Chapter 0:

Prologue: A new story

A nice, cold breeze swept through the air, leaving a fresh smell behind.

All was light and soothing.
A powerful wind stirred up the still, red and orange sky. Clouds danced around, split and shattered by the wind, making red and purplish waves around the setting sun.
The giant, glowing orb was about to leave the horizon. As the clouds waved around swiftly, it felt like the sun was descending faster than usual.
Admiring this romantic view, there was a guy and a girl sitting laid back on top of a ruined building on the edge of the destroyed city; behind them were all the noise and life: the inner part of the city bustling with its people, animals walking around here and there on the outskirts of the city.
But most importantly: the entirety of their past. Everyone they had once known, everything they had ever loved, every place they had visited throughout the course of their lives... On the whole, everything.

"Aren't you scared?"- The girl asked.

"Scared?"- The guy asked back.

Although the sun was setting, it seemed to become brighter by every inch it moved. It looked like everything was on fire, erasing what's left of the world.

"Why would I be scared?"

Birds flew up from the foliage of trees, chirping and screaming to signal the upcoming.

"It's not like I don't have everything I need."- He smiled.

The girl couldn't help but smile too and snuggled closer to the guy.

"Right."

The wind became faster and faster. The light dazzling into their faces covered up the view in front of them, hiding everything from their eyes.
"After all..."

"This is just a new beginning."

They watched the world end in front of them. The sky collapsed, the ground shattered, they felt the immense heat on their bare skin... maybe it didn't all get destroyed. It could have been just the effects of the blinding light and overwhelmingly fast wind. But for them, that very moment was the end. The world in front of their own eyes...

Ended.

But, well... There is never a complete end, is there? It's all just a new beginning. And so...

A new story.
