed the time, as he realized that he has to head to school, but realized that he could try and eat first before he headed out.
Kairo would yawn, slightly as he continued his walk to the kitchen, as he ate breakfast at the table with his sister and mother.
Kairo: (smiled) "Mom, this is good what's the ingredients to make your meal?"
Miyu: (confused) "Are You Okay, Brother?"
Miyu would eye her brother, Kairo while Kairo paid attention to his mother, Koharu while she was getting ready to speak.
Koharu: (smiled, brightly) "It's a Mix of Love and Everything Else."
Koharu eyed the clock, as she told Kairo and Miyu to get hurry and not be late for the bus, which they agreed by finishing their breakfast and head out to catch the bus.

Kairo would face the screen menacingly, as he then altered to his inner self with the demon form smiling.
The Abyssal Shadow Logo would glitch out, before staying in place.

We then shift to when Kairo and Miyu arrived to their school at Evergreen Hills High School, where it shows that it's the home of the eagles.
Kairo and Miyu would wave at each other as they walked off to their classes
As Kairo continued walking to class, he was stopped by a familiar voice.
???: (annoying voice) "heh, no wonder everyone thinks your a loner, just look at you.."
??? would be revealed as Nathan Williams, #1 most annoying student in Evergreen Hills High
Nathan: (Annoyed) "Madison is so cool, like i don't get how you were able to go out with her but she doesn't need someone as weird as you, she needs me."
Nathan would poke Kairo as he taunted, flexed and insulted him some more.
Kairo: (annoyed) "I don't know you like that."
Kairo would notice that Nathan's Shadow was Growing due to his emotions getting out of whack.
Nathan would scream out in agony, as the shadow formed from within him.
Nathan's Shadow would form into something human like before it stabbed Nathan in the chest, ripping his heart out from his chest, feasting on it.
Kairo: (annoyed) "I just came back and yet i have to fight a shadow... again.. how great."
The Shadow within Nathan slugged Kairo on his chest, sending him flying into the wall of the classroom, causing him to spit out blood.
Kairo eyed the leg of the table, as he then forcefully broke it off to use as a weapon to fight the shadow.
Kairo would dash straight at the shadow of Nathan, causing him to slice the cheek of the shadow.
The Shadow stared at Kairo, as it walked menacingly to him before lifting him upwards, kicking him out of the window of the School.
As Kairo was sent out of the window, he would crash into the ground, causing him to get knocked out.
Kairo would spit out blood, after his body created a crater on the ground, causing everyone around him to look scared, worried or nervous.
Kairo would eye Karson, Madison, Catalina, Akari, Hana and Miyu as they were about to come over, as he yelled for them to get away same goes for everyone, until the same shadow that Kairo was fighting, dashed at him sending him flying into the fence, causing everyone to panic.
Kairo felt his eyes becoming blurry as he then passed out, but the shadow would slowly walk forward to him.
Kairo: (in his thoughts) "damnit why am i struggling...I need to be stronger to protect my friends...my family....and her..."
A Black but Purple like Aura began to surge around Kairo, while he was unconscious causing him to unleash the demon state that he first used against Nyx.
The Shadow grinned as it charged a flame jet blast straight towards Kairo, causing him to tank it with only minor damages to him.
Kairo: (Aggressively) "Now it's your turn to feel pain."
Kairo would teleport back and forth, toying with the shadow of the student who was killed after it was born into the world.
The Shadow would try to fight Kairo in order to end him, but it was overwhelmed by the sheer power of Kairo's Alternated Form.
Kairo would kick the shadow down into the pavement using a bicycle kick, into a axe kick.
The Shadow would shrug to get up, causing Kairo to teleport in front of it, make it kneel by ruthlessly stomping on his back making it grovel.
Kairo: (Demon Form; Cocky) "Beg for Mercy, like the little worthless mutt you are"
The Shadow would get angry from hearing what Kairo said, as it went all out but it wasn't enough as each attack it did, Kairo just dodged it or countered easily.
Kairo: (cocky) "I Guess it's my turn.."
Kairo would extend his palm, as He fired a Darkness Vortex Eclipse which was a blast that he used on the shadow in front of him.
The Shadow would end up getting vaporized by the blast, but causing the ground they were fighting at to get destroyed.
Kairo would eye at everyone, who stared at him back, disgusted at the form he used, which caused him to look back saddened.
Kairo: (angry, but upset) "I'm not a monster, i only used this power as a last resort for your safety and here we are you all looking at me like i am something I'm not..."
Rebecca would walk over as she yelled but cried, as she pointed at Kairo, "YOU MURDERER.... YOU KILLED MY NATHAN..."
Kairo: (angry) "I didn't kill him, it was the shadow that killed him..."
Rebecca: (Yelled) "YES YOU ARE..., NO ONE WOULD SAY IT BUT WE ALL DON'T WANT YOU HERE."
Kairo: (frowned) "O-oh... then i'll leave if I'm not wanted..."
Madison would walk over to Kairo, as she then smacked him, "I'm breaking up with you...so don't come to me anymore."
Karson, Catalina, Akari, Hana and Miyu would eye Kairo, as they seen Madison run off crying and then when they tried to talk to him, he just walked off.
Rebecca would walk off, smiling after remembering she was the one who told Nathan to make his shadow come out so it could fight Kairo.

