Chapter 0:

Prologue “Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it.”

I saw a portal, so I entered it and I became the hero of prophecy

In ancient times there was a majestic castle in a very dense and green forest.

The castle had a very white and clean color as if the castle was a heavenly creation.

In the middle of the high castle there is a towering tower where a priestess used to say her prayers.

And previously the castle was also a gathering place for the seven wise knights.

But not anymore...

********

In a forest that was once green and peaceful, an explosion of fire and the screams of humans have now destroyed it.

The two human camps destroyed each other without considering the consequences they had done to this sacred forest.

Slashed bodies, burned trees and split ground have truly made this forest suffer.

However, the humans still continued to fight and hurt each other using their weapons and knowledge.

In the midst of the battle, a red-haired woman was seen running along with two men accompanying her.

“Cecilia! Go! Do your Ritual again! Meanwhile I will hold all their troops here!” Said a big man armed with an ax to the woman who was running with him.

“No! I don't want to do that Ritual anymore! I've had enough! How many more times do I have to see all of you suffering like this!? I… I don't want to lose any of you anymore!” Denied the woman named Cecilia.

“Don't be such a Kid! If you don't perform the ritual, we will all die in vain in this place!” snapped the man with the axe.

“Enough! Let's just give up! Even if we succeed in preventing them, Even if we succeed in killing them, Still... Still the prophecy will continue to come true! I… I'm tired of all this fighting!” Said Cecilia who stopped running and looked down with tears streaming down her cheeks.

“BOOM!”

Suddenly a very large explosion of blue fire appeared right in front of them all. The huge explosion caused the soil and rocks to catch fire and scatter everywhere.

“That blue flame… Could it be… Damn! Impossible! How did he get to this place! Ganel! Cecilia! Go away, I will hold him in this place!” The man with the ax ordered Cecilia and the man who had been standing beside her.

Then from within the cloud of blue flames a blonde-haired man waved his magic wand.

With just one wave of his wand, the blue flames that had gathered around him had now been extinguished.

And with just one wave of it, a strong wind blew strongly towards the three people who had been in front of him.

“Tch, damn it!” Said the man with the ax while holding back the strong wind that was crashing towards him.

“Hmm, Run? After everything you've done, you still think I'll let you escape? DON'T BE KIDDING! DO YOU THINK HOW MUCH LOSSES AND TROOPS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED DUE TO YOUR ACTIONS! DO YOU THINK I WILL LET YOU INSULT MY NAME AS A HERO OF PROPHECY!?” snapped the blonde man.

“KABOOOM!”

Like a comet, suddenly a black flame fell and hit right above the blonde man.

Even though the black flames were moving very fast, the blond man was able to immediately move his magic wand to block the black flames' attacks immediately.

“HAHAHA!!! How funny! I didn't expect you to be able to whine too, huh? Big bro…”

The black flame then slowly disappeared along with the appearance of that sentence. Now in the disappearing cloud of black flame there was a woman with long black hair who was using her black flame claws to attack the blonde haired man.

The blonde-haired man was shocked, but a few moments later he, with an expression on his face and eyes full of anger, immediately snapped at the black-haired woman.

“YOU!!! THE DISGRACE OF OUR BLOODLINE!! DON'T YOU THINK I WILL FORGIVE YOU JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE MY SISTER!” snapped the blonde man who turned out to be the black haired woman's older brother.

“Wow, so scary.” Replied the woman.

Then they both attacked each other fiercely without thinking about the area around them. The fight between the two of them was so fierce and wild that no one knew which one of them was the sane person in that place. It was as if right now the two of them were wild animals aiming for each other's necks.

“Cecilia!!! GO! Let me and this mad Dog hold Wallace! Do your duty and survive! Trust me! We will all meet and once again try to change all this destiny!” the man with the ax ordered Cecilia, who until now was still staring at the fight and the explosion from the large fire in front of her.

Ganel, a man who had been standing accompanying Cecilia and the man with the axe, watched Cecilia, who at this time could only remain silent and frozen.

Without thinking, Ganel immediately grabbed Cecilia's hand and pulled her away from that place.

Seeing the two of them leaving, the man with the ax smiled because he believed that his two friends would definitely succeed in preventing all this chaos.

“BOOM!”

Suddenly, the black-haired woman fell against the wall of the castle ruins near the man with the axe.

“Mad Dog? Khehehehe... How rude, which part of me really resembles a mad dog?” the woman asked the man with the ax.

Even though the woman had just fallen after fighting with her older brother who was nicknamed the “Hero of prophecy.” But the black-haired woman was still able to talk casually to the man with the ax.

“Don't joke around too much! Right now we all have run out a lot of time. If we don't hurry…”

“STAB!”

