Battle Royale with Hernamidos

While Saitori and the UICA helped the Vulpi take down the bombers and spider tanks, Isrina slashed her Wryneck Scythe palms against Hernamidos' wrist blades. The General's shoes fired hidden toxic darts, forcing Isrina to retreat.

"Avian Form: Parotia's Guillotine!" Isrina aimed a beheading kick at the General.

"Nice try, red bird!" Hernamidos ducked and quick-drew a protonet crossbow to capture Isrina in an electrifying net. "Heh! I enjoyed killing your husband and each of your pretty birdie sisters back in the day. Time for you to join them!"

"Ouroboros Fang: Baneful Dreadscythe!" Isrina cut the net with fanged arm scythes. "Hernamidos! I won't let you get away with all you've done!"

The King of the Reaper Squad sliced his laser-cutting cape against her muscular scythes. "Aw, you miss Chenyi and her babies? Too bad I blew them up all those years ago!"

"Ouroboros Fang: Weeping Earthbound!" Isrina roared a shrilling sonic cry in rage.

"What was it Ifan said about Shien living an abundant life with nephews to play with? Even if I didn't shoot her brains off, she would be heartbroken to see a lonely chickadee! Bwahahaha!"

"Shut up! Avian Form: Blackhawk Missile!" Isrina whirled into a cyclone that dashed for the secret police leader.

Hernamidos choked on blood when Isrina punched his chin. "Argh! The red bird still sings! Come on, let me help you see your husband! Haha!"

"Avian Form: Twin-Burst Harrier!" Shien and Mivangeline spun together into a harrier cyclone that knocked Hernamidos back.

"Mom!" Shien hugged his mother.

"My Little Chickadee!" Isrina embraced her only son in tears.

"So, the baby chickadee plans to make a family?" Hernamidos hissed as Mivangeline and the Niangs stood together, giving them a thumbs down. "A loser Niang marries a loser Shuruuko? Let me shoot your brains out before you have kids! Hahaha!"

The King of the Reaper Squad pressed a button on his wrist gear, blasting a flamethrower at the trio. Mivangeline rolled on the ground while Shien coiled his leg around Hernamidos' neck.

"Avian Form: Osprey's Hook!" Shien hand stood to send Hernamidos flying.

"Die! Tiny chickadee!" Hernamidos fired his pistols at Shien while landing. "You can try to marry a pretty girl, but a loser will always be a loser!"

Shien dodged the lasers with Sparrow Hop as Mivangeline met with Isrina.

"We need to dismantle his gear!" Mivangeline told the Niangs. "Wrist gear, cape, shoe blasters, belt, and every hidden weapon!"

Hernamidos' shoes launched swarms of little missiles into the city. The trio triangulated their attack as they dodged the explosions. Hernamidos' wrists launched spinning buzzsaws at them, but the trio blew them away with Riflebird's Wingbeat.

"I'll cover you two! Ouroboros Fang: Draco Animus!" Isrina's arms morphed into dragon heads that spat fire at Hernamidos, forcing him to hide behind his cape.

"Heh! You may know bloody tricks from the demons, but it's not enough against my mercury cape!" Hernamidos grinned until Shien caught his right arm from behind.

"Avian Form: Bowerbird Crusher!" Shien twisted it to break the wrist gear, which burst with smoke and electricity. "Time to even the playing field!"

"Hey! Don't mess with my gadgets, you brat!" Hernamidos whirled his bladed cape to cut Shien's face.

"Avian Form: Wryneck Scythe!" Mivangeline cut Hernamidos' cape off.

Without his cape, the trio saw Hernamidos' belt filled with guns, protonet crossbows, arsenic needles, and other ammunition. Isrina fired Draco Animus at Hernamidos, but his other wrist gear activated a red electromagnetic shield to protect him. He twirled his elbow, commanding his gear to fire whistling missiles at Isrina.

"Ouroboros Fang: Aegis of Misery!" Isrina's hand morphed into an upside-down face shield to block.

Hernamidos combined his pistols, morphing them into a spiked cannon that knocked Isrina's flesh shield down. "Ready to die, cute red birdie?"

"Avian Form: Twin-Burst Harrier!" Shien and Mivangeline spun in a cyclone that tore the cannon and pistols into shreds.

