Chapter 6:

Chapter 6

My School Crush Was Captured!

Cindy's expression turned into a scowl as she stood up from the ground alongside me and Frederick. Her hands emitted a red glow with fiery sparks swirling around them.

“That's correct,” Frederick chimed in, glaring at his adversary and pointing his new spear at the cloaked man. “We will triumph over you, villain!”

“Indeed,” I added, rising to my feet and brandishing my sword at my nemesis. “But before we engage, I have a question for you.”

“Proceed, I'm all ears,” the cloaked man responded with a wicked grin on his face.

“Are you the demon lord?”

“Ah, now that you mention it, I am indeed,” he confirmed as he removed his cloak, his stature increasing slightly. Black spikes adorned his back, and his serpent-like eyes glowed red. “This is my true form! And I have something to appear to you.”

“What?!” I exclaimed, my eyes narrowing.

“You see, all of our captives are the Drakon people,” the demon lord stated as he walked around the room, his staff materializing out of thin air.

“‘The Drakon people?’” I repeated in confusion.

“Yes, the Drakon people. They are humans who have transformed into dragons.”

I turned to Aldora, who was frowning at me. “You mean-”

“Yes, my boy,” the evil presence ruler affirmed. “Aldora is one of them..After they pulverized my individuals and their settlements were bulldozed, they coordinated into the world of Galvadore as a terminated race, much like myself. I am the final of my kind, and I cannot bear to let down my race, my ancestors.”

“You're delusional and deceitful!” Cindy shouted in anger.

“Yeah!” I agreed.

“Well then, allow me to demonstrate.” With a tap of his staff on the ground, all the captives cried out in agony. I surveyed the scene with a frown, unable to believe what I was witnessing. The captives were being shocked with red electricity. I reached out my hand when I saw Aldora suffered through the same, calling out her name.

Cindy's voice echoed through the room, calling out the name "Xtarin!" I glanced over at her, assuming she was referring to her little brother.

Following the sudden electric shock, a thick cloud of smoke enveloped the hostages, only to reveal that each one of them had transformed into dragons. They lay on the ground, with Xtarin as a yellow dragon and Aldora as a red one.

My disbelief grew as I called out Aldora's name, realizing that she was, in fact, a Drakon.

"As you can see, they are all Drakon beings," the demon lord addressed me and my companions, "and once their hearts are weakened, I will finally harness their power. I will not allow you three to interfere." With a menacing look, he activated his staff, absorbing the hearts of the hostages. "Aaaaahhhh!!!"

I reached out in desperation, shouting, "Noooo!!!"

Despite our best efforts, the demon lord proved to be too formidable for us to overcome. As we faced him in battle, the realization of defeat loomed over us.

"Prepare to face your fate, foes!" the demon lord growled in a deep, monstrous tone, launching an attack against us. We braced ourselves, retaliating against our powerful adversary.

Despite our valiant efforts, the demon lord's strength was overwhelming. Exhausted and in pain, we struggled to keep fighting.

With our hearts racing and bodies covered in sweat, we faced the demon lord, who exuded confidence in his impending victory. I turned to Aldora, promising to rescue her from the clutches of the fiend, even as hope seemed to slip away.

As I knelt on the ground, I noticed Frederick rising slowly, clutching his broken spear. The demon lord had shattered it, leaving fragments scattered on the floor.

Cindy, secured in bruises, endeavored to protect herself against the evil presence lord's assault, but the force was so capable that she was tossed in reverse and collided with the divider. "Aaah!"

Upon hearing Cindy's cry, I called out her name in concern, hoping she was unharmed. The sound of Frederick's voice yelling at the demon lord caught my attention, and I witnessed Frederick charging towards his adversary with his spear. Unfortunately, the demon lord vanished from sight, causing Frederick to miss his mark.

Both Frederick and I searched for the demon lord, but he seemed to have disappeared without a trace. After a period of fruitless searching, the demon lord suddenly reappeared behind Frederick, flashing a menacing grin.

"Ah!" My eyes broadened as I yelled, "Frederick, behind you!"

"Huh?!" Frederick turned just in time to be struck in the abdomen by the demon lord. "Aaaaahhhh!!!"

Calling out Frederick's name, I watched in horror as he was sent flying through the air and slammed into the ground. I knew I had to act quickly. If I didn't come up with a plan, this monster would surely end my life.

The demon lord turned to me and gave me his vicious grin, disappearing out of sight. “Huh?!” I searched everywhere for him and failed to find him.

Where did he go?! I know he's in here somewhere. He has to be…

By the time he reappeared behind me, I noticed his enlarged shadow was casting behind me. I quickly turned around and blocked his scratch attack with his shield, making me slide back a little.

With great effort, I strategized and defended myself against the demon lord's onslaught until a plan formed in my mind to defeat him. Following my strategy, we fought valiantly against our enemy, ultimately reclaiming the dragon hearts and escaping the castle.

Upon our return to our world, Aldora expressed her gratitude by holding my hands and planting a kiss on my cheek, thanking us for rescuing her, Frederick, and Cindy. Despite being taken aback by the kiss, I smiled gratefully, content that Aldora and I had finally become a couple. As I settled back into my routine at home, Aldora and Frederick lived together, and we enjoyed frequent dates. It was truly the happiest ending I could have ever hoped for.