Before the man with the ax had finished speaking, suddenly a green spear tip penetrated his chest from behind.

“Khk... Shit...” After being stabbed by the green spear, the man with the ax then collapsed instantly without being able to do anything.

“Hah... Sorry if I attacked you while you were still talking. Actually, I hate tasks like this, but well... it can't be helped. Right now we are on the battlefield, so something like this will happen often, right?” Said the man while pulling out his green spear from the ax man's body.

“Hey, hey, hey! So now the story is that I have to fight two of the seven legendary Knights of this country, right? Hah! Whatever! Whether one or two, this fight will make no difference! LET ME SHOW YOU HOW IT FEELS TO FIGHT A WILD ANIMAL IN DISTRESS!” challenged the black-haired woman.

Elsewhere, Ganel is still pulling Cecilia's arm and taking her to the top of the tower in the middle of the castle ruins.

The two of them continued to run until finally they had both managed to reach the entrance gate of the Tower.

“Cecilia… Hey! Cecilia!” Ganel's words woke Cecilia from her reverie.

“W… What!?” Cecilia was startled from her reverie.

“Maybe it's a little late to tell you, but I'm sorry... It seems my body will no longer be able to guide you to the top of the tower.” Ganel said with a face that was now increasingly pale.

Then Cecilia realized that now Ganel's palms felt very cold, as if she was holding ice.

“Ganel! What has happened to you! How come your body feels this cold!”

“It's okay. Looks like I just got a little poison on the way. Now go, do your job. Believe me as long as I am alive, I will not let anyone pass through this gate.” Said Ganel who then stopped his footsteps and let go of his hand that had been pulling Cecilia.

“Ganel! Let me neutralize the poison in your body first. After that we will go to the top of the tower together!” Said Cecilia.

“No! There's no time left! Go quickly! I don't know, but since we were running earlier I felt like we were being followed by something. It's as if someone is following us and watching us from behind!” Said Ganel who then turned his back towards Cecilia.

Cecilia looked at Ganel's back. At a glance, She could also see that his face and nape were now purplish in color and continued to ooze with cold sweat.

Cecilia bit her lip and then turned her face back.

“… Alright, I entrust this side to you.” Said Cecilia who then ran fast, leaving Ganel standing alone.

Shortly after Cecilia left. A black shadow then appeared from underground. The black shadow looked so black like ink spilled on the ground.

“Aaah… one target missed, but it's great that you were able to protect it from all the traps I've set. Hah... I never thought that in this country there would be people who would act this crazy. Just so you know, maybe this is the first time I've seen someone break through all my traps instead of dismantling them one by one. Huh... but that's strange, isn't it? How is it possible that you can still continue standing after receiving all the poison that is enough to kill a dragon? Is it possible that you are not human?” asked the black shadow.

“... Shut up, if you still want to continue talking, it's better if you just leave this place, because right now I'm in a very bad mood.” Said Ganel who was now standing while leaning on his sword which he had stuck in the ground.

“…”

A few moments later a man appeared from within the black shadow. The man was seen holding a pair of knives in both hands.

The man's body looked thin and weak, but just from his appearance, anyone who saw him would definitely feel nauseous at the smell of blood that would waft from his entire body.

“Oooh… Looks like I've misjudged you. It seems like right now you're still able to stand up just because of your determination. Hah! I'm no longer interested in you. Previously I thought you had a special body, but if your body is ordinary then I will be very disappointed in you!” said the man who was armed with a knife.

“Oh my God... Why are you so talkative? Do you want to fight or not?” Ganel asked.

“Huh? Fight? For what? With your body condition like that, even if I let you, you will die without me having to move a single fingertip.” Said the man with the knife.

“Hah… hah… In other words… you're not going to pass me by, are you?” Ganel asked while his breath was now starting to catch.

“Of course I will pass you, But I will not fight against you.” Said the man with the knife.

“…Heh! Come over here and try to pass me.” Ganel challenged while smiling slightly.

“Well, fine. Whatever you say.”

The man with the knife then immediately ran very fast to pass Ganel.

But suddenly the blade of Ganel's sword was in front of the eyeballs of the man with the knife.

The man with the knife was shocked and immediately stopped in his tracks and jumped back.

“W… What!? How could you possibly catch up with my speed!? No! With your body condition like that, you shouldn't be able to catch up with my speed at all! Because I am the fastest man in the land!” snapped the man with the knife.

“Heh, Brat... If it's only that fast, I'm sure that in five years Cecilia will also be able to catch up to your speed.” Ganel mocked.

“Cecilia? That fake Priestess? Hah! don't be kidding! Alright, I will withdraw my previous statement. I'll show you my speed that makes all the Seven Knights envy me!” Said the man with the knife.

“… Come on.”

