Chapter 5:

The Lazy Angel is a Dungeon Master

Work, work, work. That's all I've been doing for the past week. I mean, I couldn't even laze off since Iona would keep on nagging me to continue working.

Using my divine powers, I managed to turn my dungeon into a lazy person's paradise. The walls, flooring and everything are made out of a soft, fluffy material called 'Angel's Feathers' which are collected from my pair of wings. And then, I've also condensed some of the floors into one massive floor, so it's not thirty floors, but ten floors, with each floor being three times its original size.

I know, it's a bit weird to use my wings as a material, but it's worth it. The divine power circulating my entire body automatically heals any wounds or missing components so when I pluck one of my feathers out from my wings, it instantly regrows a new one to replace the feather I just plucked out.

Currently, I've fully finished two floors, so only eight more to go, including the boss room.

I could remember I was dead tired by this point, so I asked Iona for a break and he granted me that break. I went to the Imaginary Space where Arula's Angel Station was and lay down to relax after a week of non-stop hard work.

Unfortunately, I ended up falling asleep and took a "quick" nap and by the time I woke up, three weeks had passed. Iona shook his head at me and told me, "In an hour, your dungeon will be revealed for the world to see. I doubt you've finished all of the floors and we can't allow the population of Arula to know the secrets of dungeons. Therefore, you have to attack any incoming invaders on floor one."

I was taken aback by Iona's seriousness and laughed it off. I returned to my dungeon, and when I descended from the sky, I may or may not have been seen by human villagers in the nearby town. I hope they did not see me.

Once I got back, what Iona had said was true. I saw my dungeon from afar, menacingly peaking over the nearby town. It was well over a hundred metres tall with a mostly white marble-like texture.

I don't particularly care what others thought of my dungeon scaling the skies, but if they saw it and decided to challenge it, then I might be in a little trouble. Obviously, I do not want to kill the challengers, as if I kill too many, then other challengers would change their minds about going here and I can't allow that.

After all, I have to make this place one of the most feared, famous and challenged dungeon in all of Arula, so I would have to be careful when playing my cards to ensure I can fulfil that requirement.

But anyway... the first challengers arrived a bit after I returned to the dungeon. To my surprise, it was one of the students from Earth, along with six females and what looked like a male slave. Of course, the student was a male, an arrogant one as well, overconfident of his powers.

"Oi, oi, oi? This place is huuuge! And it seems like it's filled with countless treasures! Alright, I'll go and defeat the boss while you guys search for the loot! Pile them up here, you hear me ya trash?!" he yelled out to the seven of them.

They hesitated for a moment before something like a spell forced their bodies to move and they started to hunt for the treasures I'd spread across the dungeon's first floor. Generally, the first floor would have the lowest tier of rarity, with deeper floors with higher rarity, encouraging challengers to continue deeper into the dungeon. However, the depths of a dungeon would be much more challenging and dangerous due to the fact that lower floors are much closer to the Reincarnation Source of the dungeon; aka the life source of the dungeon.

With that said, I would have probably spared many of these challengers because there are no monsters in this dungeon since I haven't recruited any yet. I hope they don't find the lack of monsters suspicious...

But it should be fine, right? I got some AOE (Area of Effect) divine powers that I could use to "push back" the challengers for now until I could get some contracts in. I want to make some contracts with some divine-related beings like the phoenix or even demi-angels if they exist in this world.

If they are divine-related beings, I could possibly fully control them and make them do my bidding—like doing the housework, laundry, and possibly even my required daily status reports to Lord Raphael!

Oh man, just thinking about not doing any work while my subordinates do it excites me! Alright! Let's get this challenger outta here and I'll make some golems to protect this place while I'm gone searching for divine-related beings! And then—!

I will finally achieve peak happiness.

What? I'm a lazy angel. You want me to be productive? No way.
