Chapter 1 : What the Hell is Happening to Me!? (Revised)

Ren screamed out in his head. ‘I’m alive!?’

Thinking back to what happened to him a while ago. A small girl and her cat about to be run over by a truck appeared in his mind.

Waking him up from his thoughts, however, there was a sharp pain assaulting a part of his chest.

Looking down, he saw a clean stab through his body causing him immense pain.

After seeing the situation he was in, lots of different questions started surfing through Ren’s mind, the main one however was why he was still alive and what was happening to him.

Snapping Ren out of his thoughts, he heard a voice. “For someone who was running his mouth earlier, you’re not much”

Looking at the person who had just spoken, Ren saw a burly guy who if someone asked him his age, would say 20 or 30 without even doubting his answer. The person had dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.

The burly person was wearing a sky blue and white uniform.

Ignoring this person for a while, Ren looked around to see where he was. He saw that the ground he was on was elevated like in a colosseum with lots of chairs around him.

Overall it looked like a football field in size and just in general, with some minor changes, such as weapons being at the side.

While doing all of this, pain was assaulting Ren but surprisingly enough, he was so confused, the pain felt minimal, or maybe that was his adrenaline working.

While scanning the seats that were around Ren, he came to see a petite girl sitting down with her legs crossed staring at him and the burly guy.

Before Ren could see anything else, however, he felt his black hair getting dragged, like someone wanted to rip it off his head.

“Look at this guy, all he seems to do is ignore us, even with that chest wound, you still think you’re hot stuff huh?”

After saying this, the burly guy punched Ren in his stomach, making him spit out a bunch of saliva. The adrenaline rush or confusion Ren was experiencing seemed to vanish as he snapped back into his current situation.

“All my lady wanted to know from you was how to get to the damn luxury suites where the top rankers are placed, but you just brazenly ignored her”

‘Just for something that insignificant!?’

After hearing this, however, something inside Ren’s mind seemed to snap like the last piece of a puzzle, and lots of memories that weren’t his started flooding into his brain.

‘I see now, I’ve somehow been transported into some other world or maybe into the future’

‘The body I’m inside now is named Reno Mochizuki, he was a 2nd-year student at Aligning Academy/University which is mostly used for those spoiled rich kids who got denied access to other top academies.'

‘The main difference however was that these universities weren’t like the ones in his original world, they dealt with raising students that would be used against races that wanted to invade the world and to explore other worlds’

Snapping him out of his thoughts once again, the burly man said something more.

“If anything, you’re lucky that I’m the one dishing out the pain, my lady would be much worse”

“If you know what’s good for you, you’d do good to make yourself invisible for the rest of the semester, especially in front of my lady”

“Got that?”

Reno just stayed quiet, not because he wanted to, if he could then he’d agree, it was just that Reno was too tired to even say anything.

Seeing that Reno wasn’t responding the burly man was about to hit him when the girl that was watching interjected.

“You muscle-brained buffoon, can’t you see that he’s injured and about to faint, if the Academy teachers know that we were responsible for this especially when the semester hasn’t even started yet then we’ll be in deep shit, not even my dad can get us out of easily”

The lady had light green hair and eyes and was in a similar-looking uniform to the burly guy with the only difference that she was in a skirt instead of pants.

The lady then threw two bottles at the burly man, one with some green liquid and another with some blue liquid.

“Hmph, if we weren’t in this academy, I’d just have this guy killed on the spot, so annoying, just let him off crippled, no need to thank me for this kindness”

Reno rolled his eyes at the girl’s remark. 'You call crippling me kind? Although I knew it from Reno’s memories, this world is messed up'

The burly guy then smiled with a wide grin “You better be thankful that my lady Lena is so benevolent or else who knows how you’d end up”

He then stuffed the contents of the two bottles down Reno’s throat. While Reno was struggling to stop him, his body could barely muster up any energy and before he knew it, all the contents of the bottles were in his stomach.

When the burly guy saw that Reno finished the contents of the two bottles, he moved and just let Reno fall onto the ground.

“Hopefully you enjoy my lady’s generosity dumbass”

After saying that, The burly man and Lena left through the entrance for the football arena-like place and eventually faded from sight.

While his consciousness was slipping due to how tired Reno felt, he watched the two of them leave. 'Fuck! I just came here. When I get the chance, I’ll fuck you two over, just watch!'

Reno then fainted on the ground. A period of time then passed until someone stumbled onto Reno and then called people over to see what was wrong with him.