A Mysterious Person would appear on the roof, as they notice Kairo flying into the sky which was surprising but made them realize that she can try and help him.
Crystal would eye at Mai, as she asked, "what are you doing, staring up there, we have class soon"
Mai: (nodding) "It's not that, i just feel bad for him and maybe i could be the that light in his darkness..."
Crystal: (yawned) "Enough Fangirling and let's hurry to class."
Crystal & Mai hurried out of the roof top in order to make it to class, on time.

Kairo staring at the screen, before showing the whole cast having fun together.
The Abyssal Shadow Logo would glitch out, before staying in place.

We fast forward to about 6 or 7 at night, where we would see Kairo outside, skating for a while.
Kairo would stop skating for a bit, as he closed his eyes focusing his soul to track down a shadow or two.
Kairo would pinpoint two shadows so far, as he skated away while putting his headphones on his ears.
Kairo played the song "Tokyo Bug Night" on his phone, while skating towards where the shadows were.
Kairo would unsheathe his executioner weapon as he then stopped his skateboard, putting it in his bag.
Kairo would transform his executioner weapon into it's dagger form, as he dashed forward into two shadows.
Kairo: (thinking) "These Shadows aren't formed from anyone's emotion or personality, so they must be stronger than those types..."
Kairo eyed the Shadow in the middle, as it tried to screech, by throwing his executioner weapon at it's throat, then palm striked the two other shadows straight into the brick buildings.
The Shadows would merge into something powerful, causing Kairo to move back.
Kairo: (Surprised) "So you guys want to give me a challenge or what?"
Kairo would lift his hand open as his executioner weapon dropped down, causing him to jump up and transform it into it's scythe form.
Kairo: (yawning) "Time to make this very quick..."
Kairo would focus his soul, shaping it into something similar to what the shadows are in front of him but stronger.
Kairo: (shouting) "Universal Edge"
Kairo sliced the Shadow Multiple times, causing it to feel like it's alternate selves was also sliced the same way.
The shadow's black liquidly blood bursted as It then fled elsewhere once the moon shined on it.
...
Kairo would sheathe his executioner weapon, as he skated off home afterwards, but little did he know someone recorded the whole fight on their phone.
???: (grinning) "I finally found you, Boy~"
As the camera panned, it would reveal that ??? was a mysterious but beautiful chinese woman, about a age or two older than Kairo, who was also the one who had the camera that recorded the fight with Kairo and the Giant Shadow.
???'s Phone would ring, causing her to answer it finally.
The Contact would show Mai, as she asked her cousin, Wei if she could head home now, which Wei tells her not to worry and that she's heading home now.