"Heh! Not bad, but too slow!" The leader of the secret police quick-drew his protonet crossbow to catch Mivangeline in an electrifying net.

"Leave her alone!" Shien stood on his hands, rapidly kicking his feet at the General's face. "Avian Form: Ostrich Buster!"

"Ack! Why don't you see your father right now?" Hernamdios fired buzzsaws from his wrist gear.

As Isrina freed Mivangeline, Shien dodged the sharp projectiles and stomped on his shoes to disable his hidden dart launchers. The King of the Reaper Squad roared, grabbing Shien's arm and pressing his wrist gear to electrify him.

"Time to die, baby birdie!" Hernamidos pressed buttons to heighten the intensity, making Shien scream. "No way I'm letting you have kids! Bwahahaha!"

"Avian Form: Blackhawk Missile!" Mivangeline sped in a cyclone towards Hernamidos. "Avian Form: Avocet Lancer!"

The Commander lunged her palm like a spear, destroying the last wrist gear. Hernamidos kicked the couple back and drew arsenic needles from his belt, throwing toxic projectiles at them. Isrina used Aegis of Misery to defend her son and his girlfriend. Mivangeline caught a needle and threw it to cut Hernamidos by the waist and tear the weapons belt off.

"Hey! That's cheating!" Hernamidos quickly grabbed his protonet crossbow.

"Ouroboros Fang: Helshadow Serpente!" Isrina's arms turned into flesh cobras that corroded Hernamidos' hands and crossbow with an acid breath.

Shien quickly rolled to grab Hernamidos' weapons belt and chucked it away. It left the General with nothing else to fight with. The King of the Reaper Squad backed to a corner as Isrina stomped towards him.

"E-eh, so... red bird, m-maybe we can talk about this first?" Hernamidos sweated. "Y-you know? Killing your family wasn't personal, yes?"

The General shuddered when Isrina's eyes darkened with black veins.

"Not personal, you say? You killed my husband and every one of my blood like it was some game!" Isrina hissed. "Because of you, I had to take care of my baby alone without the rest of my family there to help! You made it hell for me as a mother!"

"H-hold up!" Hernamidos stuttered as he curled in a ball. "C-can we just... ah, get along?"

Isrina extended her palm, piercing it into the General's head. "Ouroboros Fang: Tormented Gallows!"

The King of the Reaper Squad squealed as his body thrashed wildly.

"W-wait! I-I'm sorry!" The General's skin bubbled with the faces of every Niang he killed.

Faces bawled as Hernamidos' forehead burst with purple veins. Chenyi, Ifan, Jinhai, and all the baby Niangs he murdered cried out. Shien and Mivangeline hugged each other, shuddering at the sight.

"N-no! Isrina! Tell them to forgive me!" Hernamidos whined as the Niangs' faces made his body bloat with tumors.

Isrina plucked her palm off. "Farewell, Hernamidos."

The faces of every Niang the General slain crawled to Hernamidos' head in anger. Jinhai's face leered into his eyes, making Hernamidos squirm. The face of Isrina's husband and every other Niang engulfed Hernamidos, muffling his pleas for forgiveness. The Reaper Squad leader's body melted into a pile of waxy skin, leaving only his seven-eyed mask on the street. Isrina stomped the mask into pieces. Justice for the Niangs was served.

"M-mom?" Shien ran for his mom when she hyperventilated in exhaustion.

"M-my Little Chickadee," Isrina hugged her son and his girlfriend. "I-it is done. Our family can rest in peace."

Jin Feilong brutally sliced Phoenicia's legs off with her claws and slashed her swordtail to cut Elysia in the chest, almost striking her heart. Ritom repaired Phoenicia's limbs as Nashura healed Elysia's wound, leaving Calice, Enshiron, and Kyrinna to deal with Jin Feilong.

Calice and Enshiron fired wind and lightning at the droid bodyguard as Kyrinna slashed her claws.

"Panthereal Shiva: Ire of Vishnu!" The Countess parried against Jin Feilong's sharp nails. "Panthereal Shiva: Thundering Ramuh!"

Jin Feilong jumped from the icy earthquake, connecting her swordtail with her horns. She rolled into a deadly wheel that charged at Kyrinna.

"Panthereal Shiva: Panthyos Dharma!" Kyrinna slammed her fist into the ground.