Elsewhere, now Cecilia has reached the end of the tower and is chanting the spell to carry out the ritual.

Cecilia chanted her very long Spell solemnly. Even though in her heart she felt worried about her friends who were currently fighting out there. But she continued to throw away that worry by putting all her concentration into her Spell. As if at this moment she was a priestess who was saying her prayers.

While Cecilia was chanting her spell, suddenly a tornado spear Struck from the roof of the tower and crashed towards Cecilia.

Cecilia, who had been chanting her spell all this time, immediately looked up at the sky and jumped back to avoid the tornado.

The tornado then landed and disappeared in front of Cecilia. Now, in the place where the tornado previously landed, a blonde woman can be seen who is now aiming the tip of her spear to attack Cecilia.

Suddenly Cecilia was shocked to see the figure of the woman who was now standing in front of her.

“What? Marie!? Why did you…!?” asked Cecilia.

“STAB!”

The woman's spear quickly struck and pierced Cecilia's chest until it penetrated her back.

And immediately a tornado of wind and fresh red blood spurted out from the wound on Cecilia's back.

“Aaaaggh!?” Cecilia was shocked and endured the pain resulting from the injuries she suffered.

Cecilia was shocked not because of the spear attack that had now penetrated her chest, but she was shocked because the friend she had always trusted had now betrayed her.

In front of her, the woman whom Cecilia considered to be her friend smiled and laughed a little seeing Cecilia who was now injured.

“Cough! …Marie? Why did you…”

Cecilia wanted to ask her friend, but the pain caused her speech and breathing to falter.

And perhaps because she was forcing herself to speak, Cecilia was also bleeding a lot from her mouth and wounds.

“Oops! I'm sorry, but the game is over! I don't need money from all of you anymore, and by the way those knights have also paid me more money than all of you!” Said Marie.

“You… SO YOU ARE THE ONE WHO REPEATEDLY FAILS OUR PLANS! DO YOU KNOW THAT BECAUSE OF YOUR ACTIONS I HAVE TO CONTINUE TO SUFFER BECAUSE OF IT! BECAUSE OF YOU I... Cough! Cough! Cough!”

Cecilia wanted to express her anger, but unfortunately her body had now completely lost a lot of blood, and even her legs felt unable to support her body.

“Come on my friend, don't blame me like that... Look, I just revealed your plan to the Knights for once. Besides, you know how difficult it is to live if we don't have a lot of money in this country.” Marie said as she wiped the blood from Cecilia's lips with her hand.

“SLAP!” Cecilia flung Marie's hand away.

“Don't… Touch me… with your dirty… hands!” snapped Cecilia.

“Tap, tap, tap.” The sound of footsteps was heard entering the room where Cecilia and Marie were talking.

“Wow, wow, wow! What is this? Since when can a Street Dog like you make such a loud noise? In fact, as far as I remember, I never trained you to be a dog with no morals like that.” Said a male Alchemist who had just entered the room.

Hearing the insult, Cecilia just looked down silently without even looking at the man.

“Tch! You street dog, where are your manners! Don't you know that your employer is right in front of you right now! Damn it! Looks like I really have to teach you a lesson once again!” shouted the man who walked over to Cecilia, who was still standing and was stabbed by the spear that Marie was holding.

“Hey Yzak! calm down, let's see what she will do after she finds out that because of her actions, all the residents of her village have now been massacred by imperial troops. Oh yes, if I'm not mistaken, some of them also seem to be used as food for the Emperor's pet Wyverns and Dragons.” Said a man armed with a knife who previously fought against Ganel at the tower door.

“Hmm… Julius? Huh, Looks like you didn't kill anyone this time.” Said a man who was accompanied by a woman. The man was seen carrying a bow in his hand, while the woman beside him was holding a pair of Sica Swords.

“Hey, how rude! Just so you know, I was fighting someone strong, you know! Maybe if I hadn't poisoned him first, maybe my head would be on the ground right now.” Said the man armed with the knife.

“WAHAHAHAHAHA! WEAK! TOO WEAK!!! LOOK AND FEEL THIS VAIN!”

Suddenly the sound of laughter could be heard filling the top of the tower.

Cecilia glanced and saw that three men were walking towards her.

One of the men was the Hero of Prophecy who previously fought against his two friends using his blue flame, and beside him he was accompanied by a man who was carrying a Zweinhander sword on his shoulder and a man who was holding a green spear in his right hand.

“Hey chief! How was your fight? Is it satisfying?” Asked Julius the man armed with a knife.

“Hah! Boring! They're all just good at screaming! If you want you can see it, because I just finished stabbing and burning them all out there.” Said the man with the staff who is the Hero of prophecy and also the Leader of the knights.

“Uwah, that's cruel...” said Julius.

