Chapter 12:

Olivia's roots

Body swapping makes him ideal mother!

My name is Olivia Brown.

I work as an interpreter for an international company.

I was raised, along with my younger sister, by a banker father and a schoolteacher mother in a financially secure environment, without any inconveniences.

I attended an international school and graduated from the foreign language department of a national university.

To meet my parents' expectations, I followed an elite career path.

However, my heart felt dry.

I knew I had a quiet and domestic personality.

I preferred knitting and gardening.

No matter how many foreign languages I mastered, I couldn't assert myself confidently like other career women.

I preferred interpreting medieval love songs to engaging in logical debates.

My parents and sister were ambitious and career-driven, unlike me.

I often wondered why my personality was so different from my family's, feeling like the ugly duckling in a fairy tale, not knowing the roots of my character.

Then, one day,

"I like you! Please go out with me."

I received a confession from James Smith for the third time.

James was my childhood friend.

Although not a relative, he had always been treated like family.

The first confession was in elementary school.

I don't remember the details, but I remember rejecting him.

The second time was in high school.

I turned him down because I had a boyfriend at the time.

Looking back, my relationship with my then-boyfriend was already cold, but I felt it was wrong to start a new relationship without ending the previous one.

I was indecisive.

The reason we hadn't dated was merely a matter of timing.

Then came the third confession.

I was about to turn 30.

"Okay."

It was a time when I wanted to change something within myself, to break out of my shell. I had always thought of him as a cute little brother, but lately, he had seemed more reliable.

We decided to date with marriage in mind.

However, I was concerned that he might be a mama's boy.

His mother was an old-fashioned and domestic woman who liked to take care of people.

I worried that he might compare me to her and make me feel inadequate.

But I found out this worry was unfounded once we started our married life.

He was mature and independent, and his mother, Susan, treated me like her own daughter.

We got along well and spent happy days together like a real mother and daughter.

One day, I confided in Susan about my struggle with my personality's roots.

Then, Susan revealed a secret to me.

She confessed that her soul originally belonged to a man.

With mixed emotions, I cried in Susan's arms.

"Mom!"

"It must have been tough for you. I'm sorry."

For the first time, I felt connected to my biological parent on a soul level.

Susan passed away before seeing her grandchildren.

"What did you report?"

"I told her I would build a happy family."

We had this conversation in front of her grave.

That night, he lost his composure.

He suddenly pushed me down and boldly kissed me three times!

Seeing his happy expression, I began to empathize with him and gradually felt happier, too. Embarrassingly, I decided to bring out the female role from my inner actor list.

It's not just women with unique sexualities like my mother-in-law who play female roles.

"Oh no, James, you're so naughty."

"Olivia..."

"Hehe."

I admired his blushing face and his impressive bulge through his pants.

Thank you very much (?)

Now, all I had to do was guide him as his older wife.

"I've loved you since I was a kid. I won't let you go."

"Geez, you're such a silly person."

His playful and embarrassing words made me feel happy and embarrassed too.

Knowing that his love was genuine made my own affection overflow.

"Ugh... I ended up feeling good by myself."

Seeing him downcast, I couldn't help but embrace him tightly.

"It's okay. Let's do our best together from now on."

I felt like Susan was warmly watching over us from the heavenly bridge, but it was probably just my imagination.

I became the mother of twin babies and embarked on a new life that truly felt like my own.

The End.
