Chapter 32:

Chapter 28.5 “By that sin fell the angels.”

I saw a portal, so I entered it and I became the hero of prophecy

Infinitely, the emperor's troops kept coming to attack Adel.

Although arrows rained down on him, Adel was able to block them using the earth magic shield that was attached to his left arm.

Even though spears and swords rained down on him, Adel was able to evade them and kill their master.

But despite the mounds of corpses of the dead troops, the relentless attacks continued in his direction.

Meanwhile Adel...

The boy was still standing even though he was covered in blood and had wounds on several parts of his body.

"Come on! No matter how many of you there are, I will continue to stand and protect my family! Because I am Cecilia's student!" Adel snapped with a proud smile on his face.

In the past when the young man had just come to this world and was sleeping for a long time at Cecilia's house.

On the road at the edge of the village, where Cecilia had just returned from her school in the Holy City.

"Help! Help! Help me! Anyone please help me!"

From afar came the voice of a boy who seemed to be surrounded by adults.

Although it could be heard from the ground he stepped on that the boy's legs were trembling, but he still stood up while gripping his lance very tightly.

The boy was screaming for help but at the same time he wasn't asking to be rescued.

"Hmm? From his stance, it looks like that boy already has enough experience." Cecilia muttered from a distance.

"Anyone! Guards! Soldiers! Please help me! I can't fight them all alone!" The boy screamed but still no one answered his plea.

"Hahaha! It turns out that if there is an absence of that girl you can only scream like this huh? Where's your courage and arrogance from before, LITTLE BOY!" Mocked the leader of the adults who surrounded the boy.

" Little boy!? You adult bandits surrounded me but you still dare to mock me as a little boy? Very funny, look in the mirror first!" The boy retorted.

"Hah! It's good that you can still speak with such arrogance, everyone! Prepare your weapons! Once this brat is dead then we'll be able to loot the village to our heart's content! Attack!" ordered the leader of the bandits.

With footsteps that shook the ground the bandits advanced and aimed all their sharp weapons at the boy.

"BOOOM!!!"

Suddenly, without thinking, Cecilia darted straight through the ranks of the dozens of bandits and knocked them out with a wave of wind from her blow.

"What!? How is this possible!? What the hell!? How could that girl..."

All the bandits including the boy were gaping at the scene, they had never seen anything like it in their lives.

" Teacher?" The boy muttered.

"You...! You're the healer girl!? How can you become this powerful!? Weren't you only able to help the boy from behind!?" Snapped the leader of the bandits.

"I'm a healer...? Oh right, maybe because of all these accumulated memories I've forgotten a few things. Sorry." Cecilia replied.

"Teacher? How can you be that strong?" Asked the boy.

"Hmm? If I'm not mistaken, you're Adel, right? From now on leave, this village... I will take care of it myself." Cecilia said.

Hearing Cecilia's words, the boy named Adel was surprised and looked at Cecilia.

"... Why teachers say something like that?" Asked Adel.

Cecilia did not answer and just walked casually towards the Bandit leader.

"You! Don't think we're all going to be afraid of you! Have you forgotten that you two have never once managed to defeat us!?" Asked the Bandit leader.

"Hmm? Strange, if I remember correctly, didn't this boy always manage to drive you all away?"

"That's because you're always helping him from behind! If only we could kill you we would have defeated that boy easily!"

"Then go ahead, because today I will immediately banish you guys for good." Said Cecilia who immediately mounted her stance.

All the bandits stared and watched towards Cecilia who was currently preparing to fight them all. They all looked at each other and smiled a little then ...

"Wahahahaha! How ridiculous! Do you think you can defeat us all with your bare hands!? Wahahahaha! There's a limit to being stupid!" The bandits mocked.

But at the same time, a red lightning bolt shot out of their group. And in just a short time the bandits were screaming hysterically.

It didn't take long for the bandits to be killed by their own weapons.

"Phew... done. From the sound of their heartbeats it looks like they're all dead now." Cecilia said.

"Teacher?" Called Adel who had been standing rigidly in place.

"Huh? Adel? What are you still here for? Didn't I tell you to leave?"

"I... I won't go! I don't know why you said that but I won't go! From that moment on, when I was hopeless and had no one and nothing left... It was you who saved me! Even though you didn't know how to fight and defend, you still tried and got hurt just to save me who you didn't know! All this time I..."

"Well that was back then, now look, I can kill those bandits all by myself. The same horde of bandits from before that you couldn't kill even though I had reinforced and supported all your attacks using my magic from behind. Now go, I don't need you anymore, and also isn't the one who trained your spearmanship is Marie? Then go and learn from her. Besides, outsiders like you shouldn't be in my village in the first place." Cecilia said.

"......."

The young man fell silent and stared at the silver pupils of Cecilia's eyes.

"Teacher... What has happened to those two eyeballs of yours? Why did they turn silver like that?" Adel asked.

"...It's all because of my sin and responsibility." Cecilia replied.

"Sin? If I also have sinned like you then will I also be able to keep being with you?" Asked Adel.

Cecilia then paused for a moment and sighed.

"...No. Because you are not someone who has to bear a burden like me."

Hearing her teacher's reasoning, Adel firmly clenched his fists and took a deep breath.

"Then let me bear the burden with you! Let me also be sinful like you! If that's all the conditions to be able to stay with the teacher then I will gladly accept it!" Adel snapped.

Adel's words made Cecilia surprised and raised one of her eyebrows.

"...Even though your life will be very short?" Cecilia asked.

"I will accept it! Because I will continue to always follow your steps!"

"...What if I get killed or kill myself, what will you do next?" Cecilia asked.

"I will continue and carry the responsibility for your sin! As long as I live I swear not to let you die in front of me! Because... you are my savior!" Adel yelled.

After hearing Adel's answer, Cecilia then sighed and walked over to Adel with her hands that had been stained with the blood of the bandits.

After arriving in front of Adel, Cecilia then stretched out her right hand and patted Adel's head gently.

"I don't know what I have done to you before, but this innocence and honesty of yours will be very dangerous for yourself." Cecilia said.

"......" Adel just stayed silent while looking at Cecilia's silver pupils.

"But that's what I like about you, now let's go home, I hope my mom has cooked food for both of us at her house." Cecilia said while stroking and ruffling Adel's hair.

"So... Can I still follow you?" Adel asked.

"Of course, as long as your little feet still want to fulfill my footprints." Cecilia replied with a small smile.

Then the two of them walked with happy hearts and ignored all the corpses of the bandits on the road, not caring if the corpses would rot or carry diseases, the most important thing was that Cecilia's message would be conveyed to them.

Because whoever intends to attack their village, the grim reaper will welcome them.