(The Intermission Played)
Mai and Wei would wrap their arm around Kairo, causing him to blush slightly before trying to act serious.
The Abyssal Shadow Logo would glitch out, before staying in place.
(The Intermission Would End)

Kairo would wake up from the tree, a bit exhausted but slightly stressed from fighting shadows, causing him to fall from the very tree that he was resting on top of.
Kairo would rub his head, as he started to get up slowly.
A Unfamiliar Voice Called His Name, Causing Kairo to look at them, slightly.
Kairo looked displeased, as he then stopped slightly.
Kairo: (annoyed, thinking) "I'll try to walk off from here.."
Kairo would try to walk off, but was suddenly stopped by Wei & Mai.
Wei and Mai looked at each other before nodding, blocking Kairo's Paths to Walk.
Kairo would sigh, as he seen her face before, "Aren't You Mai??"
Mai would cover his mouth, as she told Wei to show him what she recorded of him.
Kairo was muffling due to Mai covering his mouth, as she also said, "How about you come back to school and try not to worry your sister, also..." she stared at Kairo seriously, which caused him to chuckle nervously while getting nervous.
Mai and Wei would walk with Kairo, which he didn't mind, causing him to open up to them, "the only reason why i haven't went back or at least stayed by myself was because of what everyone seen me do... seeing a classmate die in front of them by a shadow and taking the blame for it is a heroic thing yet i don't see myself as a hero or a villain just someone who likes to do what he wants even if the world thinks or views me like I'm the bad guy"
Kairo would cry slightly, causing Mai and Wei to hug him.
Kairo would try to walk, but his body suddenly gave out causing Wei and Mai to carry him over to their place, which is where he slept for the night at.
Mai and Wei would lay Kairo on the guest bed, as they then ordered some dumplings from a chinese restaurant which was next door from their house.
As Mai and Wei walked out of the bedroom, they would head to the kitchen and set the table up.

Kairo would begin to slowly reopen his eyes, only to wake up on top of a grassy field, almost like he was still dreaming.
Kairo would look around at his surroundings, as he was super new to this, little did he know someone that looked like him, walked by him.
Kairo eyed the guy, who walked by as the guy suddenly stopped walking and use his soul to change the environment that they were in during the beginning to more of a wasteland with no emotion.
Kairo: (serious) "I'm ready when you are, faker"
The Fake Kairo would look an slightly altered version of Kairo with pink hair and gray eyes.
Kairo tried to use his soul shaping energy techinque, by converting soul energy into his fist.
Kairo: (serious) "Soul Fist!"
Kairo would sprint at the Altered Kairo, in order to get him a bit dizzy yet it didn't work as the Altered Kairo created a shockwave that caused Kairo to get knocked back, into the tree or two causing him to cough up blood from the impact of the shockwave.

Kairo: (cocky) "you are quite strong, but that knockback tickled me.."
The Altered Kairo dashed in front of Kairo as they hit his pressure points, causing him to lose his own balance.
Kairo would fail to regain his balance, as the altered Kairo just walked up to him with a mischievous grin, saying "Use My Power, Human."
Kairo slowly regained his balance, as he unsheathed his executioner weapon, which the altered Kairo responded back doing the same thing Kairo was doing.
Kairo: (shouting) "I AM NOT LETTING A SHADOW LIKE YOU TOUCH ME UNDERSTAND!!!"
Kairo would then dash forward at his altered self as he then went for an attack but it was countered with a simple low kick.
Kairo and The Altered Kairo would clash blows with each other, as shockwaves erupted as the clash between both versions of the executioner weapon and hand to hand combat was shown.
Kairo and The Altered Kairo would sigh and pant as they used their soul energy to send the final blow to each other.
Kairo: (smirking) "LET'S FINISH THIS..."
The Altered Kairo would grin at Kairo, as it dashed forward at Kairo sending a uppercut to his chin, causing Kairo to fly upwards into the air.
The Altered Kairo smirked slightly, as it forcefully gave it's power to Kairo, saying "Do what you want with my powers, boy!"