She summoned a frost panther that collided with Jin Feilong's wheel formation with an explosion. The droid bodyguard caught Kyrinna off guard by slicing her swordtail through the smoke and cutting her nose. Jin Feilong pounced like a tiger until Calice zapped her with lightning. Enshiron then blasted her away with a tornado arrow.

"We'll beat her together, Ice Queen!" Enshiron bandaged Kyrinna's nose.

Jin Feilong whirled into her wheel formation to charge at Kyrinna, but Calice zoomed at the droid back in a lightning twister. While Calice and Jin Feilong repeatedly rammed into each other in their formations, Enshiron focused his sight on the swordtail. He aimed his violin bow and fired a precise wind arrow that dismantled Jin Feilong's tail, disrupting the droid's wheel formation.

The droid squealed in agony and jumped at Enshiron like a hungry tiger. Jin Feilong smashed his violin into pieces and scratched the Vulpi friend down with her claws. Calice zoomed at the droid with an electric fist, but Jin Feilong swung her horns to prick Calice.

"Panthereal Shiva: Enlightenment of Bodhisattva!" Kyrinna clapped her hands.

The Countess' wrath summoned her colossal ice buddha with crossed legs and arms in meditation. Jin Feilong shuddered as Kyrinna concentrated her last energy into the ice buddha that grappled the droid with its large freezing fist. Jin Feilong tried to scratch her way out as the buddha squeezed its fist, slowly crunching her metallic droid body. When JIn Feilong peeped her head outside the fist for escape, Calice shot a lightning ball at her head to paralyze her. Finally, Enshiron headshot the droid in a finishing blow. Kyrinna hyperventilated with relief as her ice buddha dispersed, releasing Jin Feilong's dismantled body.

"W-we won!" Kyrinna hugged Enshiron and Calice. "You all are the best!"

"Aw, you've become so soft!" Calice rubbed the Countess' hair.

"Elysia!" Enshiron looked for his girlfriend.

He sighed with relief to see Nashura and Ritom taking Elysia and the hurt friends away from the battlefield.

"Makiyu's certainly been watching us. Thank you, Makiyu," Enshiron prayed with Calice and Kyrinna.

"Hey, all!" Shien and Mivangeline hugged their friends in joy.

While Saitori and the UICA fought the Reaper Squad, the Kneapexio hovered towards the friends. Shien and his friends watched Emphynixyion's talons grab the minotaur's horns and drag him away to Dosigma and Kuroyurei. The Cubic and Dynastiotron bosses pounded fists into the machine's chest core until it cracked. The enraged Kneapexio kicked the two with its abdomen thruster, but Kuroyurei latched onto it. The Empress pierced vicious claws inside to damage its engine.

The Kneapexio struggled to shake Kuroyurei off while punching rocket fists at Dosigma. Emphynixyion then perched on the minotaur's head and plucked its eyes off. The minotaur roared in pain and grabbed the DJ and Cubic boss with its six arms and squeezed tightly. It dropped them when the Empress dug a hole into the abdomen thruster, making the Kneapexio trample and lose its levitation. Dosigma punched the minotaur's skull while Emphynixyion plucked its six arms off.

Kuroyurei dug into the chest core, making it explode as Emphynixyion rolled into Orbital Crescendo to flatten the Kneapexio's body. The minotaur opened its mouth to charge a death beam but Dosigma summoned a giant fireball and chucked it inside, making the Kneapexio's skull explode. With the Kneapexio gone, the three bosses roared victoriously before duking out their wrath at the Reaper Squad.

"I'll admit, Commander. Bringing the three bosses into real life was an awesome idea," Ritom high-fived Mivangeline. "We're giving the Federation a taste of their medicine. It feels great!"

"Thank you and Naivern and Dorian for helping me build them," Mivangeline checked on the gang. "Now, there's only one person to deal with and to end this war."

"Fanghui!" The friends looked at the Vultau masters battling the Supreme Herald on a giant whale that smashed cities down.

"Get some rest, and stay low from the battle!" Mivangeline ordered the tired and beaten friends. "Shien, Isrina, and I will help the masters!"

"Yes, Commander!"

Shien, Mivangeline, and Isrina dashed toward the brawl on the island whale. It wasn't looking well for the Vultau masters.
