Meeting the king

Chris stopped in front of a pair of gigantic doors. He glanced at Daisy, who was looking around in a daze. He wondered what she was thinking. 

He didn't know anything about her but it was obviously she came from someplace vastly different. She could barely walk in the dress prepared for her. She didn't look ready for any sort of battles.

In his head, he made the decision to protect her. He would look to it that she would not be put in danger.

Chris knocks twice on the doors. It is the signal for the doormen to open it from inside the room. The slow creak of the doors is deafening.

Daisy looks forward in the room. He mouth is dry and she can't stop shaking.
