Chapter 63:

Chapter 63 – I’ll Help You

Crystal Evolution

The voyage inside the starlight spaceship lasted three days. During these three days, the spaceship descended several times to the surface of the planet Ostrion, stopping in several cities before resuming its journey.

During these three days, Kieran had spent the first day visiting the area of the ship, which was open to the public with Runihoril.

Unfortunately for his master, access to the engine room or the pilot room was restricted to crew members.

After that first day, he locked himself in his room for the rest of the voyage. Not having enough space to practice his combat techniques, he began to cultivate using the Earth Refinement Pill, which had been refined using the Aclaron.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please. The Starlight Spaceship is about to enter the atmosphere en route to Ribota. Any passenger wishing to disembark is requested to prepare for departure. The Starlight Spaceship will remain at the spaceship port for a duration of 1 hour. Thank you for your attention."

Any passenger wishing to disembark is requested to prepare for departure. The Starlight Spaceship will remain at the spaceship port for a duration of 1 hour. Thank you for your attention."

"Ladies and gentlemen...."

The announcement was repeated for several seconds.

Sitting cross-legged in the middle of his room, Kieran slowly opened his eyes. Yellow light emitted from them for a moment, and an unseen pressure began to weigh on the area surrounding him as he exhaled a long breath before standing up, stretching his arms.

"Looks like we've reached our destination," said Kieran.

"Did you manage to absorb all the effects of the Earth Refinement Pill?" asked Runihoril.

"I feel a little of its effects are still remaining in my body, but I should be able to fully refine it in a day or two."

"Good."

Kieran raised his right hand in front of him and began to attract earth elemental particles in the room. In an instant, his hand was covered with elemental particles that emitted a soft yellow light.

"It's much easier to attract earth elemental particles now. I even feel like I could control their movement to some degree using my crystal essence."

He released his focus, and the elemental particles dispersed again. He walked to the balcony, watching the starlight spaceship enter the atmosphere, gradually reducing its altitude until a city could be seen, growing larger the closer he got to it.

"So it's the city of Ritoba. Only two more days of travel before I'm back home."

Once the spaceship port was reached, Kieran descended, taking one last look at the starlight spaceship.

"I would like to have my own spaceship one day. My travels would be much easier."

"Don't worry about it. With your ability to get a soul crystal from every crystal beast you kill, you will definitely be able to buy one someday."

"You are right, Master."

He turned around, heading towards the city.

Accessing the aurora net, he downloaded the city map to find his destination. After taking a magnetic train, he arrived at a large place at the edge of Ritoba where several crystal beasts could be seen moving freely in a plain. A building with Starlight Beast Stable written on it was at the entrance to the plain.

After showing the ticket he had purchased to the reception staff, a middle-aged man led him to a crystal beast resembling a giant eagle as big as a bus with the edge of its wings covered in a metallic sheen. A seat had been installed on its back.

"Here is the Eagle blade feather of our Starlight Beast Stable. It is a Gold rank beast. It will take you to your destination. You don't have to worry about any possible attack on your journey. The route it will follow is devoid of any beast above Silver rank. None of the other beasts you meet on the way will dare to attack you with its rank," said the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man moved closer to the head of the eagle blade feather, his eyes glowing with a green light, before saying a few words to it. The eagle blade feather lowered, extending one of its wings towards Kieran so he could ride on top of its back.

"The seat is imprinted with inscriptions formations that can repel the wind. To activate it, you just have to put your hand on the inscription to the right of your seat and infuse it with your crystal essence. It is also very comfortable, so you will have no problem traveling on it for the next two days."

Kieran sat down on the seat, and it was exactly as the man had told him. The seat was comfortable. He felt no discomfort at all.

"Do I have to bring the eagle blade feather back to the Starlight Industry in the city I'm going to?" asked Kieran.

"No, that won't be necessary. Once you arrive at your destination, the eagle blade feather will drop you off safely. Once landed, it will return on its own."

"Okay."

"If you have no further questions, I will order the eagle blade feather to begin the travel."

"I have no more questions."

"So I wish you a good travel."

"Thank you."

The man ordered the eagle blade feathers to take flight, and the next moment, Kieran found himself several meters in the air, gradually rising.

The eagle blade feather waved its wings slightly, and its speed suddenly increased, quickly leaving the vicinity of Ritoba City.

Kieran admired the view from above of the eagle as a feeling of euphoria filled his body each time the wind blew over him.

Time passed slowly. He activated the inscriptions formation on the seat as soon as the wind became unbearable for him. Taking out a crystal essence stone from his aurora collar, he began to cultivate.

Two days later, he arrived above the city of Ozryn as the sky began to darken. A feeling of longing washed over him as his eyes fell upon the city beneath him which was surrounded by huge walls erected to defend against the crystal beasts.

"It's been two months since I came back. It feels like years have passed since then."

The eagle blade feather began its descent, landing in a clear spot to allow Kieran to descend safely.

"Thank you, big guy," said Kieran, stroking the eagle blade feather's neck before pulling out a piece of crystal beast meat from his aurora collar to give it to him.

The eagle emitted a cry of joy, catching the meat with its beak, which it engulfed in one fell swoop, stretching its long wings. It waved them slightly, beginning its return flight towards Ribota.

Arriving home, Kieran gently opened the door, a sweet, familiar smell welcoming him.

Walking slowly towards the living room, he saw his brother sitting on the sofa in front of the holographic TV with a small barrier between his hands. Behind him, he could see his mother busy preparing the meal.

Ryan looked towards the door when he heard a noise.

"Kie...."

His words were cut short when Kieran appeared before him, sealing his mouth.

"Mmph!!!"

"Shh."

Kieran gestured to his brother to be quiet before withdrawing his hand.

"What are you doing? Why didn't you say you were coming back today?" Ryan whispered.

"Don't make any noise."

Kieran moved slowly without making a sound, arriving behind his mother. He looked at her for a moment. She was busy cutting vegetables, not paying any attention to her surroundings.

He moved slowly next to her.

"I'll help you," he said, taking the knife from her hands and starting to cut the vegetables.

His mother froze in shock for a moment before a soft smile appeared on her face.
