Chapter 4:

Goodbye my husband

Body swapping makes him ideal mother!

Michael came to me saying he wanted to meet. The same Michael who saved my business from the brink, who was a banker.

Michael was a refreshing young man with a sportsman-like appearance, short hair suited him well. He had an aura that seemed popular among women. When I asked if he did any sports, he said that he wasn't that passionate about sports in his school days, but it seemed that he had been training his body for triathlon challenges since half a year ago.

When I was talking with him, he frequently spoke about how his life had changed due to a certain turning point and how he had found a girlfriend with marriage in mind. He did not tell me about that certain turning point, and I couldn't understand why he was so keen to share such things with me, a stranger.

He also asked about my wife frequently. What kind of life does she lead, is she happy, and so on. When I started to boast about her, Michael listened with a strange gaze that seemed to blend warmth and loneliness.

"Please make your wife very happy," he said.

For some reason, his words left an impression.

"Goodbye," he said at parting, his voice hoarse, as if he were crying. He was a mysterious man.

When I got home, Michelle kept asking who I had met today and what we had talked about.

When I talked about the strange conversation with the strange man, she responded meaningfully, "I see."

And then she said, "Shall we make love?"

Her sudden words, uttered in a calm and gentle voice, made me slip off my chair in a cartoonish reaction.