“Tch, don't mind that! Now what? What should we do with this mongrel?” Asked the Alchemist man who had been there for a long time.

“What else? Kill it. We have destroyed the devil and prevented the great disaster that was predicted from happening, and now all the sinners have also perished. If you ask me if there is still any unfinished business, I will answer that all that remains is to return to the City and start preparing a feast to celebrate our victory.” Answered the Hero of prophecy.

“Party!? Let's party! I can't wait to get home and celebrate right away! What do you think the meal will be? What's the Entertainment? What's the show? Oh yes, if I'm not mistaken, we also captured some of those sinners, right? Let's make them fight each other in our Gladiator arena!” Julius said with his eyes sparkling.

“Hold your horse Julius, I know that you are happy, but have you forgotten the one stupid sinner who is currently still standing in front of us?” Asked the man who was wielding a green spear.

“Oh! she huh? The woman who said she wanted to save the people of her village, but now ended up making all her people die and tortured. Hah! Stupid! I wonder what she will say when she meets her fellow villagers in hell.” Julius mocked while looking at Cecilia.

“If you're curious why don't you just go with her to Hell, maybe later you can also meet all the people you killed with your cunning methods there.” Said the female knight who was holding a pair of Sica Swords.

“Hey, what you said was really mean. How could I possibly want to meet a group of rude men like that!” Julius argued which was then answered by the laughter of all the knights.

Meanwhile, Cecilia remained silent and continued to glare at the hero of prophecy. Feeling Cecilia's sharp and angry gaze, the Hero of prophecy then shouted at Cecilia.

“What's with that look in your eyes! You Stupid People! Look what you have done to the land of our Holy Land! We have given all of you a decent life to atone for your sins, but you all stupidly threw it away just to chase your imaginary dreams!” The Hero of Prophecy snapped, who then walked over to Cecilia, who was still pierced by Marie's spear.

The hero of prophecy threw Marie's hand away from the spear that Marie was holding and then grabbed the spear that pierced Cecilia's body and lifted it up.

“Ugh!” Cecilia clenched her teeth while enduring the pain in her body.

“You lowly creatures are unaware of what we have given you!”

“Just so you know! If it weren't for the kindness of our ancestors, you all wouldn't be able to live to this day!”

“Now answer my question! Do you think the kindness we have given is not enough for all of you!? Hah!?” asked the Group Leader.

But Cecilia just remained silent and continued to look very sharply into the Hero of Prophecy's eyes.

The group leader became increasingly angry and shouted at Cecilia.

“ANSWER ME! DO YOU THINK I'M JOKING RIGHT NOW!? DO YOU THINK THIS IS ALL JUST A GAME! DO YOU NOT FEEL ANGRY BECAUSE WE HAVE MASSACRED ALL OF YOU!? ANSWER ME!” snapped the Hero of prophecy.

Suddenly Cecilia began to open her mouth and answer the Hero of Prophecy's question.

“Huh, a game? We who fight with all our might you call it a game!? Cough! Cough!” Cecilia answered while coughing up blood that hit the Hero of Prophecy's face.

The Hero of Prophecy ignored the blood on his face and continued to stare at Cecilia with empty eyes.

Meanwhile, Cecilia thrust her spear deeper into her body so she could get closer to the Hero of Prophecy face.

“Hah…hah…hah…Wallace! This time I'm determined, I'm really going to try to do it! Even if it means sacrificing everything! Even if this land should be soaked in blood! And even though all of humanity would regard me as a criminal! I won't let this world rot in your hands!” Cecilia snapped with her mouth dripping with blood.

“Hear and remember my words! At this moment I have sworn! No matter what and whatever the means, I will free our God!”

“I will return this land to him, and I will purify this land from your feet until there is no place for you to stand on it! Cough… Cough… Cough…”

“With this the ritual is completed! Tier 10 magic activated! Reverse…”

“STAAB!”

Before Cecilia had finished the spell, a knife was suddenly thrown and stuck into Cecilia's forehead.

Instantly Cecilia lost consciousness and died on the spot.

“Is she dead?” Asked Julius who had just thrown the knife.

“…I think so.” Answered the leader who then threw the spear along with Cecilia's corpse to the ground.

“Huh, A fitting end for a mongrel.” Said the Alchemist who then walked away.

And no need to wait a long time, now the seven knights have left, leaving Cecilia's corpse lying lifeless.

“Tap, tap, tap.”

The sound of footsteps echoed in the tower room which was now quiet and empty.

Marie approached Cecilia's corpse and then pulled out her spear which was stuck in Cecilia's corpse.

“As I expected, your silence was because you still haven't finished casting all your spells.” Said Marie.

Marie stared at Cecilia's corpse for a while, then she sighed and said...

“…Hopefully you will be successful in the next world.”

“Cecilia.”