(The Intermission Played)
Kairo would look at the camera, as he seen Mai and Wei running to him causing him to freak out.
The Abyssal Shadow Logo would turn pink as hearts flying upwards into the sky.
(The Intermission Would End)

Kairo would wake up from his dream, as he smelled food finally.
Kairo eyed Mai, Wei and a beautiful indian girl who all waved at Kairo, smiling about him getting up.
Their Friend eyed at Kairo, as she introduced herself to him, "My Name is Zahira, it's nice to meet you."
Zahira: (chuckled, flirtishly) "my room is upstairs anyways, but i wouldn't mind sleeping with you~"
Mai and Wei would hand everyone, their plates and silverware to eat, as they also listened to music and played games together.
Mai, Wei and Zahira would ask Kairo, "why aren't you coming back to school?"
Kairo: (sighed) "it was because of the nathan situation....that's all"
Kairo would say in his head, "that's mostly not it, but i can't tell them about my demon ability or my executioner weapon...or the source of my power.."
Kairo began to yawn as he head off to bed, to which Mai, Wei and Zahira followed suit, but they knew that Kairo isn't alright.

The Next Day came around, as the sunlight beamed inside the room that Kairo was sleeping inside.
Kairo was in bed until he realized that Zahira, Mai and Wei were all sleeping with him, in the same bed.
Kairo would blush slightly, before asking them to wake up, since they all have to head to school.
...
...
Kairo would get inside the shower, but realized the bathroom was very huge, and it was something like a bath house in Japan.
Kairo would get inside the shower as he then washed up, not realizing that Wei, Mai and Zahira would follow suit and do the same thing.
Kairo: (surprised) "WAIT, WAIT I'M IN HERE..."
Zahira didn't hear Kairo's Pleads, before opening the door with Mai and Wei following behind, causing Kairo's Nose to Bleed.

(The Intermission Played)
Kairo would wait for the others, as the screen shifted to Zahira, Mai and Wei posing with him afterwards.
The Abyssal Shadow Logo would turn red, as the blood moon appeared visibly.
(The Intermission Would End)

Kairo, Mai, Wei & Zahira would all walk into the school's campus together, as they headed to class.
Everyone eyed Kairo as they seen him with Mai, Wei & Zahira surprisingly.
Alex: (surprised) "Kairo is finally back after what we told him??"
Rebecca was pissed off by this, since Nathan died due to the shadow entity but it was probably the school trying to silence everyone and the media about the incident.
Miyu: (eyeing Kairo, Smiling) "Kairo...come back home for once, alright"
Kairo: (smiling back) "I will try i guess..."
Mr. Anderson walked over and demanded everyone to head to class now, to which everyone did.

We Shift to a Flashback, which took place in 2014, at the Great Shrine in Evergarden Castle.
Many Shadow Hunters and Beings that were similar to Nyx fought against one another, causing the So Called Angels to create something known as Project Kami to be Created.
Project Kami was something that was made by the Angels, in order to create shadows that are controlled by emotions and personalities... though the project was seized until now, once the angels knew that the shadow hunters were just like those insufferable humans.
Wars, Destructions and Crimes were all human made events, which is why those cursed angels made that very project to be created.
Every Shadow Hunter were either killed or injured badly by those Shadows or Angels they seemed fond of or they were forced to retire quickly before they were next to die..
...
Nyx: (smirking) "Humans and Angels will no longer be allowed to be allies and that's that..."
And that's why angels and humans no longer got along, after that moment...
...
We then Shift to the Present Time,
Nyx's Rotten Corpse, was finally sent to the Angels who were all furious, until one of the angels walked inside the council's doors, showing a video of the events of what happened with Nyx and why she died.
The Angels found that the human that killed Nyx will be their long lasting target, if they like it or not but they can't really confirmed due to the video being slightly blurry.
The Angels decided to make a compromise by having one of their own, spy on the human they think killed Nyx, as a student at their school.
The Angelic Female walked inside the Angel council's office as she looked beautiful, with sharp red eyes, and Short Black Hair.
The Angelic Female's Name was revealed as Ariel, as she then was tasked a spying job which she accepted.

Kairo would stare at the sky, as his friends walked over to him and apologized to him for everything.
Kairo then forgiven them, as he asked for them to team up with him.
Karson, Hana, Catalina, Akari, Mai, Wei & Zahira all accepted to work together with Kairo, with Madison asked to join them as she arrived with Miyu to which Kairo accepted right away if it meant his sister can be protected by them.
The Camera Panned as it shows Kairo and The Others, as they formed into the world's next generation of Shadow Hunters.

Kairo would look at the screen, before it glitched out to him in his demon mode.
