Injury.

Ayane let out a scream that was heard by all. They have gone too far…

They all were confused. To them, it was just a small push that might have been more forceful than necessary, but Ayane understood the severe pain she felt.

“My… my arm…”, she said, getting up.

Her full arm got blackened in an instant. There were red, purple, blue and black spots and blood was dripping off from some places. Some of the outer skin layers of her arm were torn off. It hurt much, but she could only understand later when her adrenaline supply ran off.

The horrendous scar on her arm was seen by all her classmates. Some of them felt bad, but they hid it. Yuki couldn’t bear it anymore. She rushed to her aid, but Masato grabbed her wrist.

“Get. you. Hands. Off. Me!!!”

He grabbed her wrist even tighter and pushed her back and pinched the back of her arm.

“Ouch! What the heck are you doing??!? Don't you think this is a bit too much???!”

“Heh. Maybe this will make her obedient to me. Any you… come with me.”

She took Yuki with her to the back of the campus, amid the emergency.

Ayane’s blood coloured the concrete floor. “Ayane! What happened?”, The P.E. teacher came running towards her and began carrying her to the school doctor.

When Masato and Yuki came back, Yuki had dead eyes, which lost its will to resist.

Ayane became unconscious when she was carried by the P.E. teacher to the school doctor and had to skip the rest of the class to rest…

“Where… am I?”, Ayane asked herself as she woke up to the orange hue of the sunlight.

“I see… they pushed me that then this happened…”, Ayane remembered the incident as she looked at her bandaged arm.

She looked around, but she couldn’t see the school doctor in the room, she was probably somewhere else.

“I have to pack my bags…”, she remembered in a sad mood, knowing that she had no friends there to pack the bags for her.

The arm hurt badly, but she had no other choice. The sound of her footsteps echoed through the empty and lifeless hallway.

She went to her classroom and found it empty. That was probably better. At least an empty classroom won’t hurt her.

Packing her books, she found the book that she wanted to give Yuki still there.

“I have to give this to Yuki-chan. I want to ask that question.”

She took the book with her left, uninjured hand and went to the library, in hopes of finding her.

She was gasping for air as she opened the doors to the library. Like always, it was devoid of people. Senpai was not there either.

In the distance, Yuki sat with a book in her hand, reading elegantly, but she had a worried look on her face for some reason. And it became even sharper when she saw Ayane, with her injury.

She started sweating after seeing Ayane. She was visibly scared after seeing her, even more than before. Her eyes were deader than previously when she got bullied by Masato and his group.

What did Masato do to Yuki during P.E. to scare her to this extent?
